MAP or Manifold Air Pressure Sensor
The MAP sensor is a main input to the ECM or engine computer. The MAP sensor measures the difference in air pressure between the intake manifold and atmospheric pressure. The ECM infers engine load from the MAP sensor reading. Learn how it works, what's the reference voltage and how to test it. unique information found only here.

Water Lift Atmospheric Pressure Torricelli Vacuum 10 meter potential
This water is held in place with atmospheric pressure pushing on the surrounding pond water. The Maximum lift of water is about 10 meters with regular air pressure. This is how mercury barometers worked. TWO valves can allow for lift without losing much water. Amazing Water Trick! How to Suspend Water Without a Cup!

Atmospheric Mat - Air Pressure Mat
Order now at www.stevespanglerscience.com tOne of the best air pressure demos we've ever seen! Place the rubber mat on a flat surface and ask a volunteer to lift the mat by the handle. It's like the mat is glued to the table! Of course, you have no problems lifting the mat. It's atmospheric pressure in action. Use the Air Pressure Mat to lift a stool or a small table. A great way to show that suction cups stay stuck because of the pushing force of air, not from a pulling "suction" force. About Steve Spangler Science... Steve Spangler is a celebrity teacher, science toy designer, speaker, author and an Emmy award-winning television personality. Spangler is probably best known for his Mentos and Diet Coke geyser experiment that went viral in 2005 and prompted more than 1000 related YouTube videos. Spangler is the founder of www.SteveSpanglerScience.com, a Denver-based company specializing in the creation of science toys, classroom science demonstrations, teacher resources and home for Spangler's popular science experiment archive and video collection. Spangler is a frequent guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where he takes classroom science experiments to the extreme. Check out his pool filled with 2500 boxes of cornstarch!
