Teo e911 - How it Works
Teo e911 - How it Works
The initial call to a 911 operations center is the critical first step in managing the beginning of an emergency and working toward its resolution. However, telecommunications in many schools, offices and hotels often rely on private branch exchange (PBX) technologies that connect individual extensions throughout the facility. The result: calls made to a 911 operations center from within these facilities may not provide any information about the exact location of the caller. Our highly affordable technology solves this problem. Teo E911 solutions pinpoint the exact location of the caller and automatically notify need-to-know staff. Whether youre onsite or offsite, notification of the emergency and its specific location will reach you in seconds, enabling the immediate implementation of your designated emergency response.

Home PBX Server - Part 1 - Server Build
Home PBX Server - Part 1 - Server Build
I'm starting a new project, one that I've been wanting to do for a while now. I'm going to put together a Home PBX Server, using Incredible PBX/Asterisk! Currently, my phone service is being provided by Time Warner Cable. I have a bundled package with my high-speed internet. With the discount, I pay about $40 a month for phone. Like most people, it seems I hardly EVER use my home phone anymore to make outgoing calls. Why am I paying for something that I hardly use? In this video, I'm using some older hardware and a rack case (that was the subject of my very first video) to build the server itself. This project will probably span three videos.
