China-pop original "bad girl" 中华流行融合歌后Irene 葉璦菱Mandopop Diva C-pop Tribute
China-pop original "bad girl" 中华流行融合歌后Irene 葉璦菱Mandopop Diva C-pop Tribute
Irene Yeh Ailing 叶瑷菱pop queen bridges the C-pop generation that stretches between the modern pop-rock-hip hop-r&b a decade here into the new millenium, and the old-school folk-pop rock and big-band ballad crooning Mandopop standards from the Taiwan scene of the 1960-70's. Irene Yeh broke into the spotlight in the mid-1980's with her smash-hit songs I LOVE YOU 我爱你and MY HEART IS CLOSED FOR BUSINESS 我心已打烊, continued a path of memorable and racy songs. This is a video-medley of a few of her many hits that I've put together as a 25 year commemorative for this great diva of Mandopop; Irene Yeh was certainly the most prominent so-called bad-girls of C-pop of the 1980's with her passionate and racy lyrics singing, although she may not have been so prominently featured in the spotlight as with the likes of Mandopop-rock queens such as Julie Hsu 苏瑞and Bili 芘莉. I also make this a special dedication to all the good-natured and beautiful-hearted friends here in Youtube-world who are here to do two things: HAVE FUN, and help set the record straight (that which is made crooked by the abusers and special-agenda pervs of our free speech). Note: Irene Yeh's name can be spelled in English with the old Wade-Giles method as Yeh Ai-ling, or the modern Hanyu pinyin method as Ye Ailing. Songs in this video music medley are in the following order: 1) I Love You 2) Be Beautiful 3) Do the Lambada 4) Do You Know Me? 5) The Sunshine Samba [with that famous hook from Blondie's "Rapture ...
