Daniel Day Lewis Transforms Into Abraham Lincoln
Daniel Day Lewis has signed on to play Abraham Lincoln in the upcoming film titled....you guessed it, Lincoln. The movie will be directed by none other than Steven Spielberg and will focus on the Civil War president. This film is four years in the making, but it looks like they are speeding right along as a photo surfaced of Daniel dressed as Abraham Lincoln. Daniel adds to the long list of celebs that have played US presidents. To refresh your memory, Tom Selleck played General Dwight D. Eisenhower in the 2004 A&E flick, Ike: Countdown to D-Day. Martin Sheen played JFK in a 1983 miniseries called Kennedy. Jon Voight played Franklin D. Roosevelt in Pearl Harbor. Kelsey Grammer has played George Washington And finally Anthony Hopkins is so badass, he's played not just one but two presidents. In addition to taking on the role of President Nixon in Nixon, Hopkins also played John Quincy Adams in Amistad.
