Common Signs and Symptoms of Arthritis
www.megavista-health.com There are several types of arthritis, the most prevalent of which are rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is also known as degenerative joint disease, and it is associated with aging. The primary identifiable cause of osteoarthritis is wear and tear on the joints, which naturally occurs with the aging process. www.megavista-health.com Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation of and damage to the joints. Rheumatoid arthritis commonly appears in middle age, and is far more common in women than in men. There does not seem to be a correlation between certain ethnic or racial groups and the prevalence of rheumatoid arthritis, and it can also affect children and young adults. www.megavista-health.com Psoriatic arthritis is characterized by inflammation of the skin and joints. Psoriasis is a common skin disorder that causes inflammation of the skin. When the inflammation also affects the joints, it is known as psoriatic arthritis. About 10% of patients with psoriasis will develop psoriatic arthritis. This systemic, rheumatic disease can also cause inflammation in areas other than the skin and joints, such as the eyes, heart, kidneys, or even the lungs. www.megavista-health.com Clearly, the most common identifiable sign of arthritis is chronic pain in the affected area. Arthritis is frequently associated with pain and stiffness in joints, particularly joints that have suffered a previous injury. Pain and ...

Dr Whiting On Arthritis
phoenixnutritionals.com (CLICK HERE) Arthritis is a progressive chronic degenerative condition caused by the bodys inability to replace lost cartilage. In the early stages such things as sports injuries to a particular joint or an accident that has damaged one or more joints may cause arthritis, but in the vast majority of cases, arthritis is the result of a breakdown of protein absorption and a lack of key essential minerals needed to repair and maintain connective tissue strength. Exercise plays a major role in keeping the body flexible. Exercise and arthritis can often be uncomfortable but exercise for the arthritis sufferer is essential. You should begin with only what you can comfortably do, but slowly try and increase both duration and resistance of the exercise. By exercising, we can keep the joints and especially the connective, supportive tissues flexible. The best time to gain control over the arthritis process is as early on in the disease process as possible. The longer arthritis ravages the joints of the body, the greater the potential permanent damage that can occur. Almost all arthritic conditions begin with the inability for the body to replace worn cartilage. Every time you move a joint, the friction of the bones on the cartilage wears microscopic amounts of cartilage tissue away. This is normal and causes no problem as long as the body is able to replace the cartilage tissue at the same rate it is worn away. When we are young, this is usually not a ...

Neck Pain Relief Treatment, Arthritis, Headaches, Sciatica & Chiropractic Care Austin
Visit our website: www.PsycheTruth.net Neck Pain Relief Treatment, Arthritis, Headaches, Sciatica & Chiropractic Care Austin Learn about neck pain relief in this free video. Dr. Echols is a Chiropractor in Austin, Texas. After discussing how neck pain and can cause arthritic pain or carpal tunnel symptoms, headaches, sciatica and worse, Dr. Echols gives Corrina a gentle neck adjustment to align the spine correctly. This is neck adjustment demonstration, though misalignments in the neck can easily cause pain in the shoulder, arms, wrists, hands, etc. Chiropractic pillows, cushions and other items may also help to relieve tension. Pain relief medications may help you deal with pain but they do not address the structural or alignment issues causing the pain. While exercise, yoga and other fitness is an important component of keeping the body aligned and healthy, they are not enough alone and if you have persistent pain issues, Dr. Echols would recommend seeing a professional to address the underlying issues. Chiropractic remedies address these underlying issues. Back pain can have many different causes. Poor posture, injuries, car accidents and simple day-to-day living can cause structural issues, sciatica or sciatic nerve pain, pinched nerves, bulging or herniated discs and worse.
