Worlds Fastest Helicopter Sikorsky X2
The Sikorsky X2 technology demonstrator unofficially set a new speed record for rotorcraft yesterday, as it reached 250 ktas at the company's development flight center in West Palm Beach, Fla. At the controls was chief test pilot Kevin Bredenbeck. The 250-knot speed was the program's main objective since launch in 2005, and was attained in level flight during a 1.1-hour sortie. Sikorsky's X2, which features contra-rotating coaxial main rotors and a pusher propeller, even reached 260 knots "in a very shallow dive," the helicopter manufacturer added. The vibration level was similar to that of the Black Hawk military transport at its cruise speed of 140 knots, program officials told AIN. Pilot workload was on target, they said, thanks to the fly-by-wire control system. Noise levels on the ground will be measured during two upcoming flights. Another two flights will be conducted with a center hub fairing, which should boost speed by 15 knots.

Mosquito XE - AcDc - Thunderstruck.wmv
Just flying around close to the ground -- to get some good shots of this little "little bird" in action...very agile and easy to fly - least expensive and best value of all single seats on the market today! This helicopter can provide over watch, search & rescue for cash strapped agencies, counter drug & smuggling operations, and the list goes on and on. For only $10 HR in maintenance - plus fuel cost - this is the best by far if you want to fly helicopters! I recommend the factory assist program - great people in Trenton - and you'll walk away knowing more about your rotor-craft than ever before. Thanks to AC DC for providing the music - see credits at end to purchase the song from Amazon.

Helicopter Flight Simulator - Realistic Helicopter Flight Simulation
www.realisticflight.com Because of its popularity, we might think that a helicopter flight simulator game is a new invention. However, flight simulation has been around in the aviation and airplane industry for quite a long time. Flight simulation has been used to train aircraft operators and pilots in the last couple years. By using flight simulation training the aircraft operator can receive a very realistic experience on how to fly an airplane. This is one of the best methods used in the aviation industry because the flying seems so real to the person in training. It is also being used as a tool to help those who fly an aircraft, prepare for an emergency situation that would be the detrimental to everyone's safety. Therefore it is being used as a helicopter flying trainer is nothing new and a secret way to train someone to operate a helicopter. Because the technology has already existed, it has been used as the basis for a helicopter flight simulator game. However, just like a real aircraft operator that has to go through training, it is advised you go through training for your simulation game. If you truly would like a realistic experience flying a helicopter it is advised that you first spend time practicing or training to improve your accuracy during flight. Therefore, it is important to look for a helicopter flight simulator game that offers a training session to get your flying skills up to date. The training session should cover every aspect of helicopter flying ...

Aero-TV: Sandel's SN3500/4500 -- Revolutionary and Reversionary
Versatile Electronic Displays Offer Extensive Reversionary Talents The highly regarded SN3500 Primary Navigation Display is a sunlight readable, ultra-wide-angle LED backlit display which combines advanced navigation capabilities with a full range of safety functions. The offers improved situational awareness by presenting compass, map, flight plan and RMI data in a bright, crisp, easy-to-read format. It is also available with a night vision option. Incorporating the equivalent of a four-inch screen in a three-inch instrument, the SN3500 improves situational awareness by presenting compass, map, flight plan and RMI data in a bright, crisp, easy-to-read format. Now with LED backlighting, our SN3500 is a proven and reliable upgrade. And as a drop-in replacement for your current 3-inch HSI, the SN3500 is both an easy and affordable retrofit for your aircraft or rotorcraft. The new SN4500 4x4 Primary Navigation Display is a bigger cousin to the SN3500 and upgrades the cockpit with the bright, wide-angle display technology found in the latest generation of aircraft. Boasting a high-reliability LED backlight, the SN4500's display outperforms CRT and LCD screens, yielding unprecedented readability and ease of use. Simplifying navigation, the SN4500 also enhances safety with its standard Stormscope, traffic, and datalink weather interfaces. For both these units, Sandel has introduced a 'Reversionary Attitude' for the SN3500 and SN4500 Primary Navigation Displays. With this new ...
