Having begun his career in British television, 2012 saw Nico reprise his role as Johnny Proude in the second series of the BBC re-make of 'Upstairs, Downstairs', and was named as one of Screen International's Stars of Tomorrow, 2012. He recently finished shooting now filming a new show for British channel E4, MY MAD FAT TEENAGE DIARY due for transmission in late August 2012. Nico is currently shooting the lead in 'The Village', Peter Moffat's 6 part drama for BBC1, directed by Antonia Bird. Tits' best friend, Dodge, is played by Nico Mirallegro, a young actor most recognisable as the young footman Johnny Proude in the BBC's 1930's period remake of 'Upstairs, Downstairs' who following the shoot was named alongside Tittensor as one of Screen International's Stars of Tomorrow 2012. Mirallegro has always been a fan of the Stone Roses having been brought up listening to their music, but is even more so now having experienced a taster of the 'Madchester' culture which swept through the UK in the 90's. Mirallegro says "I'm not sure that I could have put up with the bowl haircuts and baggy jeans, but am massively excited about being in this film and getting to be part of the recreation of such an infamous gig'. Oliver Heald Born in Wythenshawe and raised in Sale, Oliver attended Ashton-on-Mersey High School and Loreto College in Manchester, where he studied Drama, Business and Media. He then went on to pursue performing at Manchester Metropolitan University, from which he recently graduated with a three-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama. During his time at university, Oliver played roles such as Barlocco in THE DEVIL IN DRAG, Tom in THE GLASS MENAGERIE, Michael in VALPARAISO, and The Stud in SEX, DRUGS & ROCK & ROLL. Oliver's debut screen performance is in feature film SPIKE ISLAND, due for release in autumn 2012. Adam Long Adam's role as 'Little Gaz' in 'Spike Island' is his first professional acting role. "Oliver Heald who plays Penfold and Adam Long who plays Little Gaz were directly out of college and along with Elliott, Nico and Jordan they just seemed to fit together beautifully as a team", says producer Fiona Neilson from Fiesta Productions. "We've been blown away by how brilliant they've been," continues Neilson, 'it was incredibly important to us that the boys looked like they'd known each other most of their life and that they gelled as a gang and as a band. But their real life bond is entirely down to what lovely people they are and good fortune that they all got on so well.
