Deborah ("Debbie") Elizabeth Meyer (born August 14, 1952 in Annapolis, Maryland) is a former American swimmer who won the 200, 400, and 800 m swimming events at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. While still a 16-year old student at Rio Americano High School in Sacramento, California, she became the first swimmer to win three individual gold medals in one Olympics.^[1]

Meyer set world records in 200, 400 and 800 m freestyle events at the Olympics trials. Her winning times at the Olympics were 2:10.5 for 200 m, 4:31.8 for 400 m, and 9:24.0 for 800 m, all of them new [Olympic Records] records. Despite suffering from asthma, she broke twenty world records, which landed her in the United States Olympic Hall of Fame in 1986.^[2] She also broke 24 American records and won 19 Amateur Athletic Union championships.

In 1968, she won the James E. Sullivan Award. In 1969, she was named Associated Press Athlete of the Year. In 1972, she retired from competition.

On July 5, 2004 she was inducted into the United States National High School Hall of Fame. In memory of her Olympic achievement she uses the custom car license plate 3GOLD68.

Meyer is married to Bill Weber. She owns the Debbie Meyer Swim School in Carmichael, California. According to the business website, Meyer has taught swimming in the Sacramento, California area since the 1970s and opened the school in 1993. Along with teaching children and adults to be safer in the water Debbie is coaching the Truckee Tahoe Swim Team in her hometown of Truckee, California.

Debbie Meyer has a son, Colin a 21 years old and is currently attending Sierra College in Roseville, California, and a daughter.

Donald "Donny" Deutsch (born November 22, 1957)^[1] is an American advertising executive and television personality.

He is the former host of the CNBC talk show The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch (2004–2008). The television audience first became familiar with him on February 11, 2005, when he appeared^{[clarification needed]} on NBC's reality-television series The Apprentice hosted by Donald Trump.^[2]

Early life and education[link]

Deutsch was born to a Jewish family in Hollis Hills, a neighborhood in the Queens borough of New York City, New York. He attended the Martin Van Buren High School, located in the nearby Queens Village neighborhood; Deutsch later attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^[1]

Deutsch is the chairman of Deutsch Inc., an advertising agency founded by his father, which he sold to the Interpublic Group of Companies in 2000 for US$265 million.^{[citation needed]}

In addition to his work on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, Deutsch has appeared as a regular guest on MSNBC's morning talk show Morning Joe.

Personal life[link]

In 2000, he married Stacy Josloff, whom he later divorced. Deutsch's former girlfriend, Amanda Zacharia, gave birth to their daughter, Daisy, in 2007.^[3]

Deutsch purchased a five-story property in New York City for $21 million and reportedly spent another $20 million on renovations in 2006.^[4] Deutsch also purchased a $29 million home on Long Island, New York.^{[citation needed]}

The Product is an Alternative Rock band based out of Detroit, Michigan. The Product formed in early 2009 with the original line-up of B.J. Perry, R.J. Perry, Rich Bennett and Jerome Reilly. Several months later the band parted ways with Jerome, and picked up former band mate and high school friend Charlie Jewell. They have released one E.P. titled "Break The Silence" along with several singles.

Break The Silence (2009)[link]

Their debut EP, Break The Silence, was self-released in 2009 and generated an instant buzz throughout the Midwest.^[1] The track "Nightmare" stayed at Number 1 on Alternative Addiction's top ten Unsigned Bands list for several months. The band went on to tour the Midwest extensively and sold over 4,000 copies of BTS. Also, the track from the E.P. "Better Off This Way" had a clip appear in the hit MTV show Jersey Shore ^[2]

One (Early 2010)[link]

The band covered the song "One" by Harry Nillson, and more famously covered by Three Dog Night, in 2010.^[3]

Make Your Move (Late 2010 - Early 2011)[link]

Make Your Move was the theme song for Total Nonstop Action's Final Resolution (2010).^[4] The song is also being used by the Detroit Red Wings organization being played at home games at the Joe Louis Arena as well being featured in a hits collage on their website.^[5] The song is expected to be re-released on The Product's follow up release "So Alive" expected in 2011. The Product was also named the number one unsigned band of the year by voters on Alternative Addiction.com,^[6] as well as featured on the music discovery site Daily Unsigned.^[7]

So Alive (2011 - Present)[link]

The band is currently under the direction of Restless Management Group out of Los Angeles, California and is in the process of getting together their next release "So Alive." while working with notable producer Greg Archilla ^[8]

Tour[link]

The Product has toured throughout the Midwest gaining a loyal following in those states. They won the Ernie Ball Warped Tour Battle of the Bands and played the Detroit date at Comerica Park, as well as opening up for nationals like Cavo, Mayday Parade, and Pop Evil, and Danko Jones at the sold out WWBN Banana Binge Before Christmas Show in 2010.^[9]

After more than 20 years as a successful employee/manager/executive of big businesses, including multi-year tenures with Sears and Xerox, Blasingame founded his consulting firm in 1989 to focus on supporting small business CEOs. His tag line was, "I'm an executive vice president you can rent."

In 1997, Blasingame founded the media company, Small Business Network, Inc. (SBN), so he could "talk to more than one person at a time." The new company was founded for the purposed of helping small business owners have the maximum opportunity to be successful along the ownership continuum, from start-up to growing enterprise to divesting.

The company's initial medium was radio as Blasingame began broadcasting his nationally syndicated weekday radio program, The Small Business Advocate® Show, in November 1997. Two months later, in January 1998, he began simulcasting his program on the Internet.
