William "Will" McDonough (July 6, 1935–January 9, 2003) was an American sportswriter for the Boston Globe.
The youngest of nine children of Irish immigrants, McDonough grew up in working-class South Boston. He attended The English High School, where he starred in baseball as a pitcher and in High school football|football]] as a quarterback. After graduating from Northeastern University, McDonough started at the Boston Globe as an intern / copy boy in 1955 and was promoted to sportswriter in 1960, working for many years with other legendary Globe sportswriters such as Peter Gammons, Bob Ryan, and Leigh Montville.
McDonough became a hero among Boston sportswriters after a 1979 altercation with Patriots cornerback Raymond Clayborn, in which the 44-year-old McDonough leveled Clayborn in the locker room after the third-year cornerback had poked him in the eye.
His appearances included stints as part of NBC's NFL Live pregame show from 1991-1993.
He regularly referred to Roger Clemens as the "Texas Con Man" during Clemens' tenure with the Boston Red Sox.
Fallout 4 is an action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The fifth major installment in the Fallout series, the game was released worldwide on November 10, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
It is set in a post-apocalyptic Boston in the year 2287, 210 years after a devastating nuclear war, in which the player character emerges from an underground bunker known as Vault 111. Gameplay is similar to that of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. The player completes various quests and acquires experience points to level up their character. With first- and third-person perspectives available, players can explore Fallout 4's open world setting at will, allowing nonlinear gameplay. Companions can accompany the player on their voyages to assist them in battles and help with scavenging. Players have the ability to construct and deconstruct buildings and items, and use them to build a settlement, which can attract and be inhabited by non-playable characters.
Will & Grace is an American sitcom created by Max Mutchnick and David Kohan about the relationship between best friends Will Truman (Eric McCormack), a gay lawyer, and Grace Adler (Debra Messing), a straight interior designer. It was broadcast on NBC from September 21, 1998 to May 18, 2006, for a total of eight seasons. During its original run, "Will & Grace" was one of the most successful television series with gay principal characters.
Despite initial criticism for its particular portrayal of homosexual characters, it went on to become a staple of NBC's Must See TV Thursday night lineup and was met with continued critical acclaim. It was ensconced in the Nielsen top 20 for half of its network run. The show was the highest-rated sitcom among adults 18–49, from 2001 and 2005. Throughout its eight-year run, Will & Grace earned 16 Emmy Awards and 83 nominations. All four stars each received an Emmy Award throughout the series, making it one of only three sitcoms in the award's history to achieve this feat. In 2014 the Writers Guild of America placed the sitcom at number 94 in their list of the 101 Best Written TV series of all time

Session Title: The Green Collar Worker We're beginning to realize that all of us aren't just connected by the Internet; we're connected through the things we produce. McDonough, co-author of the seminal "Cradle to Cradle," has for years been a passionate advocate of green supply chains and living buildings. In this session, McDonough will discuss examples where companies have completely rethought their entire process of designing and delivering products to ensure they better mimic the natural world around them.
http://www.ted.com Green-minded architect and designer William McDonough asks what our buildings and products would look like if designers took into account "all children, all species, for all time." Civilization games are about the story of humankind. They task the player to guide society through centuries of progress, governing every aspect of its development, and competing for greatness with the famous figures and cultures of history. The world itself is the character; the nations and leaders and great events are the playing pieces. Players get to upend these stories, rewriting history to tell their own story of what might have been. Traditionally in Civ the lens is turned backwards, looking at our past and the stories that have already been told. In Beyond Earth, we ask the player to tell a new story – the story of humanity’s future. It’s a future that is unknown, but one we believe is fundamentally bright; a story of aspiration, achievement, and accomplishment, where humanity ri...
