A500 Turrican II - Intro
The sequel and considered by many, the best 'Turrican' ever made, 'Turrican II' showed what Factor 5 could pull of when they had the time combined with the previous experience with 'Turrican'. The end result is simply a dream arcade game, with even a reference to 'Katakis' throw in for good measure. Once again, Chris Hüelsbeck proved his skill, by making me plug my Amiga sound output to my stereo, so I could tape the songs and listen to them in my walkman.

A500 Turrican - Intro
Having and Amiga and never playing this is criminal. The first of one of the most famous games by Factor 5 ever made, brought arcade quality platform shooting action to my home. Legendary OST by childhood reference, Chris Hüelsbeck, that used is own TMFX format to make the Amiga output 7 sound channels, instead of the regular 4.

A500 Turrican 3 - Intro
Funny story, this Turrican. It was actualy made and finished first for the Sega Megadrive/Genesis to be published by Data East (named Mega Turrican), but that took so long, the amiga version was finished afterwards and made it to retail before the Megadrive version. sporting better music. If look up in the dictionary for "flawless" and "OST", there should be a picture of Chris Hüeslbeck in there. Or at least, there should be.

Turrican Soundtrack Anthology, Video Update 1
Chris Huelsbeck presents: The Turrican Soundtrack Anthology project and fundraiser Update #1: New Vinyl award announcement and answers to your questions. Almost 20 years have passed since the last game in the series was released, but Chris has big plans to bring Turrican back from retirement --at least musically-- with the production of the Turrican Soundtrack Anthology: The idea behind this is an epic limited edition box set of at least three CDs, which will feature almost every melody from the saga in newly arranged and recorded versions (including titles like Concerto for Laser and Enemies, Metal Stars, Hall of Heroes, as well as full length versions of all main titles and end-credits!). Demoscene - BitFellas BitJam Podcast #151 - Turrican Special
Re-upload of this video: www.youtube.com This one will be deleted soon, so go to that link instead. Episode #151 - Turrican Special The classic "Turrican" games brought nonstop action to all gaming systems of the 80's and 90's (including the C64, Amiga, Atari ST and PC, as well as the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo). The beautiful synthesizer soundtracks for the series were created by Chris Huelsbeck, arguably one of today's most popular game music composers in the world. His music certainly played a major role in shaping "Turrican" into a digital legend over the years. Chris has recently announced plans to bring the cosmic warrior back from retirement, with the production of a "Soundtrack Anthology" - an epic limited edition box set of no less than four CDs, which will feature almost every melody from the saga in newly arranged and recorded versions! More information on this box set, which will only be available until June 3rd, 2012, can be found at www.turricansoundtrack.com. Almost two decades after the last "Turrican" title was released, BitJam pays tribute to these games and their wonderful music with a dedicated podcast episode. Featured tracks include remixes by Chris himself, as well as a selection of fan arrangements, handpicked by Huelsbeck and the co-producers of his "Turrican Soundtrack Anthology". Mixing by Vincenzo, logo #151 by H2O, compiled by Chris Huelsbeck, Jan Zottmann & Thomas Böcker. Thank you to Bobic for his help! Event: Demoscene - BitFellas ...
