Lynyrd Skynyrd-Free bird
Awesome guitar solo at the end If I leave here tomorrow Would you still remember me? For I must be travelling on, now, cause theres too many places Ive got to see. But, if I stayed here with you, girl, Things just couldnt be the same. cause Im as free as a bird now, And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I cant change. Bye, bye, its been a sweet love. Though this feeling I cant change. But please dont take it badly, cause lord knows Im to blame. But, if I stayed here with you girl, Things just couldnt be the same. Cause Im as free as a bird now, And this bird youll never change. And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I cant change. Lord help me, I cant change (AWESOME GUITAR SOLO)

Lynyrd Skynyrd FreeBird [HQ] (LIVE) 1977
- July 4'th 1977, Oakland, great quality. "Free Bird" (also spelled "Freebird") is a song by the American southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was first featured on the band's debut album (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd) in 1973, and has been included on subsequent albums released by the band. Released as a single in November 1974, "Free Bird" became the band's second Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in early 1975, where it peaked at No. 19. A live version of the song also reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1977, peaking at No. 38. Free Bird also achieved the No. 3 spot on Guitar World's 100 Greatest Guitar Solos. It is used as a finale by Lynyrd Skynyrd during their live performances, and is their longest song, often going well over 14 minutes when played live. The lyrical portion of the song was written early in the group's history. Roadie Billy Powell was discovered as a keyboardist for the band when he played the intro piece to "Free Bird" at a high school prom. Lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant noted his talent and invited him to join. Allen Collins's then-girlfriend, Kathy, whom he later married, asked him, "If I leave here tomorrow would you still remember me?" Collins jotted the question down and it eventually became the opening line of "Free Bird". Gary Rossington played a Gibson SG and used a glass Coricidin bottle for a slide on this song to emulate one of his heroes, Duane Allman. This was the only song he used a guitar other than a Les Paul on ...

Whiskey bottles, and brand new cars Oak tree you're in my way There's too much coke and too much smoke Look what's going on inside you Ooooh that smell Can't you smell that smell Ooooh that smell The smell of death surrounds you Angel of darkness is upon you Stuck a needle in your arm So take another toke, have a blow for your nose One more drink fool, will drown you Ooooh that smell Can't you smell that smell Ooooh that smell The smell of death surrounds you Now they call you Prince Charming Can't speak a word when you're full of 'ludes Say you'll be all right come tomorrow But tomorrow might not be here for you Ooooh that smell Can't you smell that smell Ooooh that smell The smell of death surrounds you Hey, you're a fool you Stick them needles in your arm I know I been there before One little problem that confronts you Got a monkey on your back Just one more fix, Lord might do the trick One hell of a price for you to get your kicks Ooooh that smell Can't you smell that smell Ooooh that smell The smell of death surrounds you Ooooh that smell Can't you smell that smell Ooooh that smell The smell of death surrounds you

A Lingua sabe a Pan

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Three Steps (live '76)
Lynyrd Skynyrd is performing "Gimme Three Steps" live in Knebworth Fair Hertfordshire, England. The date is August 21th 1977. Personally this is one of my favourite Skynyrd tune. Love the text and I'm happy for Ronne Van Zant that he managed to flee! Ronnie Van Zant is singing about when he was facing trouble in the bar called "The Little Brown Jug" (the Jug). He was dancing (cutting a rug) with Linda Lu, when her boyfriend showed up. And he wasn't that kind to Ronnie... The text is based on a true story that Ronnie was experienced in the middle of the 60s. Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins wrote the song the same night as Ronnie was facing trouble in the bar. Listen to the text and just enjoy the song (: Gimme Three Steps is covered in Lynyrd Skynyrds' first album - (pronounced 'lĕh-'nérd 'skin-'nérd). Gimme Three Steps live song text; I was cutting the rug Down at a place called The Jug With a girl named Linda Lu When in walked a man With a gun in his hand Looking for you know who. He said, "Hey there fellow, With the hair colored yellow, Watcha tryin' to prove? 'Cause that's my woman there And I'm a man who cares So this might be all for you." I said "excuse me" I was scared and fearing for my life. Shakin' like a leaf on a tree. 'Cause he was lean, mean, Big and bad, Lord, Pointin' that gun at me. Ohh "Wait a minute, mister, I didn't even kiss her. Don't want no trouble with you. And I know you don't owe me But I wish you would let me Ask one favor from you." "Won't ...
