This massacre is the second reported in Syria in less than two weeks. In May, over 100 people, including dozens of women and children, were killed in Houla, Homs province. The Syrian government denied opposition accusations that they were responsible for the reported massacre as "absolutely baseless".

Syrian opposition and govt to blame for Houla massacre -- Lavrov
The Syrian crisis became a central theme of talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and British Foreign Secretary William Hague in Moscow on Monday. After the meeting, the ministers held a press conference at which they expressed their position on the recent massacre in the Syrian city of Houla and shared their views on the future of Syria and its internal conflict. Both Syrian sides are involved in the tragedy in Houla, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told the reporters. "So evidently both sides were involved in this situation, where innocent people were killed, including dozens of children and women. The region is controlled by armed militants, but it is also surrounded by pro-government forces. The UN Security Council commissioned the observers' mission in Syria to conduct an investigation, and this investigation will help determine the cause and effect of what happened. We explained our position in a press statement, which was drawn up by the UN Security Council yesterday. This statement condemns any violence, emphasizes the fact that the Syrian government bears responsibility for implementing the Annan plan, especially the part about not using heavy vehicles in towns." He reminded reporters that the UN Security Council held a special meeting on the Houla tragedy at Russia's suggestion. He also added that Russia and the UK both think external parties need to elaborate on ways to ensure the fulfillment of the Kofi Annan plan in Syria. "We all ...

New 'massacre' reported in Syria's Hama province
New 'massacre' reported in Syria's Hama province
Syrian pro-government forces have killed 78 people in a single village in Hama province, many of them women and children, activists say. The opposition said government-backed militia stabbed and shot their victims, the majority in the village of Qubair. Damascus denied a massacre, saying "terrorists" had killed nine people. Neither account could be confirmed, but activists said 140 had been killed nationwide on Wednesday - one of the bloodiest days of the uprising. It comes less than two weeks after 108 people were killed in a massacre in Houla. Analysts say the continuing unrest suggests diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis are having little impact on the ground. On Thursday, UN-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan is expected to urge the UN Security Council to create a new contact group to help end the violence. UK Prime Minister David Cameron condemned the "brutal and sickening" killing of civilians and called for concerted international action. 'Heinous crime' Activist groups reported that Qubair, about 20km (12 miles) north-west of the city of Hama, had come under heavy bombardment from security forces backed by tanks.

Syrian Opposition Visits China, Why Is the CCP Inconsistent?
Follow us on TWITTER: twitter.com Like us on FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com On February 4th, at the UN resolution the Security Council voted to "stop the Syrian government's massacre of Syrians" However the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) cast a veto. But after less than a week, CCP Foreign Ministry said that the Syrian opposition recently visited China. Then, why are CCP's actions so contradictory? Let us look at the analysis from the outside world. On February 9th, CCP Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin spoke at a regular press conference. He said that, from February 6th to 9th, Syrian Opposition Sea Sam Mak, Deputy Coordinator of "the national democratic forces of change national coordinating body", visited China, together with a delegation. However, a few days before, the CCP had expressed support for the current government of Syria. They rejected a UN resolution to stop the Syrian Government of the people. The CCP's actions are so inconsistent, why? Ma Xiaoming, former Shaanxi TV reporter, analyzed and pointed out that this is the usual double-dealing standard. The CCP does this for diplomatic propaganda and communications. Ma Xiaoming: "Their feet occupy two boats, because dictators can't be long-lived, it will not last long. I think (the CCP) also wants to build relationships with the Syrian opposition." After CCP cast veto in UN, it was strongly condemned by the public. The Australian Prime Minister accused the CCP of Irresponsible behavior. The French Foreign ...

Syria Massacre (6/6/2012)
At least 78 people were killed in one Syrian village Wednesday, with at least half of the dead women and children, Syrian opposition activists said. The deaths happened in Qubeir, a small farming village of 200 people in Hama province, according to the Local Coordination Committees of Syria. It blamed the deaths on Syrian government forces. Syrian state TV later accused an "armed terrorist group" of carrying out the killings. Just 10 families live in Qubeir in a cluster of about 20 homes, said Lt. Khaled Ali, a spokesman for the rebel Free Syrian Army's military council in Hama. Security Clearance: US, Russia grapple for common ground The Local Coordination Committees said that 35 of the dead are from one family. Rami Abdulrahman, a spokesman for the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, another activist group, confirmed "dozens" of deaths in Qubeir but said he could not give a specific number "until all names have been confirmed." An activist who was less than two miles from Qubeir also said that at least 78 people had been killed the village. He said he was working with others to evacuate the bodies, many of which were burned. He said 38 of the victims were men, and the rest were women and children. A video posted on YouTube late Wednesday showed a row of bodies covered in blankets, which the cameraman said were from Qubeir. The first body is that of a child, and another body is charred. 32 children among 90 dead in Syrian government 'massacre' More than 90 people, including 32 children, have been killed in a Syrian government "massacre", as William Hague calls for an urgent session of the United Nations Security Council. The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that Friday's shelling in the city of Houla, in central Homs province, had led to what seemed to be one of the bloodiest episodes so far of the 15-month long uprising. The Head of UN team in Syria confirmed over 32 children, 60 adults killed in Friday artillery attack Unconfirmed amateur videos posted by activists on YouTube showed around 20 bodies, mostly young children, lying in a room. One man holds up the limp body of a boy aged around seven, a gaping hole punched in the lower portion of his face. "This child, what did he do to deserve this?", he shouts. Other footage shows the corpses of men and women lying under patterned blankets, including what is said to be one entire family. "We're being slaughtered like sheep here," says one voice. "Where are the UN observers?" adds another. William Hague, Foreign Secretary, has condemned the latest violence, saying the UK will press for an urgent session of the United Nations Security Council to co-ordinate the response to the "appalling" crime. amascus says it is conducting an anti-terror operation in the city of Homs, aimed at rooting out what it calls armed gangs. Opposition activists disagree, and say the army is shelling residential areas indiscriminately. However, Syria's Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad held a press conference in Damascus on Saturday where he alleged that the massacre in Homs that happened as the UN and Arab League weighed up whether to send a joint observer mission, was orchestrated by opposition groups in Homs to influence international opinion. He said that those killed in Homs were "people who support the government and people who were kidnapped by the armed groups and they were massacred on the evening, during the exact time of the meeting of the Security Council in New York." He said he believes "the instructions were given to these armed groups to commit this massacre, mobilize further the international public opinion and to encourage those countries to use such a thing in their statements before the Security Council."

Syria: Mail-Order Massacre Remember Libya anyone? You know, when NATO promised Russia and China they would fill in the details later and that there would be only a no-fly zone to protect civilians? Well, February 4, 2014 is X-Day declared by the NATO-backed Syrian Opposition, the culmination of terrorist atrocities to create a false flag event sending NATO in and probably starting WW3. Remember when NATO drew up Resolutions 1970 and 1973 imposing a no-fly zone in Libya, based upon "horrific massacres" by the Libyan Armed Forces and "Government aircraft strafing towns and cities"? Remember what happened when the Libyan authorities gave the foreign news agencies a free hand and told them to take them to the places where they had hours earlier affirmed there had been such attacks? Remember that the NATO failed to fill in the details to the Russians and Chinese, remember the mission creep as a no-fly zone turned into a full-scale invasion by NATO special forces, (along with thousands from puppet states like Qatar), into the full-scale support given to the Libyan terrorists who cut the throats of black people in the streets, who raped women, who impaled children with metal spikes, who torched people and buildings and committed theft, robbery, murder, torture and acts of terrorism? Remember which governments backed this scourge? Well ladies and gentlemen the circus is back in town, this time in Syria. Free the Syrian People
Free the Syrian People
11 months ago the Syrian people started peacefully protesting against President Assad and his government. President Assad retaliated by killing or torturing the opposition. Many of these people are innocent civilians. Since the uprising many members of the Syrian Army doesn't want to kill their own people so they defected from the Syrian Army to join the Free Syrian Army. On February 4th, 2012 the UN resolution was vetoed by the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China. The UN resolution was proposed by the Arab League was simply President Assad to step down and his deputy leader to lead the country so then he can lead it to democracy. Best part was this could of been done without foreign military intervene in the country. All I can say is shame on the Russians and Chinese to let the Syrian Government allow them to massacre innocent civilians. All I can say is the Opposition will prevail against the illegitimate President Assad and his government.

Rebels responsible for Houla massacre says Syrian report
Damascus says a preliminary investigation showed armed groups carried out the Houla massacre. Earlier the government forces were blamed for the slaughter, which claimed lives of more than a hundred innocent citizens, including 32 children. The report says that up to 800 rebel fighters were involved in mass killing in Houla, a cluster of villages in Syria's western Homs province, on May 25. General Qassem Jamal Suleiman, head of the investigation committee, said that there were families which "refused to oppose the government and were at odds with the armed groups". "Government forces did not enter the area where the massacre occurred, not before the massacre and not after it,'' Suleiman said. Foreign Ministry spokesman Jihad Makdissi said the aim was to create sedition in Syria adding that people who are trying to "ignite civil strife, will not succeed." The bodies of 13 people who were bound and shot were discovered in eastern Syria, the head of the UN observer mission said Wednesday. The discovery of the bodies came days after Friday's massacre of more than 100 people, many of them children, in Houla, leading to worldwide outrage and condemnation. A statement from the office of Maj. Gen. Robert Mood, chief military observer and head of the UN Supervision Mission in Syria, said the 13 bodies were found Tuesday night with their hands tied behind their backs in the Assukar area in eastern Syria. Some of the victims appeared to have been shot in the head from a short distance, the statement said. Meanwhile, government forces battled Syrian rebels Wednesday in Damascus as a UN-led peace plan appeared to further deteriorate, witness said. Violence was also reported in the Damascus countryside, Aleppo and Hama. Opposition leaders said at least 10 people were killed, including five in Douma, CNN reported.
