Gen Glitch: Parry (focus kara into stance change)
Explanation: So, this glitch is basically an extension of the old focus taunt glitch. The reason that glitch works (I think) is because you can kara cancel the focus into any move with greater input priority. The problem is that almost nothing takes priority over a focus - if you try to do an ultra at the same time as a focus, the focus will come out. Taunting is the only move that most characters have access to. Gen has something unique though. Stance changing seems to have more input priority than even taunts, so kara canceling a focus into a stance change works. Stance changing has very fast recovery, making it practical. It's not quite as hard as it sounds. The difficult part is timing the focus to absorb the instant you hit the buttons; stance changing during the absorb animation is relatively easy when you time the first part right. It doesn't need to be on consecutive frames like a kara throw or anything. Everything in the video was done without macros or shortcuts of any kind. --yeb Edit: Wow, a Japanese player found this back in July. www.youtube.com Credit to the Japanese @wiki for the video itself and street11 for the link to the wiki. We're so far behind in technical knowledge. :(

SNSD So Nyu Shi Dae(Girls' Generation) M/V
So Nyu Shi Dae(Girls' Generation) is comprised of nine members who has distinctive charm respectively; Taeyeon, Tiffany, Yoona, Seohyun, Yuri, Jessica, Sunny, Suyoung, and Hyoyeon. All of them have amazing talent in singing, acting, and dancing. Some sort of social pheonomenon aroused in Korea due to their successful debut. They recently released their first album So Nyu Shi Dae(Girl's Generation) after wraping up their first single album. Their title So Nyu Shi Dae(Girl's Generation)--the title name is same as their group one--is a remake song of a popular korean singer Lee Seung Chul's So Nyu Shi Dae which was released in 1989. It is arranged by Kenzi and contains an addictive melody Enjoy this movie plz. IMO SNSD is the best girl idol group so far in korea. : )

Worlds smallest One-man Helicopter GEN H-4 by ADEYTO
ADEYTO meets 75-year-old Gennai Yanagisawa, who runs an electronics equipment company in Matsumoto, central Japan, has created a 75kg (165-pound) one-man aircraft which sets the world record for the smallest helicopter. Gen Corporation, the company employee Yasutoshi Yokoyama flies in the air by GEN H-4, a compact single-seater helicopter developed by Gen Corporation, during its test flight in Matsumoto in central Japan's Nagano Prefecture. Yanagisawa developed the GEN H-4 helicopter — with rotors, a chair, footrest and handle bar — in the late 1990s. Yanagisawa's helicopter is the smallest model in the world in terms of weight and its rotor length of 3.9 metres. The GEN H-4 has two rotors turning in opposite directions to maintain stability, and four engines that enables a 30-minute flight with a top speed of about 56 miles per hour. The helicopter has two identical rotors that turn in opposite directions making the need for a tail rotor obsolete. Each rotor counteracts the others torque keeping the helicopter free of any unwanted spin. Controlling the GEN H-4 is very easy.If you wanted to go forward, you would pull the control bar toward you. If you want to go to the right, you would move it to left, and want to go left, move it to right. Of course you can reverse the helicopter. you only have to push it forward. The rise and descent are controlled by the throttle. If you push the throttle lever, GEN H-4 goes up, you let it, GEN H-4 goes down. If you wanted to turn to ...

we started the project spontaneously in february in burkina faso and two shots from there even survived over the process. we continued to shoot additional scenes at the north sea cost without still knowing all of the story we would be telling at the end. then in hamburg we shot most of the scenes and finished it in brussels in july.
all in all i would say:
round about 7 days of shooting.
lots of nice shots we didn't put in the final editing ;)
shot on canon eos 5d mkII with older nikon prime lenses.

Nikon - WHY
Nikon D4 Release Video
It's here! The Nikon D4 has arrived and it is a freaking HOT camera! For the past months I have been working in silence with an amazingly talented crew and three of the best athletes on the planet producing my short D4 launch film "WHY". It was like Christmas morning when Nikon called and described the new camera and all of its incredible features. All I could think was that this is the camera we have been waiting for. Then the gift of all gifts... "Corey, dream up a film that you would like to shoot. You pick the topic. You pick the location. It's your film... only requirement is you show off the features of the new camera." My favorite quote from the call was "You have a blank white canvas and it's up to you to fill it". I had to pinch myself several times to confirm that the call was real. Everyone involved has been tight lipped about the project for months and today we can finally begin to share some of the assets and get fired up about the camera!!!
I have always been facinated by those people that are the best at what they do. Those that operate on the edge; scientists, artists, musicians, athletes, etc. Always the question that I find myself asking is "WHY"? What deep inside drives them? What does the world look like through their eyes? Those that live on the edge, push the envelope, redefine sports and industries operate in a space all to themselves. In my Nikon D4 launch film I wanted to visually portray the beauty and intensity of the athletes doing what they do best while also delving into their heads and answering the question "WHY"? There was a very simple list of criteria used when selecting the athletes for this film. 1. They needed to be the best in the world at what they do. 2. They needed to be true role modes / heros. (In short, no ego and just simply fantastic people). Dane, Rebecca and Alex fulfill the requirements in spades!
As it seems to be with many shoots, the schedule for WHY was INSANE! In just 13 days we went from Veracruz, Mexico to Moab, Utah to Joshua Tree, California. With a fantastic crew of eight amazingly talented people, three of the worlds best athletes, over 20 pieces of luggage, three D4 prototypes, an rc helicopter and enough RedBull and ClifBars to keep us awake and moving, the entire journey was epic! Huge days, little sleep, lost bags, crashed helicopter (the D4 lived), speeding tickets (talked our way out of both ;-), wicked mosquito bites, flu, and a trip to the urgent care - all the prerequisites for a great shoot. Just the way I like it!
Special thanks to everyone that helped on this production! Dane Henry, Shawn Corrigan, Rex Lint, Mike Hagadorn; you guys are studs! Blaine Deutsch and Marina Rich, thank you for keeping us all on track, organized, fed and looking good (and Marina, thanks for loving me and being the best wife in the world). Gen Umei, Soichi Hayashi, Jason Jenkins and Mike Corrado; thank you for the opportunity! Dane Jackson, Alex Honnold and Rebecca Rusch, you guys really made the film and answered the question WHY!!! Tommy Thompson and Chris McNamara; thanks for keeping us safe and getting me into the coolest camera positions possible! Amazing team and thank you everyone who helped!
When it is all said and done by far the most exciting part is the future. It's about the collective creativity and vision of the photo and video community and what we will all create when we get a D4 in our hands. One thing is for certain, WHY was just the tip of the iceberg!

Urban Abstract
Urban Abstract was created by Jopsu Ramu and Timo Ramu (ex. Huhtala) - creative team and founders of Musuta Ltd. Jopsu Ramu is a young female designer and Creative Director of Musuta Ltd. Timo Ramu is her creative partner and manager of Musuta Ltd.
This digital art piece was commissioned by TV Nelonen / channel 4 Finland and it was shown as the November break bumpers on one of the biggest commercial TV channels in Finland: TV Nelonen.
Urban Abstract has been highly awarded, it has won bronze / in book award in D&Ad; awards in London, Bronze in European Design awards in Rotterdam and most recently it won a Gold Lion from design category in Cannes Lions.
Urban Abstract -piece was born in Tokyo during 2009. It consists of 40 X five second clips or it can be viewed as a one 200 second journey.
The website http://www.urban-abstract.com works as a part of the piece and creates an extra dimension for the clips shown on TV.
URBAN ABSTRACT - About the concept:
Urban Abstract is a journey across urban space that unfolds in forty, 5 second parts. The journey, in one, two and three dimensions, is a bit like abstract surfing in which the original destination is only reached after a number of seemingly random yet linked detours occur. Points , lines, planes and other abstract elements create a journey through an Urban Abstract.
The space between things is as important as intended space, perhaps creating a fourth dimension. Meaningful shapes and purposes occur in this dimension's reality as well. The concept of negative space has meaning here.
Nature plays a part as well. To be able to understand and differentiate what is urban one has understand what is nature.
The style of the shorts is fluid and, though seemingly random, stream into a cohesive whole. Perhaps watching them in a different order would be more like seeing the same journey from another point of view. The sound world is also very important -- movement in space is sensed even if watching the shorts with eyes closed. Sounds overlap, fade, come and go.
Architectural, abstract, someway minimalist and abstract with a touch of humanity.
This feeling is reached through mixing techniques such as vectors , hand drawn lines and painting.
Urban Abstract was realized in Tokyo by a team of artists, designers and animators from Finland and Japan. Urban Abstract was created by Jopsu Ramu from Musuta Ltd, a concept, art & design -studio based in Tokyo and Helsinki.
About the creators:
