The Tourist - Interview w/ Angelina Jolie
Truly one of my favorite actors, Angelina Jolie, sits down with me to discuss her new movie The Tourist as well as some pressing world issues such as the situation in Haiti. Watch this exclusive interview from the Le Meurice Hotel in Paris France. Johnny Depp stars as an American tourist whose playful dalliance with a stranger leads to a web of intrigue, romance and danger in The Tourist. During an impromptu trip to Europe to mend a broken heart, Frank (Depp) unexpectedly finds himself in a flirtatious encounter with Elise (Angelina Jolie), an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Paris and Venice, their whirlwind romance quickly evolves as they find themselves unwittingly thrust into a deadly game of cat and mouse. Academy Award® and three-time Golden Globe winner ANGELINA JOLIE (Elise Clifton Ward) continues to be one of Hollywood's most talented leading actresses. Most recently, Jolie starred in the hit action thriller Salt. Prior to that, Jolie starred in Clint Eastwood's acclaimed film Changeling, for which she received an Academy Award® nomination for Best Actress, as well as nominations from the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, British Academy of Film and Television Arts, Broadcast Film Critics, London Film Critics and Chicago Film Critics. This is a beautiful film and the scenery is gorgeous; it was shot in the exact spot where the legendary Paikea came ashore. The acting was excellent. Keisha Castle-Hughes was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress of which she was the youngest female ever nominated in the Best Actress category. She didn't win that award but in 2004, she did win the Best Actress award at the Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards.

The Eve Arden Show: Cover Girl - Season 1, Episode 3 (1957)
DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchived.blogspot.com The Eve Arden Show was a sitcom which aired during the 1957-1958 television season on CBS, alternately sponsored by Lever Brothers and Shulton, Inc. (Old Spice). The show, starring Eve Arden, was about a widowed mother of two daughters who earns money from writing books. It also featured future Aunt Bee, Frances Bavier, as Arden's mother, and Allyn Joslyn as George Howell, her agent (and potential boyfriend). Unsuccessful and lasting only 26 episodes, the show was forgotten until four episodes were released on DVD on February 26, 2008 by Alpha Video. The series was produced for Arden's Westhaven Enterprises by Desilu. Eve Arden (April 30, 1908 -- November 12, 1990) was an American actress. Her almost 60-year career crossed most media frontiers with supporting and leading roles, but she is perhaps best remembered for playing the sardonic but engaging high school teacher in the classic Our Miss Brooks (radio and television), and as the Rydell High School principal in the films Grease and Grease 2. Her film career began in earnest in 1937 when she appeared in the films Oh Doctor and Stage Door. Her Stage Door portrayal of a fast-talking, witty supporting character, gained Arden considerable notice and was to be a template for many of Arden's future roles. Her many memorable screen roles include a supporting role as Joan Crawford's wise-cracking friend, Ida, in 1945's Mildred Pierce (for which she received an Academy Award ...
