BBC Radio 6, UK.
First broadcast May

(includes limited track listing).
This is a radio programme broadcast by
BBC 6, UK, in
2012. Published legally on multiple counts, see the list below.
Copyright of the program held by BBC and copyright of the music by the various record labels and performers.
Due to fair use and other copyright law exceptions, publication and watching, hearing this is permitted in law.
You are urged to support copyright laws, and use the music selection as promotional and within the other terms of legal publication here only.
Support the artists and purchase the recordings if you want to listen more than a handful of times; more than, normal promotional activity, and normal publication for the purpose of historical, artistic and cultural comment and discussion would include.
This recording of the program as a whole remains legal to return to in any case, because of reason 3 below - unavailable material of social interest. Though the music contained within should still be respected and the artists supported normally.
Most of these tracks are in a category that seldom get radio play at all, for most people, and so here, for example, is the equivalent of radio play & other promo listening.
This is a personal recording of the radio program, made with basic home equipment. It is not professional and is not intended to replicate the quality of the original.
PROGRAM BLOCKED IN
GERMANY.
PREVIOUSLY -
16.6.2012
Blocked UK,
IRELAND, GERMANY.
Good news: release of claims by some rights holders mean program is allowed in UK & IRELAND.
BLOCK FOR GERMANY &
CANADA.
I'll try to upload a filtered version with music links already published elsewhere in Youtube. I don't think people in
Germany or
Canada can read this info.
How this is program is legally published:
1. Promotional publication.
People search online and this is how they find out about music and go on to purchase it if they want to hear it more. This program, with BBC copyright and record label & performers copyrights, is not published to enable people to listen to specific tracks over and over. The publisher in You tube asks to support the artists and purchase rather than make repeated listens to the music tracks, which would fall outside the reasons why it's legal in copyright law to publish.
2. Publication for cultural communication: including comment, discussion, analysis. This program is an important historical, artistic and social record, permitted to be published in this way, as it is not for profit.
3. Publication of rare or commercially unavailable material with social interest, published not for profit or gain. This is a valid copyright exception in international laws and national laws in most individual countries, for example UK.
The BBC program is not available to buy commercially, or for free, from BBC archives, or anywhere else.
The program has been aired and is stored by the BBC and generally not made available except if published in this way.
4.
Social media sharing. Shared for other users connected with my Youtube account and others who I know have an interest in this.
