Miscarriage baby
Miscarriage baby
My precious baby Isabel born asleep on the 25th June 2010. It was a shock to us all when my waters broke on the 24th June. I was 20 weeks pregnant and did not think it could happen so late in pregnancy. Unfortunately, I had a low lying placenta and suffered from a water infection 2 weeks before, which contributed to the miscarriage. The reason my Izzy is so red in the photo's is because she had died on the night of 24th and I delivered her 6am on the 25th. I remember her last kicks!! The pictures were taken about 7 hours after I delivered her. I want to thank all my family and friends who were there to support me. It has been such a comfort having you all around us. I also want to thank Newham General Hospital for taking the photo's of Izzy for me. The butterfly in my car at the cemetery was a sign that you are well (we are still baffold as to how you got there!!). Isabel, you will always be in our hearts and I will never forget you. Lord, look after my daughter until it's time to see her again......I miss her very much xxxx Sharon Milling

My Miscarriage Story
My Miscarriage Story
**Learning to find strength through my tears** On Tuesday October 18th I started spotting in the afternoon and went to the ER that night. They couldn't find a heartbeat and checked my cervix it was closed and I was no longer bleeding so they sent me home and said that everything should be fine. It was confirmed by my OB that our baby no longer had a heartbeat on Wednesday October 19, 2011. I was 9 weeks and 3 days. Thursday I took my first dose of Cytotec (Misoprotosol) and started bleeding and passing clots that night Friday morning I took my second dose and passed the fetus that evening. I DO NOT regret my decision of taking the pills. (I did forget to mention that it gave me painful gas and diarrhea though.) On Sunday (after taping this) I passed something else huge but I have no idea what it was. Wednesday 10-26-11 Passed another piece of tissue Thurday 10-27 bleeding stopped. Began spotting: 10-18-11Miscarriage confirmed: 10-19-11Took 1st dose of Cytotec: 10-20-11Finished bleeding: 10-27-11Positive OPK: 11-14-11 at 10:00 pmOvulated!: 11-16-11 Got my period:12-1-11 I also forgot to mention that having this miscarriage has made me hug Jayden extra tight. I am SO LUCKY AND BLESSED to have him. It is so easy to forget how much of a blessing each and every child really is. But boy will a miscarriage remind you!!

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss - Miscarriage
Recurrent Pregnancy Loss - Miscarriage
Recurrent pregnancy loss is a painful infertility problem. For these often desparate couples achieving a pregnancy is not the problem, repeated miscarriage is. Dr. Mark Perloe, Medical Director at Georgia Reproductive Specialists in Atlanta explores this problem. A copmrehensive evaluation for age related miscarriage, genetic abnormalites, blood clotting problems, uterine abnormalities, infection, insulin resistance, environmental exposures and immune factors may not provide an explanation. However, your GRS team will work with you to explore options to achieve a successful outcome. Visit Georgia Reproductive Specialists online www.ivf.com, arrange a medical record review and phone consult or come see Dr. Perloe in Atlanta. The first step is a comprehensive medical evaluation that will often pinpoint less costly treatment options. If you require assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF, ICSI, Egg Donation or IUI, consultation with an infertility financial coordinator at GRS will often find an option that allows you to move forward with treatment.Georgia Reproductive Specialists provides the latest in assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), ICSI, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)blastocyst transfer, egg donation, embryo cryopreservation, ovulation induction and insemination to couples with infertility problems due to endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), male factor, fallopian tube obstruction, uterine fibroids and ...

H1N1 Vaccine Miscarriage Risk
H1N1 Vaccine Miscarriage Risk
It is stated plainly in the Arepanrix adjuvanted H1N1 vaccine package that the product was associated with miscarriage, birth defects and developmental delays in rats.Nonetheless, our government continues to recommend that pregnant women take the adjuvanted vaccine if flu rates are increasing and they are unable to get the unadjuvanted version at that time. How can our public health officials consider this an acceptable risk/benefit ratio?About 1 in 450 pregnant women who catch influenza will go on to develop complications. According to data from Australian epidemiological surveillance, one in 3800 pregnant women are hospitalized for flu-related complications, but these women had other risk factors such as obesity. The risk of pregnant women dying from flu was found to be about 1/300000. articles.mercola.com So far, there has only been one "H1N1-related" death in a pregnant woman in Canada since the virus first appeared in April, and this woman actually died of blood loss following an emergency C-section done because she was suffering respiratory distress. In other words, the flu was only very loosely connected to a single death. Meanwhile, the vaccine has to date never been tested in pregnant women and is known to have adverse outcomes in the offspring of treated rats. Clinical trials on pregnat women were SUSPENDED because the women developed fever, which is known to affect fetal development. Whether the public health officials are totally incompetent or are being ...
