DAY AFTER SEPTEMBER 11, 1714
In the 17th Century, during the War of Succession that occurred in the kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula, the Crown of Castile gave support to Philip of Bourbon. The Kingdom of Aragon, the Principality of Catalonia and the kingdoms of Valencia and Mallorca were sovereign and had been part of the federation of the Crown of Aragon or Catalan-Aragonese since the 13th Century. These kingdoms aligned with the pretender Charles of Austria. He offered them sincere guarantees of respect for the constitutions and liberties of the Catalan-Aragonese federation. The victory of Philip of Bourbon meant the end of the rights and privileges of the kingdoms of the Crown of Aragon and they were unified under the laws of Castile. Barcelona fell on 11th September 1714 against the forces of Philip V of Bourbon.

Love Hurts - Juana La Loca
Scenes from the movie 'Juana La Loca' In 1496 Joanna, at the age of sixteen, was betrothed to Philip the Handsome, Duke of Burgundy (titular), in the region of Flanders in the Low Countries. The formal marriage took place on 20 October 1496 in Lier, north of present day Brussels. Between 1498 and 1507, she gave birth to six children: two emperors and four queens. Joanna's life with Philip was rendered extremely unhappy by his infidelity and her political insecurity. He consistently attempted to usurp her legal birthrights to power. This led in no small part to rumors of her insanity, stoked by reports of her depressive or neurotic acts while she was imprisoned or manipulated by her husband. /Joanna of Castile (Spanish: Juana I de Castilla) (6 November 1479 -- 12 April 1555), nicknamed Joanna the Mad (Spanish: Juana la Loca), was the first Queen regnant of both the Crown of Castile (1504--55) and the Crown of Aragon (1516--55), a union which evolved into modern Spain.[1] Besides the kingdoms of Spain, she also ruled the kingdoms of Sardinia, Sicily, and Naples in Italy; a vast colonial empire in the Americas; and was Countess of Burgundy and the consort of the Burgundian Netherlands, thus initiating Spanish interests there. She was the last monarch of the House of Trastámara and her marriage to Philip the Handsome initiated the rule of the Habsburgs in Spain. Throughout most of her long reign she was under the regency of either her husband, father or son/.

Seville A walking tour around the city / Sevilla Un paseo por la ciudad
Seville (Sevilla in Spanish) is the capital city of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia (Andalucía) and the greatest city of the southern Spain. Following the 1492 Christopher Columbus expedition to the New World, the results from his claiming territory and trade for the Crown of Castile (incipient Spain) in the West Indies began to profit the city, as all goods imported from the New World had to pass through the Casa de Contratacion before being distributed throughout the rest of Spain. A 'golden age of development' commenced in Seville, due to its being the only port awarded the royal monopoly for trade with the growing Spanish colonies in the Americas and the influx of riches from them. Since only sailing ships leaving from and returning to the inland port of Seville could engage in trade with the Spanish Americas, merchants from Europe and other trade centers needed to go to Seville to acquire New World trade goods. In the late 16th century the monopoly was broken, with the port of Cádiz also authorized as a port of trade. The Great Plague of Seville in 1649 reduced the population by almost half, and it would not recover until the early 19th century. By the 18th century its international importance was in decline. After the silting up of the harbor by the Guadalquivir (river) upriver shipping ceased and the city went into relative economic decline. Seville's development in the late 19th and early 20th centuries was characterised by population growth and increasing ...

English Victories against the Spanish: Part 1
Medieval times during 100 years war. Castille made a peace with England ending their part in 100 years war in 1387. I this great battles like Najera & Aljubarrota on land & Winchelsea & Margate on sea. England enjoyed some great victories over France's early ally. England prevailed & crowned a king of France in Paris & very nearly had King crowned of Castile too! Castile as result signed a treaty ending their participation in the 100 years war & only had to deal with Castillian merceneries & pirates. England on other hand had gained an alliance which still stands to this day & that's with Portugal. Enjoy the video!

[Crazy] Dracula/Brides
(Please watch in HD) And sign the petition below! www.ipetitions.com www.ipetitions.com This video recounts not the events of Van Helsing, but the beginning. When Dracula first took his brides. . Verona was of high Italian nobility, a marchesa. And if Dracula could have loved, he would have loved her. Forever at his side, she was his second in command. . Marishka was a prostitute, in a Transylvanian brothel. Captivated by her beauty, he gave her the greatest gift he could. Eternity. . Aleera was a princess, heir to the crown of Castile in Spain. Dracula, Marishka, and Verona attended a royal masquerade. Dracula chose Aleera and turned her there. The end of the video depicts the first time they tried to bring their children to life- ending in failure. The brides live with the count, though no love exists from him to them. He cares for them, and dotes on them. But they know he does not love them. In their own way, they love each other. Verona is matronly and sympathetic, acting as guardian to the others. (This video nearly killed me, it's my most ambitious project yet. I hope you all like it.;D )
