It's a Job. It Isn't Personal. Well, Maybe a Little ...
[Milo dumps Nicole in his trunk]::Nicole Hurley: No, you have got to be kidding! You cannot be putting me in the trunk! You cannot be seri-!::Milo Boyd: [shuts the trunk] I'm dead "seri"!
[calling Milo from inside his car's trunk]::Nicole Hurley: Milo, please, you have got to let me out of here.::Milo Boyd: Hmm... nope!::Nicole Hurley: All right, I shouldn't have run away, you just caught me off guard. And the truth is, I think I might need your advice on something.::Milo Boyd: Well, that's a real shame. Because I wouldn't help you if you were the last baby sea turtle dragging your little, tiny body across the burning sand whilst hungry seagulls circled overhead. No, I'd just pull up a chair, sip a pina colada and watch nature take its course.
Nicole Hurley: Life is making mistakes.::Milo Boyd: And death is wishing you had made more.
[from trailer]::Milo Boyd: Are you trying to seduce me?::Nicole Hurley: Yeah.::Milo Boyd: What's the hottest thing about me? That would be my gun.
Nicole Hurley: Why do people do that?::Milo Boyd: Why do people do what?::Nicole Hurley: Deny that they've ever done anything wrong in the relationship - why can't people take responsibility for their shit and move on?
Milo Boyd: You see, what I do is, I hunt down criminals. Idiots who jump bail, specifically.::Nicole Hurley: [laughing] You are a bounty hunter?::Milo Boyd: Yeah. And much as it pains me to say this, and it really does, I gotta take you to jail.
Sid: All I know is, I'm out 50,000 if she's not in that courtroom Monday morning.::Milo Boyd: Wait, you're telling me that I'll get five grand to go pick up my ex-wife and bring her to jail?::Sid: You're a good listener.::[Milo laughs and dances for joy]
Nicole Hurley: Can't we talk about this?::Milo Boyd: Fine. What do you want to say?::Nicole Hurley: [after a pause] I am not letting you take me to jail.::Milo Boyd: Duly noted. Let's go. [scoops her over his shoulder]
[Nicole is calling Milo from inside his trunk]::Milo Boyd: Nic... Nicole?::Nicole Hurley: [crying] Please stop...::Milo Boyd: Hey, remember how we used to be in love?::Nicole Hurley: [still crying] Yeah.::Milo Boyd: Well, that means I know when you're crying for real, and when you're faking it! Bye-bye! [laughs and hangs up]::Nicole Hurley: Oh! God, Milo!::[she pounds on the trunk with her fists]::Milo Boyd: [laughing] Oh, God... so good.
Milo Boyd: Ah, using your one phone call to phone in a story. That is so you.::Nicole Hurley: [surprised look] What are you doing here?::Milo Boyd: Hey, it's a special night. There's no way we're not spending it together. Hey, can we go in the same cell?::Cop: Get in the cell, dickhead.::Milo Boyd: [being pushed] All right, I'm going.

Plot
The last time we saw Danny Ocean's crew, they were paying back ruthless casino mogul Terry Benedict after stealing millions from him. However, it's been a while since they've come back together, which is all about to change. When one of their own, Reuben Tishkoff, builds a hotel with another casino owner, Willy Bank, the last thing he ever wanted was to get cut out of the deal personally by the loathsome Bank. Bank's attitude even goes so far as to finding the amusement in Tishkoff's misfortune when the double crossing lands Reuben in the hospital because of a heart attack. However, Danny and his crew won't stand for Bank and what he's done to a friend. Uniting with their old enemy Benedict, who himself has a vendetta against Bank, the crew is out to pull off a major plan; one that will unfold on the night Bank's newest hot spot opens up. They're not in this for the money, but for the revenge.

Terry Benedict: You think this is funny?::Danny Ocean: Well, Terry, it sure as shit ain't sad.

Larkin: Nathan Jones, A.K.A. Diamond Dog. Former general of the Black Guerillas. He blew up a meeting of the National Rifle Association saying, and I quote, "They represented the basest negativity of the white race." He wrote a book in prison called, "Reflections in a Diamond Eye." New York Times called it a wakeup call for the black community. They're talking to Denzel for the movie.
Vince Larkin: [desperately trying to start a truck] Come on, you stinking piece of shit car!

Plot
John has lost all his money. He sits outside a diner in the desert when Sydney happens along, buys him coffee, then takes him to Reno and shows him how to get a free room without losing much money. Under Sydney's fatherly tutelage, John becomes a successful small-time professional gambler, and all is well, until he falls for Clementine, a cocktail waitress and sometimes hooker.

When good luck is a long shot, you have to hedge your bets.
If you stay in the game long enough, you'll see everything, win everything, and lose everything.
Sydney: This is a very fucked-up situation.
Sydney: You know the first thing they should've taught you at hooker school? You get the money up front!
John Finnegan: I will fuck you up if you fuck with me, ok? I know three kinds of Karate: Jujitsu, Aikido, and regular Karate.
Sydney: [at the cocktail lounge] Tell me something. Are you required to flirt, to behave as you do toward that table of men over there? Maybe... it's some part of your job?::Clementine: Uh, they don't say to do it.::Sydney: But if you don't?::Clementine: Well, then I get questioned, like: "Why were so rude to them?", and, I mean, I can't talk back. I can't tell them to fuck off and leave me alone.::Sydney: As a rule?::Clementine: I'd also lose the tip.
Sydney: I have a friend in Los Angeles. Someone... maybe someone who can help. I can make a call for you, tell him you're a friend, so on and so forth, and we can work this thing out here. I think if you need help paying for your mother's funeral, we can work it out. I want you to see that my reasons for doing this are not selfish, only this: I'd hope that you would do the same for me.::John Finnegan: I would. Thank you.::Sydney: [shakes John's hand] It's always good to meet a new friend. I'll see you later.
Sydney: [to Jimmy] I have the money to give you right now, in this moment. I will give you all that I have. Maybe before you were gonna kill me. Maybe. I don't know. I know John, and I love him like he was my own child. But I can tell you this: I don't want to die. I killed his father. I can tell you what it was. This is not an excuse. I'm not begging for clemency. All that matters, I do not wish to sacrifice my life for John's well-being. But I will sacrifice this money for mine because you have asked me. Because after this, I will have done all I can for John and for myself. I'm going to ask you with all the heart and sincerety that I have, please do not put a bullet in me. And, please, don't tell John what I've done. I trust that once I gave you this money, you and I will take separate paths and that this negotiation will settle everything. That is my hope. I don't wanna die.
Jimmy: What I mean - what I believe... is that you killed his father... like the stories I heard go. Now, if somebody killed my father... I would feel the need to do something. The stories I heard - you know, stories get around - is that you used to be a hard-ass. You were a hard-ass and you took his dad out, Sydney. So you think - what? You can just walk through this life... without being punished for it? Shit, man. I know all those guys you know. Floyd Gondolli, Jimmy Gator, Mumbles O'Malley. They like to sit around in Clifton's and talk, talk, talk. They love to tell stories. You can sit there and look at me sideways all you want. You probably think I'm some kind of asshole or something... but I'm not a killer... like you. You walk around like you're Mr. Cool, Mr. Wisdom... but you're not. You're just some old hood. The other night in the bar, you asking me a question... like do I do parking lot security? Well, the answer is no! I'm trusted security inside the casino. I'm trusted with security, and I don't fuck it up.::Sydney: Good that you have such a sturdy sense of responsibility.::Jimmy: Don't! Don't! Don't fuckin' do that! You understand? I can see right through that shit! You look at me as some idiot, huh? I know you do. I know you. You old guys, you old hoods... you think you're so fuckin' above it... so high and mighty. What am I to you? Some loser? Not with a gun in my hand. Not with the facts I know. Bottom line, Sydney. No matter how hard you try... you're not his father.
Sydney: [John has called Sydney to his hotel room asking for help. Sydney knocks, John answers from behind the closed door] John?::Sydney: ...Sid?::Sydney: Yeah. Open up.::John Finnegan: ...everything cool?::Sydney: What? Yeah, everything's cool. Are you alright?::John Finnegan: I'm fine.::Sydney: You gonna open the door?::John Finnegan: I said on the phone, you know... it's kinda screwed up.::Sydney: Yeah, so? Open the door, let's see what's going on.::John Finnegan: ...you promise you'll help me?::Sydney: [growing exasperated] John, it's cold out here, open the door.::John Finnegan: ...is everything cool?::Sydney: John, open the goddamn door, will ya?::Sydney: [John finally unlocks and opens the door; Sydney enters] Now what's going on, John?::John Finnegan: Just - shut the door. [the door is closed]::Sydney: Why are the lights out?::John Finnegan: Okay, Sid?::Sydney: Okay I'm not gonna...::John Finnegan: -let's just leave them off for a second...::Sydney: -I'm not gonna stand here with the lights out. [Sydney flips the light on]::John Finnegan: Okay now, you promised you'd help me.::Sydney: ...what is this, John?::John Finnegan: I'm sorry, Sid.::Sydney: John, what is this? Who is this man?::John Finnegan: He's uh... he's a hostage.
Sydney: Never ignore a man's courtesy.

Stickman Death Living Room
The Stickman breaks the ice
Brings all cold feelings forward
A shifting sacrifice
A little more to carry homeward
The little crimes slip by
Liquid loyalties re-incise
And reaching for the feed
They unearth a hidden greed
[chorus]
WHO DECIDES RIGHT AND WRONG?
WHO DECIDES WHAT SHOULD BE SAID?
I THINK I'LL NEVER SEE THE PATH AGAIN
A fearless choice of words
Sitting safe a world away
Traffic is a blur
And every coward has his say
Chameleons test the air
Oceans swell and overflow
But the Stickman's everywhere
Eras come and eras go
[chorus]
Those who remain true
Will cut a path of their own
Constant in the slew
Weather judgments and missiles thrown
Constant in the slew
Weather judgments and missiles thrown
Constant in the slew:
To forge ahead and set the tone
I sit here shooting blanks
Out of emptiness
Ain't nothing really want to kill
Maybe your time I guess
Sit and spin the world and its flipside
And I listen backwards for meanings
'Cause i'm a stickman
I live with one dimension dead
Try not to think too many moves ahead
I draw from memory
The stillest kind of life
Slide after slide
You know pain's the sharpest knife
Project what's done so everyone can see
To me it's just a reversal
And I'm a stickman
Frames they go one by one
If I sped it up
You'd see I'm on the run
From some monster off screen
Killing sons
Lonely makes me blue
Envy turns me green
Hate might paint me red
If I load my magazine
But not just now when it's easy to stay clean
When no one sees where you're bleeding
And I'm a stickman
