We were exploring up by the High Place of Sacrifice in Petra, and decided to go check out some of the more remote parts of the landscape. We found the remnants of a water pipeline that may have supplied the Garden Temple! WOO! Definitely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. And no little kids trying to sell you postcards for 1 JD out there. :-) Note: Please do not attempt to find this place, UNLESS you have experience with scrambling around on sandstone (which is grippy and FRAGILE! I hope you remember that last part BEFORE you're plummeting to the ground with a broken handhold death-gripped in your fist), and are comfortable around heights.- published: 18 Sep 2013
