End Sequence Of 'Head' (1968)
The Monkees (Peter Tork, Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz and Michael Nesmith) 1968 film "Head" is one of my favorites. This is the end sequence which includes "Porpoise Song (Theme from Head)" (Gerry Goffin / Carole King). Screenplay by Jack Nicholson. Directed by Bob Rafelson. Also features Timothy Carey & Victor Mature.

Head (1968) - Daddy's Song (dance sequence)
Davy Jones dances to "Daddy's Song." The woman Jones dances with is Toni Basil of the "Mickey" fame. Basil choreographed this and other dance sequences in Head (1968; dir. Bob Rafelson). This video was excerpted from the Criterion Collection's 2010 Blu-ray remaster release of BBS Production films entitled "America Lost and Found: The BBS Story."

Caslavska's silent protest -- 1968 Olympics
From a fluff piece aired during the 1986 World Cup on ABC, Czechoslovakian Vera Caslavska turning her head down at the USSR anthem during the floor final medal ceremony to protest the Soviet invasion of her country. Never has there been another moment quite like it in gymnastics.

Sharon Tandy - Fool on the hill 1968
Sharon Tandy - Fool on the hill 1968 Original by The Beatles 1967 Day after day, alone on a hill, The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still. But nobody wants to know him, They can see that he's just a fool. And he never gives an answer But the fool on the hill, Sees the sun going down. And the eyes in his head, See the world spinning around. Well on the way, head in a cloud, The man of a thousand voices, talking perfectly loud. But nobody ever hears him, Or the sound he appears to make. And he never seems to notice But the fool on the hill, Sees the sun going down. And the eyes in his head, See the world spinning around. (Instrumental) And nobody seems to like him, They can tell what he wants to do. He never shows his feelings, But the fool on the hill, Sees the sun going down. And the eyes in his head, See the world spinning around. He never listened to them he knows that there's a fool They don't like him The fool on the hill, Sees the sun going down. And the eyes in his head, See the world spinning around.
