Truth About Jiang Zemin: Part I
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Jiang Zemin's death or illness has led to a dispute in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regarding Jiang's life. Jiang's notorious deeds have attracted attention. NTD will make a series of reports on Jiang's life. Today, we discuss Jiang's betrayals and falsifications. Lü Jiaping from the Chinese Association of WWII History wrote an open letter in Dec. 2009, accusing Jiang of "two betrayals and two falsifications." Addressed to CCP's Central Committee and Hu Jintao, the letter accused Jiang of spying for the Japanese and USSR, and his falsifications of personal and family histories. The letter said, Jiang's father Jiang Shijun worked for the Japanese invaders under the name Jiang Guanqian. He served in a puppet government controlled by the Japanese, and was a traitor, betraying China for personal gains. In 1943, Jiang's father sent him to the "Central College", which trained many Chinese traitors for the Japanese. Jiang Zemin once met with Japanese agents Ding Mocun and Li Shiqun, and took a photo with them. Ding was the head of Japanese spies under Doihara Kenji, who later was prosecuted for his war crimes in China. Japanese surrendered in 1945, and Jiang Zemin was wanted as a traitor by the Chinese national government. Jiang hid away until the government called the search off, and resumed his studies at the Central University, which was later renamed Nanjing University. When Jiang Zemin became ...

Jiang's notorious deeds have attracted wide attention. NTD is making a series of reports on Jiang's life. Today's topic is Jiang's politicking within the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) corrupt army. Due to his role in Tiananmen Massacre in 1989, Jiang Zemin became the CCP's General Secretary. In 1991, the former Soviet Union and the Communist Eastern Bloc disintegrated. Under the protection of CCP leftist veterans Chen Yun and Li Xiannian, Jiang Zemin was advocating the ultra-left line and against reforms. In early 1992, Deng Xiaoping was accompanied by the CCP's then-President Yang Shangkun on his southern tour. Deng specifically mentioned Jiang's name and said "the one who does not reform will step down. " Meanwhile, Jiang ordered the Central Propaganda Department to unify their statements regarding Deng's southern tour. Subsequently, on an expanded meeting of the Politburo, when conveying Deng's speeches made on his southern tour, Jiang deleted a large amount of contents. On National People's Congress held in March 1992, the CCP's military General Political Department Director Yang Baibing shouted: "To defend the reform and opening up." Shenzhen Special Zone Daily was the first to disclose Deng's southern tour speeches. Jiang was under a lot of pressure from many CCP veterans, including ...

Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Bo Xilai's case has grabbed international attention. Mainland netizens expressed that Bo Xilai's evil doing days are over. However, many analysts expressed that if the CCP deals with Bo Xilai's case as a simple criminal case, it will be difficult to satisfy the public. On April 10, CCP mouthpiece, Xinhua, reported that Bo Xilai will be suspended from his position as member of Chinese Communist Party Central Committee (CCPCC) and member of the Politburo of the Central Committee. He will be investigated by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. The report said, in the death of British citizen Neil Heywood, a police investigation found that Neil was murdered. Bo Xilai, Gu Kailai and Bo's servant Zhang Xiaojun are the primary suspects. Gu Kailai and Zhang Xiajun were handed over to police on charges of suspected murder. Social commentator Lan Shu expressed that it's not enough for the CCP to deal with the Bo Xilai case as just a criminal case. Bo Xilai caused countless humanitarian disasters while persecuting Falun Gong in Chongqing. He also caused many legal disasters by falsely accusing private businessmen in order to acquire their wealth. Lan Shu,"So many humanitarian disasters, so many legal disasters. You avoid all of them and only talk about his integrity issues, that is reducing his crimes. They used the lightest punishment to deal with his case. Their goal is to protect CCP rule in ...

A report says that the official media neglect Jiang. In the past, official media always promoted news of Jiang after he retired. Who is operating behind the scenes? What is the purpose? Let us find out more. Yangzhou is the hometown of Jiang Zemin. Local media promoted reports of Yangzhou Taizhou airport being officially unveiled by Jiang. However, People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency and CCTV reported this in low profile. Except semi-official media Zhongxinwang publishing a newsletter with pictures, People's Daily and Xinhua News did not report or reproduce this. Jiang Zemin: "Gadhafi Is My Close Friend."
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities promptly changed their attitude towards Moammar Gadhafi after his death. A Chinese Foreign Ministry official publicly stated that Gadhafi is not a friend of China, but a guest of the West. However, Chinese netizens noted that former CCP General Secretary, Jiang Zemin, praised Gadhafi as a close friend, during his visit to Libya. Gadhafi also claimed that he is a friend of China; of the same camp. With Gadhafi's death, Libya ended eight months of civil war. Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) leader, Abdul Jalil, said on October 24, that a new interim government will be formed within two weeks. The Libyan people appear optimistic that this will indeed happen. On October 25, a NTC official said that Gadhafi will be buried in secret desert location. Gadhafi' life ended, but was he a friend of the CCP? The question sparked an online debate between Chinese netizens and CCP authorities. The spat started on October 22, when Lu Shaye, director of the CCP Department of African Affairs, in a exclusive interview with French newsmagazine, Jeune Afrique, claimed, "Gadhafi is not a friend of China, but a guest of the West." Chinese netizens did not sympathize with Gadhafi, but when seeing the CCP turn against its old friend, they expressed strong indignation. Now the regime's former leader Jiang Zemin may be caught up in the turmoil. Last Friday, Bloomberg reported Chinese regime former leader Jiang Zemin met with Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz when he visited China on April 17th. It's one of the few times Jiang has surfaced in media reports since the Communist Party's political turmoil began in February. Jiang again appeared in the news on Saturday, with US based Boxun.com reporting that he met with high ranking military officials. Jiang reportedly told them, quote, "I'm still the leader of the Central Military Committee." The details are scant on both the reports, with pictures of Jiang notably missing. Chinese web author Wu Jianguo says this draws suspicion, and is at odds with Jiang's style. [Wu Jianguo, Chinese Web Author]: "I really doubt the credibility of this. All these reports online are texts with no pictures. They only reported he met so and so, and the military. In the past, Jiang would try and make a personal appearance. Truth About Jiang Zemin: Part II
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com After the rumors about Jiang Zemin's death came out, how to judge Jiang has become a highly controversial topic and a headache to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It has even led to political conflicts. Jiang's misdeeds and crimes have attracted worldwide attention. Today we will take a look at Jiang's selling of China's lands. December 9 and 10, 1999, are dates of disgrace to China. While the then-CCP General Secretary Jiang Zemin had just launched the persecution of Falun Gong, he signed a "Treaty between the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation on the East and West boundary of China and Russia," with visiting Russian President Yeltsin. The treaty handed over more than 1.5 million square km of northern China to Russia. The land Jiang Zemin gave to Russia is as large as the total of the three Northeast provinces, or more than 40 Taiwans. Jiang also gave to Russia the estuary of Tumenjiang, which is the gateway from Northeast China to Japan Sea, hence blocking future development opportunities for China. Former USSR leader Lenin issued 3 statements in the past to return the Chinese lands to the government of China. Jiang Zemin's new treaty completely denied Nerchinsk Treaty, which was achieved through wars with Russia led by Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. Jiang accepted unequal treaties, such as The Treaty of Aigun and The Treaty of Beijing, both were not acknowledged by the ...

This is his first attendance at official activities since the funeral of Qian Xuesen in November 2009. Jiang Zemin, who has not appeared in public for nearly two years, looked old and weak. Scholars inside and outside China point out that Jiang struggled to appear in public, and will have little impact on the 18th National Congress of the CCP. On October 9, the assembly to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution was held in the Great Hall in Beijing. Current and former CCP leaders, including Jiang Zemin, Li Peng, Li Ruihuan, Zeng Qinghong, Yu Jianqing, Song Ping and Luo Gan attended the event. Former Premier Zhu Rongji, who recently published a book, did not appear. Jiang entered the event with the physical support of others. Although he tried to smile, he could not conceal his weakness. His face was described as looking pale and swollen, his eyes were dull and lacking the ability to focus. His gestures were much slower than before, and he faltered and gradually lagged behind Hu Jintao, who was in front. It took Jiang some efforts to sit down. One of his hands leaned on the back of Hu Jintao's chair. When Hu gave a speech, Jiang looked weak, causing discussions among ...

During Jiang Zemin's 13 years in office, the CCP's corrupt officialdom was made public. All the CCP's bureaucrats led by Jiang became corrupt, without exception. The US Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Foundation pointed out that since 1990, the CCP officials' corruption had caused direct economic losses ranging from RMB 987.5 billion to RMB 1257 billion per year. Prior to the CCP's 17th National Congress in Oct 2007, the then-Finance Minister Jin Renqing suddenly ran into troubles. It was understood that his downfall was related to overseas transfer of money by him and Jiang Zemin. At that time, Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao were investigating the whereabouts of nearly RMB 100 billion. Jiang had spent a lot of money on persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Jiang obtained the money directly from Jin Renqing, without the approval of the then-Premier Zhu Rongji. The People's Daily recently published a preface Jiang Zemin wrote for the History of China's Electric Industry Development. CCTV anchor Li Ruiying broadcasted this news. A Jiang faction member, Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang attended the launching ceremony and praised Jiang during his speech. Jiang wrote in the preface that, "(When he) studied in Nanjing, Nanjing was under the control of both Wang Jingwei and the Japanese invaders." Recently, the party media of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) published the speech in a high profile article, but said that there are two important sentences which reporters didn't dare to publish. This has attracted curiosity. Some scholars have pointed out that, the purpose of Deng's tour was to criticize Jiang Zemin who was against reform. The reason for Hu Jintao's faction publishing the speech before the 18th National People's Congress is to criticize Jiang Zemin who is retired but who didn't step down. On January 18th, "Xinhua Net" and "People Net" reproduced an article in "Nanfang Daily". In that article, Chen Xitian, former deputy chief editor of "Shenzhen Special Zone Daily" said there were two important sentences in Deng's speech that weren't published in the newspaper when the speech was reported 20 years ago. These two important sentences are, "Do not engage in political campaigns, do not engage in formalism. Leaders should have a clear mind, and shouldn't affect the leaders' work", and "Elders should resign, otherwise they can easily make mistakes.
