McDonalds Monologue :D
McDonalds Monologue :D
PLEASE read this before you post any questions, and/or stupid statements. Seriously. Haha. I put a modern twist on this monologue. :D For those of you who aren't familiar with the magical world of theatre, haha, a monologue is pretty much acting with one person. It's just one long speech or paragraph that a person acts out by themselves. Sometimes they are talking to another person, and sometimes they are having a conversation with themselves. SO. I added some dialogue at the beginning with a blinged-out ghetto customer to put a comedic twist on it. Hope you like it. :) I found this monologue on Google. Yaaaaay! Despite expectations that he would out-do his insult-ridden monologue from last year, this year's opening was a fairly lame affair. There were many hurt feeling after last year and it took some special diplomacy to get him to return HFPA President Takla-O'Reilly helped work through the sour feelings of some of the 83 members of her organization over last year's Gervais performance. She flew to Paris last summer to meet the comedian (who co-created the British original version of television's "The Office") and helped pave the way for his return to the Globes.

Crayola Monologues
Crayola Monologues
www.nathangibbs.com Crayola Monologues (2003) uses the crayon as a human metaphor for exploring color and identity in the United States. This animated video features crayons expressing how color hierarchies have shaped their lives. These crayons live in a world much like our own, complete with prejudice, class boundaries, social hierarchies and those who fall between the lines. Crayola Monologues also reveals the politics behind Crayola label changes, and gives a voice to the previously unheard perspective of crayons. Created by Nathan Gibbs
