Precision Bass vs Jazz Bass (Comparison, Explanation)
These are the world's two most famous basses. Ever since the beginning, The P bass and J bass have been rocking the stage and studios. Each of them is a great instrument by itself. Having said all that, whats the difference between the two? What makes an artist choose one over the other? Here, I try to show you what the main differences are between the P bass and J bass. One is not better than the other, but they cover two sides of a spectrum. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ** Just because they are not Fender basses does not mean this comparison is invalid. Sure Fenders are the original designers and manufacturers of the basses, but Squier is based off of Fender. The design and idea are the same. The quality is the only factor incomparable but is irrelevant my this video. ALL COMMENTS WHINING ABOUT THIS VIDEO NOT CONTAINING FENDERS WILL BE DELETED. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ** There are A LOT of other things I didn't cover in this video. If you see a difference between the two, please comment below. Every little bit helps in informing YouTube about how different these two are. Enjoy.

Squire Vintage Modified Jazz Bass: Bargain Vintage Tones
It's common to harbor qualms about buying a "budget" instrument, especially one that was manufactured "overseas" (code for "ASIA!"), but every once in a while there comes an instrument that makes you want to check your biases and trust your ears. With that righteous spiel in mind, give the Squire Vintage Modified Jazz Bass a listen. For under three Benjamins, the Vintage Modified Jazz features the classic aesthetic appointments of the 1970s Fender Jazz Basses, as well as some growly "Duncan Designed" single coils pickups. We think you'll agree: this bass has no right to sound so good for such a low sticker price. See more on Gearwire.com.

jazz bass, Bass player, jazz music - Charnett Moffett - Swing Street
Charnett Moffett plays upright bass, fretless electric bass, and electric piccolo bass. motema.com For musicians, compositions are precious reflections of the soul -- aural snapshots of emotions, reflections and conceptions covering broad swaths of human expression and experience. Each offering allows the musician a new opportunity to communicate on varying wavelengths - conscious and subconscious, simple and complex, spiritual and intellectual. Over the course of a fascinating career that began at a very young age, the virtuosic Charnett Moffett has reached profound musical depths and expanded the possibilities of jazz composition and performance through his creative imagination using his instruments as his voice. His approach to music making and recording can be challenging and unorthodox. Yet the rewards for taking on those challenges are often awe-inspiring, revelatory - and can elevate mere songs to Treasure, the title of Charnett's second project for Motéma Music and his eleventh as a leader.

Fender jazz bass 24 deluxe
This is a real sweet bas. i don't know why people don't seem to talk more about this bass. if this bass was made in America, it would cost about 3 to 4 times more than it does. It does feel and sounds like a boutique type of bass!

Fender Jazz Bass with Flatwounds - Fingerstyle improv test
first time in my life that I am trying flatwounds strings. I kind of like them, but I need more time. Not completely sold just yet. Luckily I have another Jazz bass, so I can keep these strings on this one for a while until I get used to it.
