Rolls-Royce Lady Mascot
The Spirit of Ecstasy, also called "Emily", "Silver Lady" or "Flying Lady", was designed by Charles Robinson Sykes and carries with it a story about a secret passion between John Walter Edward Scott-Montagu, (second Lord Montagu of Beaulieu after 1905, a pioneer of the automobile movement, and editor of The Car magazine from 1902) and his secret love and the model for the emblem, Eleanor Velasco Thornton. Eleanor was John Walter's secretary, and their love was to remain hidden, limited to their circle of friends, for more than a decade. The reason for the secrecy was Eleanor's impoverished social and economic status, which was an obstacle to their love. John-Walter, succumbing to family pressures, married Lady Cecil Victoria Constance, but the secret love affair continued. Eleanor died on 30th December 1915, going down with the SS Persia, when the ship was torpedoed off Crete by a German submarine, whilst she accompanied Lord Montagu on his journey to India, four years after she had been immortalized by her bereaved lover. JOHN NOBLE: NEW FRINGE EPISODES WILL BRING REVELATIONS
Fringe has been away on a brief break, and its Winter finale ended on a cliffhanger that made the break feel far too long for Fringe addicts. But fear not, Fringeaholics new episodes are coming soon! The first new episode arrives on Thursday, April 1, and it takes us back to 1985, where we meet a younger, pre-institutionalized Dr. Walter Bishop and go back to the very origins of the Fringe mythology. In our exclusive interview with John Noble, he talks about the episode and the types of revelations we can expect to see. We also talk about how Walters progressed this season, the challenges of playing such a peculiar character, and maybe even a little hint of things to come as Fringe moves toward its second season finale. The Fringe Spring premiere is Thursday, April 1 at 9/8c on Fox.

JFK Assassination (CBS Coverage) - Part 2/10 (1963)
RIP Walter Cronkite 1916-2009 From Wikipedia: Cronkite is vividly remembered by many Americans for breaking the news of the death of President Kennedy on Friday, November 22, 1963. Cronkite had been standing at the United Press International wire machine in the CBS newsroom as the bulletin of the President's shooting broke and clamored to get on the air to break the news. However, cameras were not ready for use and Cronkite would be forced to break the news without them while one warmed up. At 1:40 pm, a "CBS News Bulletin" bumper slide broke into the live broadcast of As the World Turns (ATWT). Over the slide, Cronkite began reading: "Here is a bulletin from CBS News. In Dallas, Texas, three shots were fired at President Kennedy's motorcade in downtown Dallas. The first reports say that President Kennedy has been seriously wounded by this shooting." A second bulletin arrived as Cronkite was reading the first one, which detailed the severity of President Kennedy's wounds: "More details just arrived. These details about the same as previously...President Kennedy shot today just as his motorcade left downtown Dallas. Mrs. Kennedy jumped up and grabbed Mr. Kennedy, she called "Oh no!," the motorcade sped on. United Press [International] says that the wounds for President Kennedy perhaps could be fatal. Repeating, a bulletin from CBS News: President Kennedy has been shot by a would-be assassin in Dallas, Texas. Stay tuned to CBS News for further details." Just before the ...

The Walter Payton Game - Bryan Robinson blocks field goal
After the Bears lost starting quarterback Cade McNown to a knee injury on their second possession, backup Jim Miller threw three second-quarter interceptions and had a fourth nullified by a penalty. But Miller rebounded in the second half to pass for 120 yards, including a six-yard touchdown to Bobby Engram that gave the Bears a 14-10 lead late in the third quarter. After the Packers closed the gap to 14-13, Bears kicker Chris Boniol missed a 34-yard field goal attempt with 5:56 remaining in the fourth period. Green Bay then advanced deep into Bears territory before Bryan Robinson blocked Ryan Longwell's 28-yard field goal try on the final play to preserve the win. The victory enabled the Bears to snap a 10-game losing streak to the Packers. It came six days after Walter Payton passed away. After his heroic play, Robinson said: "I think Walter Payton actually picked me up a little bit and boosted me up in the air because I can't jump that high. Walter had a lot to do with it. I know he did."

As of September 24, 2010, we are now based in Southern California with office and lab space. Our objective is clear, regardless of all possible applications, to develop a 15 Kilowatt standalone electrical generator. Preliminary research has been encouraging and is the basis for this venture. Based on past experiences, to develop a fully operational SEG will require at least $3 million of resources involving skilled and experienced personnel, to pay their labor, buildings and rent for the facilities, heavy machinery, test equipment, energy to run the equipment, legal support services, shipping, raw materials, licensing, etc. This is the reality of running a research and development program to develop a manufacturing prototype. However, even without the appropriate funds, the Searl worldwide and growing organization will precede by al l means possible and progress will continue regardless. Walter Dix
Walter Dix (born January 31, 1986) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 100 meters and 200 meters. He is the seventh fastest 200 m runner with a best of 19.69 seconds, and has broken the 10-second barrier in the 100 m with a best of 9.88 seconds. Dix was a highly successful amateur athlete, setting a state record in the 100 m and trying out for the US Olympic Team at the age of eighteen. He joined Florida State University and in his first year he broke the 100 m American junior record and won at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. After a fourth place finish at the 2005 US Championships, Dix continued with his collegiate success, setting a NCAA record of 19.69 seconds in the 200 m and coming within one hundredth of the 100 m record. He completed a 100 m, 200 m, and 4×100 meter relay sweep at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Championships, the first to do so since John Carlos. He closed his amateur career in 2008: another NCAA 200 m title made him the third most decorated track athlete in NCAA history, and he won gold and silver at the 2008 US Olympic Trials. Dix turned professional in mid-2008, signing a multi-million dollar contract with Nike. He reached the Olympic finals in the 100 and 200 m, and won two bronze medals; the only American track athlete to win two individual medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He suffered an injury at the 2009 US Championships, thus missing out on the World Championships, and a contract dispute with his agent resulted in only a handful of ...
