Bob Dean shares his UFO experiences and how they've affected his "truth of the reality". This interview was shot on January 25, 2012 in Arizona. It had been reserved for a Television show that my production partners and I have been pitching -- 'Search4Truth: Internet Chatter and Claims Investigated".
In late January 2016, we agreed to release all the surviving interview footage to the public. This is one of a handful of interviews that I'll be releasing in the coming weeks.
As mentioned in the introduction of this video, this video was built from a copy of the original, which was lost in a rather nasty failure of multiple systems.

Bob Dean : An Officer and a Gentleman (Part 1 of 3)

We have met many remarkable people in the course of our work for Project Camelot, but meeting Bob Dean was one of our greatest privileges. As an elder statesman he is charming, eloquent and dignified, and we are proud to present this as what may be one of our most memorable interviews.
In Part One, Bob shares with us his knowledge of the UFO phenomenon and what he encountered while working at SHAPE in Europe in the 1960s: an inch and a half thick detailed official report on the extraterrestrial 'problem' called at that time simply "The Assessment". Having the clearance to have free access to the document, he read it and re-read it many times, and he tells us how that changed his life. Later, after retiring from the military, he made the courageous decision to defy his Oath of Secrecy and began to speak publicly about what he had learned.
In Part Two of the interview, Bob tells us that this is probably his last interview... and having done so, he pauses, takes a deep breath, and reveals on record for the first time that he has been contacted, and has been on board the craft.

Many people in the world may be wondering how Rob Dean is doing now. The answer is that he is doing very well, and spending the happiest life ever in Monterverde, Costa Rica. He is working as a brilliant bird illustrator, and also locally active in bird-watching. Also, he occasionally plays music around Monteverde as well. He is a well-known figure in Monteverde, Costa Rica as a musician and South American bird expert. I met him on Jan. 2015, and spent a couple of hours together, talking about various subjects and drinking a little beer. That experience was tremendous honor to me, as I am a long-time Japan (the British band) fan. He is a very kind person, and has various knowledge and interest in music, films, arts, birds, and cultures. In personal impression, he is more like a teacher or professor-type than an artist-type (?), as he is very articulate and intelligent on his opinion and knowledge.

Rob Dean
Rob Dean (born 23 April 1955) is a British musician turned professional illustrator, who rose to prominence playing guitar as a member of the British new wave band Japan.
Biography
He is from the Clapton district of Hackney, northeast London, England.
Japan
Dean joined Japan in 1975 at the age of 20. The band began as an alternative glam rock-style band and became a popular new wave sensation in the early 1980s. Dean left the band in May 1981 following their 'Art of Parties' tour, as his guitar work had become increasingly surplus to requirements as they developed a more electronic sound.
He had previously played on their albums Adolescent Sex (1978), Obscure Alternatives (1978) and Quiet Life (1979). Dean's instruments of choice were a Gibson RD artist and a Gibson SG. His last studio contributions were on the Gentlemen Take Polaroids album, released in November 1980. Dean left the band just prior to them achieving mainstream success, which lasted until they finally disbanded in December 1982.

Robert Dean (ufologist)
Robert Orel Dean (born March 2, 1929) is an American ufologist from Tucson, Arizona.
Dean retired from the U.S. Army as a Command Sergeant Major after a 28-year career. He has appeared on radio programs, TV documentaries and at conferences discussing the subject of UFOs and a government cover up of alien visitations to Earth. Dean claims to have viewed a classified government document called "The Assessment" that allegedly discussed threats posed by alien activity on Earth, and concluded that no such threats existed. Dean says he considers himself a professional UFO researcher and had "cosmic top secret" clearance while in the military. In 1992 while employed as emergency services coordinator for Pima County, Arizona, Dean sued his employer for discrimination, saying he was treated unfairly because of his belief in UFOs, and because of his age, reportedly settling for $100,000.

Costa Rica (

Since then, Costa Rica has remained among the most stable, prosperous, and progressive nations in Latin America. Bob Dean
Bob Dean (December 17, 1929 – May 10, 2007) was a kicker and two-way lineman with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.
Dean played college football at the University of Maryland, where he lettered from 1948 to 1950. He graduated with a BA degree in education. He enjoyed three highly successful years with the Eskimos dynasty. He played in three Grey Cup games, from 1954 to 1956, against the Montreal Alouettes, winning all of them. His convert on Jackie Parker's famous 90 yard fumble return won the 42nd Grey Cup classic.
Dean retired from playing after the 1956 season (though he did play one game for the Montreal Alouettes in 1957) but made Edmonton his home and continued to coach. He was a teacher at Victoria Composite where he coached of City Senior Football Champions in 1966 and 1967. At Bonnie Doon Composite, where he was assistant principal, they won two City Senior Football titles (1971 and 1972 City and Provincial Champion) with Dean as Defensive Coordinator of the Lancers. (Ken Brice was Head Coach). Later he was principal at Victoria and at M.E. Lazerte Composite High School where he coached his teams to four more City Senior Football championships.

In Part One, Bob shares with us his knowledge of the UFO phenomenon and what he encountered while working at SHAPE in Europe in the 1960s: an inch and a half thick detailed official report on the extraterrestrial 'problem' called at that time simply "The Assessment". Having the clearance to have free access to the document, he read it and re-read it many times, and he tells us how that changed his life. Later, after retiring from the military, he made the courageous decision to defy his Oath of Secrecy and began to speak publicly about what he had learned.
In Part Two of the interview, Bob tells us that this is probably his last interview... and having done so, he pauses, takes a deep breath, and reveals on record for the first time that he has been contacted, and has been on board the craft.

We have met many remarkable people in the course of our work for Project Camelot, but meeting Bob Dean was one of our greatest privileges. As an elder statesman he is charming, eloquent and dignified, and we are proud to present this as what may be one of our most memorable interviews.
In Part One, Bob shares with us his knowledge of the UFO phenomenon and what he encountered while working at SHAPE in Europe in the 1960s: an inch and a half thick detailed official report on the extraterrestrial 'problem' called at that time simply "The Assessment". Having the clearance to have free access to the document, he read it and re-read it many times, and he tells us how that changed his life. Later, after retiring from the military, he made the courageous decision to defy his Oath of Secrecy and began to speak publicly about what he had learned.
In Part Two of the interview, Bob tells us that this is probably his last interview... and having done so, he pauses, takes a deep breath, and reveals on record for the first time that he has been contacted, and has been on board the craft.

Chaos erupted at Wits University's main campus in Johannesburg this morning as students and police clashed. Outraged students had attempted to attack vehicles entering the campus from Empire Road. We have met many remarkable people in the course of our work for Project Camelot, but meeting Bob Dean was one of our greatest privileges. As an elder statesman he is charming, eloquent and dignified, and we are proud to present this as what may be one of our most memorable interviews.
In Part One, Bob shares with us his knowledge of the UFO phenomenon and what he encountered while working at SHAPE in Europe in the 1960s: an inch and a half thick detailed official report on the extraterrestrial 'problem' called at that time simply "The Assessment". Having the clearance to have free access to the document, he read it and re-read it many times, and he tells us how that changed his life. Later, after retiring from the military, he made the courageous decision to defy his Oath of Secrecy and began to speak publicly about what he had learned.
In Part Two of the interview, Bob tells us that this is probably his last interview... and having done so, he pauses, takes a deep breath, and reveals on record for the first time that he has been contacted, and has been on board the craft.

We have met many remarkable people in the course of our work for Project Camelot, but meeting Bob Dean was one of our greatest privileges. As an elder statesman he is charming, eloquent and dignified, and we are proud to present this as what may be one of our most memorable interviews.
In Part One, Bob shares with us his knowledge of the UFO phenomenon and what he encountered while working at SHAPE in Europe in the 1960s: an inch and a half thick detailed official report on the extraterrestrial 'problem' called at that time simply "The Assessment". Having the clearance to have free access to the document, he read it and re-read it many times, and he tells us how that changed his life. Later, after retiring from the military, he made the courageous decision to defy his Oath of Secrecy and began to speak publicly about what he had learned.
In Part Two of the interview, Bob tells us that this is probably his last interview... and having done so, he pauses, takes a deep breath, and reveals on record for the first time that he has been contacted, and has been on board the craft.

Rob Dean has been involved in ELT as a teacher, director of studies and teacher trainer since 1994. During this time, he has taught a wide variety of ages and levels in numerous countries in Europe and South East Asia, and is currently based in Poland. Prestó servicio activo durante 27 años en la US Army, donde se retiró con el rango de Command Sergeant Major después de haber servido como un altamente condecorado veterano de combate en la infantería. También sirvió en la Intelligence Field Operations y estuvo destinado en los Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), la rama militar de la OTAN. Su autorización de Cosmic Top Secret le abrió el camino para realizar su estudio del documento, altamente controvertido, del cual ahora habla. El Sr. Dean también pasó 14 años como administrador de servicios de emergencia con la Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), para el Departamento del Sheriff del condado de Arizona Pima. También ocupó cargo como el asistente del director para Arizona y director para el condado de Pima para la Mutual UFO Network, y fue miembro de la UFO Studies (CUFOS) y de la Ancient Astronauts Society. Many people in the world may be wondering how Rob Dean is doing now. The answer is that he is doing very well, and spending the happiest life ever in Monterverde, Costa Rica. He is working as a brilliant bird illustrator, and also locally active in bird-watching. Also, he occasionally plays music around Monteverde as well. He is a well-known figure in Monteverde, Costa Rica as a musician and South American bird expert. I met him on Jan. 2015, and spent a couple of hours together, talking about various subjects and drinking a little beer. That experience was tremendous honor to me, as I am a long-time Japan (the British band) fan. He is a very kind person, and has various knowledge and interest in music, films, arts, birds, and cultures. In personal impression, he is more like a teacher or professor-type than an artist-type (?), as he is very articulate and intelligent on his opinion and knowledge.
