Mahavidya Chinnamasta
is one of the Mahavidyas, ten Tantric goddesses and a ferocious aspect of Devi, the Hindu Divine Mother. Chinnamasta can be easily identified by her fearsome iconography. The self-decapitated goddess holds her own severed head in one hand, a scimitar in another. Three jets of blood spurt out of her bleeding neck and are drunk by her severed head and two attendants. Chhinnamasta is usually depicted standing on a copulating couple. Chhinnamasta is associated with the concept of self-sacrifice as well as the awakening of the kundalini -- spiritual energy. She is considered both as a symbol of self-control on sexual desire as well as an embodiment of sexual energy, depending upon interpretation. She symbolizes both aspects of Devi: a life-giver and a life-taker. Video created by Julie Surya Mayee Hill. Made from images found on Google images. Mantra by Harish Johari.

Das Mahavidyas
Dasa Mahavidyas The Dasa(Ten) Mahavidyas In Tantra, worship of Devi-Shakti is referred to as a Vidya. Of the hundreds of tantrik practices, the worship of the ten major Devis is called the Dasa Mahavidya. These major forms of the goddess are described in the Todala Tantra. They are Kali, Tara, Maha Tripura Sundari (or Shodasi-Sri Vidya), Bhuvaneshvari, Chinnamasta, Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Bagalamukhi, Matangi, and Kamala. These ten aspects of Shakti are the epitome of the entire creation. There are several "levels" at which these Devis can be worshiped with the prescribed Mantra and Yantra. Like a simple worship of the yantra with the mantra recitation, as a remedial astrological measure, elaborate worship with all tantrak rituals for attaining various siddhis associated with these tantras and for spiritual salvation. Successful sadhana of these Vidyas gives several boons to the practitioner. The Tantrik-Yogi who has control over his senses and positively inclined uses the boons to guide people and for the benefit of mankind.

Tantric Mantra of Goddess Tara (Mahavidya)
The Goddess Tara's "main mantra, her bij (seed) syllable, is OM. She possesses a longer 5 syllable mantra: OM HRIM STRIM HUM PHAT! OM is the mantra of deliverance (Taraka Mantra). HRIM is a mantra of purification and transformation. STRIM is the feminine nature (stri) and gives the power to give birth and sustenance. HUM is the mantra of divine wrath and protection, as well as knowledge and perceptive power. PHAT also gives protection and destroys obstacles." Vamadeva Shastri-David Frawley. "Tantric Yoga and the Wisdom Goddesses." Many are familiar with the Green and White Goddess Tara in Tibetan Buddhism, who is a saviouress from fear and suffering, and a Goddess of Compassion. She originates from the Indian Hindu Goddess Tara--who is a Mahavidya Tantric Goddess of fiercer form (very similar in iconography to Kali) but still embodies compassion and protection to her devotees. Included in the video images are forms of both the fierce Hindu/Tantric forms of Tara, as well as the Tibetan Images of her. Also you will see Yantras, which are geometrical meditational images, designed to take you directly into the archetypal essence the goddess represents, beyond the human form. Note the powerful mantra "PHAT' has varying pronunciations according to region. Some begin the mantra with a soft, aspirated, "puh" (as here), and other begin it with more of a regular "F" sound. Enjoy your meditation and receive the blessings of TARA! Namaste, SoulDharma-Shivanand You can order a CD with ...

Original video by Kaulantak Peeth- Edited by ShaktipatSeer2 www.youtube.com "Uchchhishta Chanadalini Mantra" guidlines by- Kaulantak Peethadheeshwar Maha Yogi Satyendra Nath Ji Maharaj. The mantra is-"om nreem treem hreem kreem hum uchchhisht chaandaliniyei namha." Matangi is one of the Mahavidyas, ten Tantric goddesses and a ferocious aspect of Devi, the Hindu Divine Mother. She is considered as the Tantric form of Sarasvati, the goddess of music and learning. Like Sarasvati, Matangi governs speech, music, knowledge and the arts. Her worship is prescribed to acquire supernatural powers, especially gaining control over enemies, attracting people to oneself, acquiring mastery over the arts and gaining supreme knowledge. The green complexion is associated with deep knowledge and is also the colour the presiding deity of the planet Mercury who governs intelligence. Tantric Tara Mantra(New)-Ten Mahavidyas
MANTRA : -- Ayeim Hreem Shreem Kleem Souh Hoom Ugra Taare phat Mantra 2 :- AIM AUM HREEM KREEM HOOM PHAT Tara is quite well known through Her Tibetan manifestations, but some are unaware of the important position She occupies in the Hindu tantrik pantheon. She is the second of the ten Mahavidyas. Some have attempted to separate the Hindu Tara from the Tibetan Tara, but there is little doubt that She is the same Devi. This is shown in a reference to Tara in the Hindu Tantrarajatantra, where Her mantra is given as Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha -- identical to the Tibetan version. Here Tara takes her form as Kurukulla. The various other forms are given in Brihad Nila Tantra and Devirahasya, under the names Nilasarasvati, Aniruddha Sarasvati, Ugra Tara, Tarini. Nilasarasvati gives as the fruit of worshipping Her poesy and eloquence. This, aside from clearly relating Nilasarasvati to White Sarasvati, also points to this Goddess being the Shakti of the Letters of the Alphabet, the Matrika Shakti. She has an important role in Tantrik cosmology because mantra, words, music are considered to be the very source of the cosmos. As Matrika Shakti She deludes the entire human race with Her Maya of letters, and words. This has been expressed in a Tantrik form, but, practically speaking, it is sufficient to say that much hypnosis (Maya) comes about via the medium of words. Millions of people have lost their lives through this power. Thus Her power and place in the Tantrik pantheon is quite ...

DASHA MAHAVIDYA MA
To stop the devastation of the universe Goddess UMA appreared in 10 different forms to stop the wrath of SHIVA. Shiva could not recongnise her and Goddess made him realise that she is her consort and need not worry. The firece forms of Goddess were suficient to sopt the destruction the universe was going to face. Kali was standing in front of Siva, Tara on His forehead, Chinnamasta on His right, Bhuvaneswari on His left, and Bagala on His back side. Dhumavati, Kamala, Matangi and Shodashi obstructed Siva from his agneya, nairuta, vayu and ishana directions, respectively. The Sakti who talked with Siva directly was Bhairavi. Acknowledgement: We are greateful to Rudra Center, Saikiran Sharma and all contributors for their unparalleled contribution in spreading this rare form of worship, may Goddess bless them all! I am reminded that Ma belongs to all so we need to spread the ethos by all means so I wish Aahee the best wishes to all contributors!
