Jon Wiener
Jon Wiener is an American historian and journalist based in Los Angeles. He is notable for waging a successful 25-year legal battle to win the release of the FBI's files on John Lennon. Wiener played a key role in efforts to expose the surveillance as well as the behind-the-scenes battling between the government and the former Beatle, and is a recognized expert on the FBI-versus-Lennon controversy. A professor emeritus of United States history at the University of California, Irvine, he is also a contributing editor to the left-leaning political weekly magazine The Nation and host of The Nation's weekly podcast, "Start Making Sense." He also hosts a weekly radio program in Los Angeles. In addition to being an advocate for liberal causes and transparency in government, he wrote two books about Lennon, and has described Lennon's song "Imagine" as being a "hymn to idealism" with relevance today. He has been criticized by reporters for having a left-oriented bias in his books, sometimes leading to a revisionism regarding Lennon's political orientation. Wiener interviewed Gore Vidal many times, and recently published a book of interviews with the late celebrity which spanned many years.

Gore Vidal
Gore Vidal (/ˌɡɔːr vᵻˈdɑːl/; born Eugene Louis Vidal; 3 October 1925 – 31 July 2012) was an American writer (of novels, essays, screenplays, and stage plays) and a public intellectual known for his patrician manner, epigrammatic wit, and polished style of writing.
As Eugene Louis Vidal, he was born to a political family; his maternal grandfather, Thomas Pryor Gore, served as United States senator from Oklahoma (1907–21 and 1931–37). As Gore Vidal, he was a Democratic Party politician who twice sought elected office; first to the United States House of Representatives (New York State, 1960), then to the U.S. Senate (California, 1982).
As a political commentator and essayist, Vidal's principal subject was the history of the United States and its society, especially how the militaristic foreign policy of the National Security State reduced the country to decadent empire. His political and cultural essays were published in The Nation, the New Statesman, the New York Review of Books, and Esquire magazines. As a public intellectual, Gore Vidal's topical debates on sex, politics, and religion with other public intellectuals and writers, occasionally became continual quarrels with the likes of William F. Buckley Jr. and Norman Mailer. As such, and because he thought that men and women potentially are bisexual, Vidal rejected the adjectives "homosexual" and "heterosexual" when used as nouns, as inherently false terms used to classify and control people in society.

John Cena
John Felix Anthony Cena (/ˈsiːnə/; born April 23, 1977) is an American professional wrestler, rapper and an actor signed to WWE, but is on hiatus due to injury as of February 2016. Cena is credited by WWE as the public face of that organization, and has served as its franchise player since 2005.
Cena started his pro wrestling career in 1999 with Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW), and won its heavyweight title the following year. Cena signed a developmental contract with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, later renamed to WWE) in 2001, debuting on the main roster in 2002. As of February 2016, Cena has won 24 championships, with 15 reigns as a world champion; he has won the WWE Championship/WWE World Heavyweight Championship a record of 12 times and the World Heavyweight Championship three times (WWE.com has repeatedly described him as a 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion), Cena also had five reigns as United States Champion, and four reigns as world tag team champion (two World Tag Team and two WWE Tag Team). Furthermore, he is a 2012 Money in the Bank ladder match winner, a two-time Royal Rumble winner (2008, 2013), and a three-time Superstar of the Year Slammy Award winner (2009, 2010, 2012).

Eugene Luther Gore Vidal (/ˌɡɔr vɨˈdɑːl/; born Eugene Louis Vidal, October 3, 1925 -- July 31, 2012) was an American writer known for his essays, novels, screenplays, and Broadway plays. As a well-known public intellectual, he was known for his patrician manner and witty aphorisms. Vidal's grandfather was the U.S. Senator Thomas Gore of Oklahoma.
Vidal was a lifelong Democrat; he ran for political office twice and was a longtime political commentator. As well known for his essays as his novels, Vidal wrote for The Nation, New Statesman, the New York Review of Books and Esquire. Vidal's major subject was America, and through his essays and media appearances he was a longtime critic of American foreign policy. He developed this into a portrayal of the United States as a decaying empire from the 1980s onwards. He was also known for his well-publicized spats with such figures as Norman Mailer, William F. Buckley, Jr., and Truman Capote.
His most widely regarded social novel was Myra Breckinridge; his best known historical novels included Julian, Burr, and Lincoln. His third novel, The City and the Pillar (1948), outraged conservative critics as one of the first major American novels to feature unambiguous homosexuality. Vidal always rejected the terms of "homosexual" and "heterosexual" as inherently false, claiming that the vast majority of individuals had the potential to be pansexual. His screenwriting credits included the epic historical drama Ben-Hur (1959), into which he claimed he had written a "gay subplot." Ben-Hur won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
At the time of his death, he was the last of a generation of American writers who had served during World War II, including J. D. Salinger, Kurt Vonnegut, Norman Mailer, and Joseph Heller. Perhaps best remembered for his caustic wit, he has been described as the 20th century's answer to Oscar Wilde.

Wolfgang Hohlbein 15. August 1953 in Weimar ist der deutscher Schriftsteller in den Genres Horror-, Science-Fiction- und Fantasyliteratur. Mit rund 43 Millionen verkauften Büchern zählt er zu den erfolgreichsten Autoren Deutschlands. Sein Durchbruch gelang ihm 1982 mit dem zusammen mit seiner Frau verfassten Roman Märchenmond Wolfgang Hohlbein lebt in Neuss.
Hohlbein wuchs in Meerbusch-Osterath in Nordrhein-Westfalen auf. Schon als Jugendlicher begann er, fantastische Geschichten zu schreiben. Nach der Schulzeit machte er eine Ausbildung zum Industriekaufmann.
Ernsthaft zu schreiben begann er aus Langeweile bei einer Anstellung als Nachtwächter. Nach eigener Aussage wurde diese Leidenschaft durch die Romane von Karl May ausgelöst. Anfangs schrieb er Kurzgeschichten, danach Horrorromane und Wildwestromane. Er veröffentlichte seine Werke unter zahlreichen Pseudonymen und bekam 1980 von Karl-Ulrich Burgdorf den Ratschlag, Manuskripte für die Heftreihe Professor Zamorra des Bastei-Verlages einzureichen. Dort erschienen dann auch seine ersten professionell veröffentlichten Arbeiten.
Märchenmond als Durchbruch
1982 erfuhr er vom Wettbewerb des Ueberreuter-Verlags für Fantastik und Science-Fiction. Er sandte das von ihm verfasste Manuskript des Fantasy-Romans Märchenmond ein, das auf der Grundidee seiner Frau beruhte. Märchenmond gewann den ersten Preis. Der Roman wurde noch mehrfach mit Publikumspreisen ausgezeichnet, wie dem „Phantastik-Preis der Stadt Wetzlar" und dem „Preis der Leseratten". Das Buch wurde national und international ein großer Erfolg und verhalf Hohlbein zum Durchbruch als Schriftsteller. Märchenmond wurde 2006 als erstes seiner Bücher in den USA veröffentlicht und 2010 in Hildesheim als Musical uraufgeführt

Em 1981, um ano após o assassinato de Lennon, em Nova York, o professor Jonathan M. Wiener, da Universidade da Califórnia, entrou na Justiça norte-americana para tentar ter acesso a esses arquivos. Em 1984, ele lançou o livro "Come Together: John Lennon in His Time" (inédito no Brasil), em que comentava o assunto.
A Justiça deu ganho de causa a Wiener e, em 1997, o FBI tornou público grande parte de suas investigações -que se mostraram completamente infundadas.
As suspeitas contra o músico surgiram em 1966, quando Lennon deu a famosa declaração de que os Beatles eram maiores do que Jesus Cristo, o que irritou parte da imprensa e setores conservadores dos EUA.
Dois anos depois, Lennon e Yoko Ono foram presos em Londres por porte de drogas. Na mesma época, estudantes protestavam nos EUA contra a Guerra do Vietnã.
Amizades do casal com ativistas de esquerda, como Angela Davis, caem na mira do FBI. Segundo um relatório do órgão, Lennon teria doado US$ 75 mil a um grupo anti-Partido Republicano. Além disso, dizia a polícia federal norte-americana, ele teria mandado mensagens de rádio a uma emissora vietnamita e estaria conspirando para que Richard Nixon não conseguisse a reeleição para presidente. Todas as acusações são inverídicas.
Devido à detenção por porte de drogas, o FBI tentou deportar Lennon e Yoko. Apenas em 1976 o casal ganhou o direito de permanecer no país.
Ainda há dez páginas de investigações sobre John Lennon não divulgadas. Segundo o FBI, isso se dá porque "comprometeriam outros governos".

The error was the result of a faulty gas line which was dispensing nitrous oxide at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. A doctor discovered the problem after the baby died unexpectedly ...
