Did Jesus Found the Catholic Church?
There are literally hundreds of denominations of Christians out there, all claiming to teach on the authority of Christ. It's absolutely ridiculous. So how does the Catholic Church think that what it is doing is any different? Simple: Apostolic Succession.

The Catholic Church: Masterpiece Of Deception
The Roman Catholic Church is perhaps the most powerful and influential religious institution in the world today. Presidents, kings and even other religious leaders seem to show deference to the Roman Pontiff. As ecumenism becomes increasingly embraced by leaders in the broader evangelical world, it behooves us to understand what the fundamental problems with Catholicism are. A false Jesus; a false gospel; and a leader whose very office typifies the antichrist unlike any other figure.

Abuse in the Catholic Church | DW Documentary
Child abuse in the Catholic Church was long a taboo subject, kept under wraps by senior church dignitaries. But in the pursuit of justice, the Church’s inactivity eventually prompted the victims of child abuse to take matters into their own hands.
"For too long the Church has denied, ignored and hushed up abuse. The victims are entitled to justice." In September 2018, Cardinal Reinhard Marx, head of the German Bishops’ Conference, uttered these words and apologized to all victims of sexual abuse by Catholic officials in Germany. But Matthias Katsch, one of the most prominent representatives of victims in Germany, maintains that the Church’s handling of abuse remains problematic even now. A former pupil at the private Canisius-Kolleg school and spokesperson for the "Squared Table” victims’...

German Cardinal’s resignation offer sends shockwaves through the Catholic Church | DW News
Germany's most senior cleric has offered his resignation to Pope Francis. Munich's Cardinal Reinhard Marx said that he wanted to share responsibility for what he called the "catastrophe of sexual abuse" by members of the Catholic church. Marx has long been a leading voice in the call for church reforms. Those calls have been growing louder as sex abuse investigations revealed a decades-long cover-up by the clergy.
Marx said investigations and reports of the past 10 years showed him there had not only been "a lot of personal failure and administrative errors," but "also institutional and systemic failure" within the Catholic Church.
Recent discussions had shown "that some in the church do not want to acknowledge this element of co-responsibility and thus also complicity of the institution...

Protestant Tours STUNNING Catholic Church (Cantius Part 1)
This might be one of the coolest things I've done. In today's video, we're touring St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Chicago, IL. It's an absolutely beautiful church, and Fr. Why Be Catholic and Not Just Christian?
There are many similarities and differences between the Catholic Church and the Protestant denominations. In this video, Fr. Mike Schmitz narrows the differences down to one thing that really sets Catholicism apart from other Christian Churches: authoritative teaching.
If you like this video, you may also like Sonja Corbitt's book "Fulfilled: The Biblical Foundations of Catholicism" (https://www.amazon.com/Fulfilled-Uncovering-Biblical-Foundations-Catholicism/dp/1945179287).

A former pupil at the private Canisius-Kolleg school and spokesperson for the "Squared Table” victims’ initiative uncovered the abuse scandal in the Catholic Church in Germany in 2010. For over thirty years, his abusers’ crimes had stayed covered up. Then, Matthias Katsch and his former classmates broke the silence when they turned to the public with accusations against their former teachers - Jesuit priests Peter R. and Wolfgang S. And what happened next? Not much, it seems. Both men were spotted in Chile after 2010. Impatient with the lack of progress, Matthias Katsch took matters into his own hands and set out to Chile to find the abusers - and their next victims. Filmmaker Eva Müller went with him.

Recent discussions had shown "that some in the church do not want to acknowledge this element of co-responsibility and thus also complicity of the institution and are therefore opposed to any reform and renewal dialogue in connection with the abuse crisis," he wrote in a letter to the pope dated May 21 and published on Friday by his archdiocese in Munich.
The archdiocese said in its press release on the issue that Pope Francis had since responded to Cardinal Marx, telling him that he could make the letter public, and to remain in his role until he received an answer.

About me:
Hey! My name is Austin, and I'm a 21 year old guy with a passion for people. I believe the good news is that God is better than we could've ever hoped, and I love sharing this message of grace and love with anyone that will listen. I'm the former Digital Marketing and Video Production Coordinator at a large, evangelical church in Frederick, MD, and I'm currently a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. When I'm not writing papers or making YouTube videos, I do freelance work as a Wedding Photographer/Videographer and social media consultant. On any given day you can find me with my nose in a book or a guitar in my hands. Want to get to know me more? Follow me and say hi on Instagram at: @austin.suggs
