April Jeanette Mendez (born March 19, 1987) is an American professional wrestler. She is signed to WWE, wrestling on its SmackDown brand under the name of AJ. In 2010, she was part of the third season of ''NXT''. She also competes in WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling.

She has wrestled for several Northeast-based independent promotions including VPW, NWS, and ACE as well as the all-female promotion Women Superstars Uncensored, where she was one half of the WSU Tag Team Champions along with Brooke Carter, known as The AC Express.

Early life

Mendez has stated she is of Puerto Rican heritage. She attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in New York City where she majored in Film and Television production. She has a brother who served in the Army, and as a tribute to him, she has been known to wear camouflage wrestling attire.

Professional wrestling career

Training

Shortly after graduating from high school, Mendez researched wrestling schools, and enrolled in one a mile away from her house. To pay the tuition, she began working full-time, and became an official wrestling student in March 2007.

Women Superstars Uncensored (2008–2009)

On October 10, 2008, Miss April made her debut for Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU), losing to Soul Sister Jana in a singles match. The following night, she teamed with Malia Hosaka and participated in the tournament to determine the inaugural WSU Tag Team Champions. The pairing advanced to the second round by defeating The Soul Sisters (Jana and Latasha), where they lost to The Beatdown Betties (Roxxie Cotton and Annie Social). At the second taping later that same night, Miss April lost to Hosaka in a singles match. On February 7, 2009 Miss April teamed with Brooke Carter to defeat The Beatdown Betties and win the WSU Tag Team Championship. A month later, on March 7, they defeated The Beatdown Betties in a rematch to retain the championship. On April 10, Miss April competed in the third J-Cup tournament, defeating Roxxie Cotton in the first round before losing to Rain in the second. The following night, on April 11, Miss April and Jay Lethal were crowned the WSU/NWS 2009 King and Queen of the Ring after defeating Jana and Danny Demanto in the final of the tounament.

World Wrestling Entertainment/WWE

Florida Championship Wrestling (2009–present)

Mendez signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment on May 5, 2009, and was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE's developmental territory. Mendez made her FCW television debut at the August 14, 2009 tapings under the name April Lee in a fatal four-way match won by Serena Mancini, and also including Alicia Fox and Tiffany. In September 2009, her ring name was changed to "AJ Lee". She began challenging for the Queen of FCW title, and at the television tapings on February 4, 2010, Lee defeated Serena to win the crown. In the first round of a tournament to determine the inaugural FCW Divas Championship, Lee defeated Tamina on April 29, but was defeated by Serena in the semi-finals on May 20. At the June 10 television tapings, Lee challenged Naomi Knight for the FCW Divas Championship, but was unsuccessful. In June 2010, she appeared at Raw house shows, acting as the hostess, and also acted as the ring announcer at an FCW show. The following month, Lee and Serena interrupted Knight during a promo, and Lee watched while Serena attacked Knight, turning Lee into a heel (villainous character). Knight went on to retain her FCW Divas Championship by defeating both Lee and Serena in a triple threat match. On FCW's 100th episode, Lee fought Knight to a double countout in a match where both the Queen of FCW title and the FCW Divas Championship were on the line. At the September 2 tapings, Lee lost to Knight in a Lumberjill match to end their feud.

On November 18, she lost to Rosa Mendes in a title match, making Mendes the new Queen of FCW. On December 16, Lee defeated Naomi to win the FCW Divas Championship. Her victory made her the first FCW Diva to have held both the Divas Championship and the title of Queen of FCW. She held the championship until the April 7 television tapings, when she lost it to Aksana.

''NXT'' and Smackdown (2010–present)

On August 31, 2010, it was announced that she would be part of the third season of ''NXT'' under the name AJ, with Primo as her Pro. She appeared on the first episode of season three on September 7, teaming with Primo to defeat rookie Diva Aksana and her Pro Goldust in a mixed tag team match. The following week she suffered her first loss when she and Primo were defeated by Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler. Over the next two weeks, AJ won three challenges, and on the October 5 episode of ''NXT'' she and Kaitlyn were tied for the number of challenges won. Kaitlyn received immunity from elimination in the poll based on crowd reaction. AJ was eliminated from the competition on the November 23 episode of ''NXT'', despite winning a competition and a match earlier in the show. She returned to ''NXT'' for the season finale, where she teamed with The Bella Twins to defeat Alicia Fox, Aksana, and Maxine. AJ returned as a special guest on February 8, 2011, during the fourth season of ''NXT'', modeling merchandise during a 'guess the price' challenge.

AJ debuted on the May 27, 2011 edition of ''SmackDown'' as a face, teaming with Kaitlyn (known as The Chickbusters, a play on The Dudebusters) in a losing effort to Alicia Fox and Tamina after Kaitlyn was pinned by Alicia. The duo were accompanied by Natalya, who earlier that evening was seen giving them a pep talk about facing Fox and Tamina. Her losing streak continued the following week, as she and Kaitlyn, accompanied again by Natalya, lost a return match to Alicia Fox and Tamina, who were this time accompanied by Rosa Mendes when she was pinned by Tamina. On the June 10 edition of ''SmackDown'', again with Natalya in her corner, AJ scored her first win when she pinned Tamina in a singles match following a roll up. On the June 13 edition of ''Raw'', an All-Star special, AJ was again victorious, in a 7 on 7 diva tag team match, teaming with Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, Eve Torres, Natalya, Kelly Kelly and Kaitlyn to defeat The Bella Twins, Melina, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Maryse and Tamina. On the July 8 edition of ''SmackDown'', AJ defeated Tamina in a singles match. The Chickbusters and Natalya returned to Raw on July 18 and were victorious in another 7 on 7 diva tag team match, with the same competitors as the All-Star ''Raw''.

On the July 26, 2011 episode of ''NXT'', AJ was revealed as Hornswoggle's admirer. After this, Maryse insulted both of them, calling AJ a troll and telling Hornswoggle he finally found somebody his size, causing AJ to hit Maryse with the flowers she had for Hornswoggle. Three days later on SmackDown, she teamed up with Kaitlyn and Natalya, only to lose to the trio of Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, and Tamina after receiving a scissors kick from Fox. On the August 1st edition of ''Raw'', AJ took part in a battle royal to become the number one contender for the WWE Divas Championship at SummerSlam 2011, but was eliminated by Alicia Fox. On the August 2, 2011 edition of ''NXT'', AJ and Hornswoggle, sat on commentary in the Titus O'Neil & Matt Striker vs. Derrick Bateman & Darren Young tag team match. On the August 5, 2011 edition of ''SmackDown'' A.J. lost to Natalya. Natalya turned heel, attacking AJ after the match, later explaining this as part of a newfound allegiance with Beth Phoenix, who earlier that week on ''Raw'' attacked Kelly Kelly, and that she no longer wished to be a "cute diva". On the August 19, 2011 edition of ''SmackDown'', AJ teamed up with Kelly Kelly to defeat Alicia Fox and her former mentor, Natalya. On the August 23, 2011 edition of NXT, she suffered a defeat after a distraction led to a roll-up by Maxine.

Personal life

Mendez was previously in a relationship with her trainer Jay Lethal. Mendez is a self-described geek and enjoys comic books, video games and action movies. Mendez is also an animal lover, owning two rescue dogs.

Brianna Monique Garcia and Stephanie Nicole Garcia (born on November 21, 1983) are American twin models and professional wrestlers. The twins are a professional wrestling tag team under the ring names Brie Bella and Nikki Bella, collectively referred to as The Bella Twins, and work for WWE on the Raw brand.

Before being promoted to the main WWE roster, The Bella Twins wrestled with Florida Championship Wrestling, where they were trained by Tom Prichard, and mainly competed in tag team competition. Brie made her debut on SmackDown in August 2008; she debuted first, and as part of her in-ring persona, would disappear under the ring during matches, emerging revived. Eventually, however, it was discovered she was switching places with her twin, Nikki, under the ring in order to gain an advantage. They then competed in tag team matches. Beginning in November 2008, an angle was written in which The Bella Twins developed an on-screen relationship with The Colóns (Carlito and Primo). They were later involved in storyline romances with John Morrison and The Miz in early 2009 and Daniel Bryan in 2010. In April 2011, Brie won the WWE Divas Championship.

Early career

Brianna and Nicole Garcia were born in San Diego, California and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona in a family of Mexican and Italian descent. They played soccer up until college, when they started modeling, acting, and doing promotional work. They made their first national TV appearance on the Fox reality show ''Meet My Folks''. Following this appearance, the Garcia twins were hired to be the World Cup Twins for Budweiser and were photographed holding the World Cup trophy. They then participated in the 2006 "International Body Doubles twins search". They participated in the 2006 WWE Diva Search but did not make the cut.

Professional wrestling career

World Wrestling Entertainment / WWE (2007–present)

Florida Championship Wrestling (2007–2008)

They were signed to developmental contracts by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in June 2007 and assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), WWE's developmental territory, in Tampa, Florida. On September 15, 2007 the twins debuted in FCW, dubbed The Bella Twins, by defeating Nattie Neidhart and Krissy Vaine with Victoria Crawford as the special guest referee. The duo quickly started a scripted rivalry with Neidhart and Crawford, and had a series of matches against them throughout October 2007. As a part of their on-screen personas, they switched places behind the referee's back if one of them was hurt. They also occasionally competed in mixed tag team matches, teaming with male wrestlers including Kofi Kingston and Robert Anthony. They also made some non-wrestling appearances on Heath Miller's "Happy Hour" promo segment.

Starting in December 2007, they began managing Derrick Linkin, but this storyline was cut short when Linkin was released in January 2008. They then resumed their feud with Neidhart and Crawford, wrestling them throughout much of 2008. After Neidhart was called up to the WWE roster in April 2008, however, Milena Roucka took her place in the feud. They also competed in bikini contests, and wrestled against other competitors including Katie Lea Burchill and Daisy. Their last FCW appearance was on September 2, when they competed in a Divas Battle Royal won by Miss Angela.

Debut; Brand switches (2008–2010)

On the August 29, 2008 edition of ''SmackDown'', Brianna debuted as Brie Bella under a fan favorite character and defeated Victoria. She quickly began a scripted rivalry with Victoria and Victoria's accomplice, Nattie Neidhart, who was now using the ring name Natalya, and had a series of matches against them. In each match Brie would roll out of the ring and go underneath it, emerging and appearing revived, and then win the match. On the October 31 edition of ''SmackDown'' when Brie went under the ring Victoria grabbed her legs, but a second pair of legs kicked her off, implying that a second person was under the ring. The following week on ''SmackDown'', Brie picked up a win against Victoria and then ran under the ring to escape Natalya and Victoria, but Victoria and Natalya both reached for Brie under the ring, resulting in both Nicole and Brie being pulled out. The twins then attacked them and celebrated afterward. Nicole was then introduced as Nikki. The twins had their first official match as a team on the November 21st edition of ''SmackDown'', defeating Victoria and Natalya. They continued competing in tag team matches for the next few months.

Starting in November, they developed an on-screen relationship with The Colóns (Carlito and Primo), appearing in numerous backstage segments with them, and accompanying them to the ring. On the February 13, 2009 edition of ''SmackDown'', John Morrison and The Miz flirted with the Bellas backstage. As Morrison and The Miz were scheduled to have a match against Carlito and Primo that night, a stipulation was added that the winning team would win a date with the Bellas on Valentine's Day. During their date, Primo and Carlito were disguised as waiters and tried to sabotage the date, resulting in the Bellas getting angry with the two. The date provoked a rivalry between the teams of The Miz and Morrison and Primo and Carlito, with them competing for the affection of The Bella Twins, who were seemingly unable to choose between them. On the March 17th edition of ''ECW'', Carlito and Primo, accidentally spat apples in the face of Brie, which was originally aimed at Morrison and The Miz. Nikki started to laugh at Brie's misfortune, and a fight broke out between the two of them, which led to Nikki leaving with The Miz and Morrison, while Brie stayed with Primo and Carlito. This turned Nikki heel in the process. Brie won her first match over Nikki in a six-person intergender tag team match on the March 27th edition of ''SmackDown''. In their first singles match, on the March 31st edition of ''ECW'', Nikki pinned Brie after Morrison and The Miz caused a distraction. On April 15, 2009, The Bella Twins were both drafted to the Raw brand as part of the 2009 Supplemental Draft. On the April 27th edition of ''Raw'', Brie made her Raw in-ring debut in an eight-Diva tag team match, which her team won. Nikki also made an appearance, reuniting with her twin, as she was under the ring to help out Brie during her match. Nikki then made her official in-ring debut on the May 18th edition of ''Raw'' in a battle royal but was eliminated by Beth Phoenix.

On June 29, 2009, they were both traded to the ECW brand. They debuted on ''ECW'' on June 30, 2009 on ''The Abraham Washington Show'', as the special guests. The following Tuesday on ''ECW'' Nikki defeated Katie Lea Burchill, by switching places with Brie behind the referee's back. The following week on ''WWE Superstars'' Brie also defeated Burchill after a similar switch. The Bella Twins were then featured on September 10 edition of ''Superstars'', when Nikki defeated Burchill.

On October 12, 2009, the Bellas were sent back to Raw as part of a tri-branded divas trade, where they predominately appeared in backstage segments with the weekly guest stars and occasionally competed in matches. On the January 4, 2010, edition of ''Raw'', Brie participated in the tournament to determine the new Divas Champion tournament match, but lost to Maryse in the first round. During the match, the twins switched places behind the referee's back so it was Nikki who was pinned. In June 2010, they developed a feud with Jillian Hall, when Brie defeated her after switching with Nikki. The following week, Nikki defeated Hall after switching with Brie. On the July 8th edition of ''Superstars'', the Bellas acted as the special guest referees during a mixed tag team match with Primo and Hall facing Yoshi Tatsu and Gail Kim. During the match, Hall attacked both twins, but lost the match when Kim pinned her and Nikki made a fast count. On the next episode of ''Superstars'', the twins defeated Hall and Maryse in a tag team match.

On August 31, The Bella Twins announced they would be part of season three of ''NXT'', mentoring Jamie. Jamie was the first rookie eliminated on the October 5th edition of ''NXT''. On the October 19 edition of ''NXT'' the Bellas heel turn started as Nikki became upset after Kelly Kelly's rookie Naomi kicked Brie in the face during the match. Nikki attacked Naomi and eventually threw Brie (the legal woman) out of the ring and pin Naomi. Over the rest of the season a similar trend of a more aggressive Nikki continued.

On the November 22nd edition of ''Raw'', Brie ran out to accompany Daniel Bryan to his match against Ted DiBiase who had Maryse in his corner. Following Bryan's win, Nikki ran out and the two fought over Bryan's affection only to have Bryan break it up and have both of them hug each other. They began to manage Bryan, frequently accompanying him to the ring.

Heel Turn; Divas Champion (2011)

On January 30 at the Royal Rumble, they once again assaulted Gail Kim, and again the following night on ''Raw''.

On the February 7th edition of ''Raw'', they competed in their first match as heels, teaming with fellow heel Melina in a losing effort to WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres, Tamina, and Gail Kim. The Bella Twins began feuding with the WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres after they appeared as lumberjills during a WWE Divas Championship match between the WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres and Natalya on the February 14th edition of ''Raw''. Following the match, they attacked the WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres backstage before Gail Kim and Natalya Neidhart made the save. On the February 21st edition of ''Raw'', The Bella Twins defeated Eve Torres and Gail Kim in a tag team match. The following week, Nikki Bella won a Divas battle royal to become the number one contender for the WWE Divas Championship after Brie Bella switched with her twin sister, Nikki Bella and faced the former WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres for the WWE Divas Championship on the March 7th edition of ''Raw'', but she was unsuccessful. On the March 17th episode of WWE Superstars, The Bella Twins teamed up with fellow heels Melina Perez, and Alicia Fox in a losing effort against Tamina, Gail Kim, Natayla Neidhart, and the former WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres. The following week on the March 31st edition of WWE Superstars, The Bella Twins and fellow heel, Melina, defeated the former WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres, Gail Kim, and Natayla Neidhart after Brie Bella switched with her twin sister, Nikki Bella to pin the former WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres. On the April 11th edition of ''Raw'', Brie Bella defeated the former WWE Divas Champion, Eve Torres to win the WWE Divas Championship from her, marking the first time that either twin had held a championship in the WWE. Brie went on to successfully defend the championship against Kelly Kelly at Over the Limit, after switching places with her twin sister, Nikki.

The following night on ''Raw'', they teamed with fellow heels, Maryse, and Melina against Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, and Eve Torres, however, the match ended in a no-contest following an interruption from Kharma. On the May 30th edition of ''Raw'', The Bella Twins were defeated by the team of Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly. Later that night, they interrupted and mocked Kharma when she revealed that she was pregnant and that she was taking a year's leave of absence from the WWE.

On the June 6th edition of ''Raw'', The Bella Twins were defeated in a divas tag team match by Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix after Brie Bella was pinned by Beth Phoenix. Their losing streak continued on the June 13 All-Star edition of ''Raw'', when they lost a 7 on 7 divas tag team match teaming with fellow heels Melina, Rosa Mendes, Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Tamina in a losing effort to Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix, Gail Kim, Eve Torres, Natalya, AJ, and Kaitlyn. On the June 20 edition of ''Raw'', a special Power to the People edition, where Brie would defend her title against either Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, or Beth Phoenix. Kelly Kelly was selected by the WWE Universe to face her and Brie Bella lost her Divas title to her after she lost the match. The following week on ''Raw'', Nikki faced the new WWE Divas Champion, Kelly Kelly in a Raw Roulette match. A submission match was picked and Nikki lost after tapping out to a Boston crab. After the match, Brie attacked Kelly and the Bellas were brutally kicking her until Eve Torres came to the rescue, throwing both Bellas out of the ring. It was later announced that Brie's rematch for the WWE Divas title would take place at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. On a special 4 July Independence Day edition of ''Raw'', the Bella Twins lost to both Eve Torres and WWE Divas Champion, Kelly Kelly in a divas tag team match. On July 17, Brie challenged Kelly for the WWE Divas Championship at the Money in the Bank 2011 pay-per-view, but failed to capture the title. On the 1st of August, Brie and Nikki both took part in a battle royal to face Kelly Kelly for the Divas Championship at SummerSlam. They both failed to win but were last eliminated. They were eliminated by Beth Phoenix who later went on to win. The Bellas then were in a tag team on the August 15th edition of Raw with a losing effort, lost to Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly. A week later, Nikki (with her sister, Brie) took on Eve Torres (with Kelly Kelly), but lost again. Brie tried to attack Eve but instead received a ''K2'' from out of nowhere by Kelly.

Michael Sean Coulthard (born December 8, 1968), better known by his ring name Michael Cole, is an American professional wrestling commentator, currently signed to WWE on both its Raw and SmackDown brands. Coulthard is a former news journalist.

Life and career

Journalism

Coulthard began his career in the media as a journalist, working for CBS Radio. His first high-profile assignment was to cover the failed 1988 US presidential campaign of Democratic Party nominee Michael Dukakis. In 1992, he reported on the presidential campaign of Bill Clinton. Coulthard covered the 51-day siege at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, in 1993. The following year, he spent nine months covering the Yugoslavian civil war. In 1995 he was also selected to cover the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing. He returned to the presidential campaign trail in 1996 to cover the failed campaigns of Steve Forbes and Sen. Bob Dole.

World Wrestling Federation / Entertainment (1997–present)

Backstage interviewer and Raw (1997–1999)

Cole came to the World Wrestling Federation in mid-1997 and started using the stage name "Michael Cole." He became the host of ''LiveWire'' show alongside Jim Cornette. Coulthard debuted at SummerSlam, and replaced Todd Pettengill as a backstage interviewer, who left the WWF after the event. In late 1997, Cole became one of the three announcers for the first hour of ''Monday Night Raw'', alongside Jim Ross and Kevin Kelly. Eventually Cole was permanently replaced by Jerry Lawler later in the year. In 1999, Cole became the regular play-by-play announcer for ''Monday Night Raw'' subbing for Jim Ross when Ross was devastated by Bell's palsy.

SmackDown! (1999–2008)

When the promotion's new ''SmackDown!'' television program debuted later that year, Cole was chosen to be the show's play-by-play announcer. Originally his broadcast partner was Jerry "The King" Lawler, but when Lawler briefly left the WWF, he was replaced by Cole's ''Heat'' broadcast partner Tazz shortly before the WWF vs. WCW/ECW invasion storyline. Cole also had a stint doing commentary on ''SmackDown!'''s former sister show ''WWE Velocity''.

As an announcer, Cole was rarely involved in storylines; however, he has had minor roles in storylines involving Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, Heidenreich, Stephanie McMahon, Vito, and D-Generation X (Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, and Rick Rude). His 2004 angle with Heidenreich became infamous due to an implied scene where Heidenreich "Heidenraped" him in the arena restroom. In a 2008 interview, Heidenreich explained that the Cole rape angle was McMahon's idea, and that ''Pulp Fiction'' came to mind when Stephanie McMahon approached him with the idea. He also appeared in the ''Taxi Driver'' parody trailer in promotion of WrestleMania 21.

Cole called play-by-play at the 2006 Royal Rumble match because Ross, who had commentated the last three Royal Rumble matches with Tazz, had been "fired" in the storylines and replaced by former ECW play-by-play man Joey Styles, reuniting the original SmackDown! team of Cole and Lawler.

On February 3, 2006, it was announced that he and Tazz were starting a radio show on Howard Stern's "Howard 101" radio station on Sirius, airing Thursday through Sunday at 8 pm, but the show was a trial run that only lasted a couple of weeks.

On April 26, 2006, WWE announced that Cole would become the Managing Editor of WWE.com. Shortly after, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon told shareholders in a meeting held on September 14 that he believes that the website "sucks". In response, Cole replied on WWE.com about updated content for the website: a broadband network with original web-only shows have been scheduled for October, with a new mobile offering, a re-vamped subscription site and more exclusive videos and photos. Cole went on to say, "So in summary, the web site does suck, compared to where we are going to take it, but it won’t suck for long. Wish I could say the same for the boss."

On the June 9 edition of ''SmackDown!'', Cole's broadcast partner Tazz left from SmackDown to ECW, leaving Cole at that moment without a broadcast partner. At ECW One Night Stand 2006, John "Bradshaw" Layfield announced he would replace Tazz as color commentator. This proved true five days later when he appeared on that week's edition of ''SmackDown!'' as Cole's new broadcast partner.

After JBL left the broadcast booth and returned to wrestling action on ''Raw'', Jonathan Coachman became Cole's new partner on January 4, 2008. Coachman was then replaced by Mick Foley beginning at Backlash on April 27, 2008.

Raw announcing exclusively (2008–2010)

As a part of the 2008 WWE Draft, Cole was drafted to the Raw brand as Jim Ross was drafted to the SmackDown brand. This effectively ended Cole's near 10 year run as play-by-play commentator on ''Smackdown'' in which he called every episode except for two. (The two episodes were the pilot and the 9/11 Tribute show, both of which were called by Ross.) On the July 7, 2008 edition of ''Raw'', Cole was attacked by Kane. He repeatedly asked Cole "Is he alive or dead?" before Cole was saved by Jerry Lawler. Cole made his in-ring debut as Lawler's partner against the tag team of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase; a match for the World Tag Team Championship. Cole and Lawler lost after Cole inadvertently tagged himself in, and was quickly pinned by Rhodes after a lariat. On the December 14, 2009 episode of ''Raw'', which was the 2009 Slammy Awards, Cole won ''The "Oh My" Moment of the Year'' award for vomiting on Chris Jericho at ''SmackDown's 10th Anniversary'' show on October 2.

Heel Turn and NXT (2010)

Cole is the color commentator for ''WWE NXT'' when the show debuted on February 23, 2010. Cole started to show early signs of a heel turn when he began to belittle certain rookies on the show, mainly Daniel Bryan. Cole began showing a liking to The Miz, who was Bryan's pro on that season, and who was becoming a significant heel on Raw. On the May 18 episode of ''WWE NXT'', Bryan attacked Cole as a result of Cole's comments to him over the preceding weeks. The following week, Cole called Bryan out and demanded an apology from him, or else he would sue him for the assault. Bryan insulted Cole instead. Cole retaliated by calling Bryan a "loser" and slapping him, which caused Bryan to be restrained by security as Cole left the ring.

After Cole's feud ended with Bryan in the second season of ''NXT'', Cole began to show more support for The Miz and his rookie for that season, Alex Riley. As with Bryan in the first season of ''NXT'', Cole picked on season two rookie Kaval for being another "internet darling".

On the third season on ''NXT'', Cole criticized the whole competition after a challenge which would require him to ring a gong that was next to him. He walked off commentary, ostensibly "quitting" the show. Cole returned halfway through the next week's edition of ''WWE NXT'', rejoining Josh Mathews and CM Punk, who filled in for Cole. Cole stated that "''NXT'' without Michael Cole is simply bad, and that he was giving the show "journalistic integrity". Just as in the first two seasons of ''NXT'', Cole picked on a rookie, A.J., who he would also call an "internet darling".

On the fourth season of ''WWE NXT'', Cole was replaced by Todd Grisham on commentary. On the December 28 episode of ''WWE NXT'', Cole returned to the show to help Brodus Clay in a talent show competition.

Feud with Jerry Lawler (2010–2011)

On the June 21, 2010, episode of ''Raw'', Cole became the official spokesman for the new (anonymous) General Manager of ''Raw'' (as the GM issues his orders through e-mails addressed to Cole) coming up with a new catchphrase of "and I quote...." to begin each e-mail reading.

On the October 1 edition of ''SmackDown'', Cole returned to the show to join Matt Striker and Todd Grisham on commentary. On that same episode, Cole told Striker and Grisham that the reason he was on the show was that he was the new "Voice of the WWE" and that he should be on all WWE shows.

Over the next few months, Cole showed more signs of a heel turn when he started to pick on certain superstars on ''Raw'' and ''SmackDown''. As Cole's heel character developed, Jerry Lawler showed displeasure in commentating with him. Cole dubbed his "fans" as Cole Miners, a play on the term coal mining. Even CM Punk, who had buddied up with Cole during the announcing of NXT Season 3, said that his initials stood for Cole Miner. On the November 15 episode of ''Raw'', Jim Ross returned to the WWE to call a match alongside Lawler and Cole, to Cole's obvious displeasure. After the match finished, JR beat Cole with his hat before he left.

On the November 29 episode of ''Raw'', Cole interfered in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match for the WWE Championship between Lawler and The Miz, costing Lawler the match by helping Miz retain his title. A week later, Cole apologized, only to take it back and demand one from Lawler. After Lawler threatened to attack Cole, the anonymous ''Raw'' General Manager issued a "cease and desist" order, which barred any physicality between them and that if either of them violated the order, that individual would have their contract terminated immediately. Cole continued to argue with Lawler on commentary, telling him he was "stealing the spotlight" and to "stop putting his nose in other people's business". After Lawler unsuccessfully challenged for the WWE Championship again at WWE Elimination Chamber, Cole interviewed him about his match on the following ''Raw''. When Cole mentioned Lawler's recently deceased mother, Lawler stole the microphone from Cole and challenged him to a match at WrestleMania XXVII. Cole responded by throwing water into Lawler's face and then running backstage.

A week later, Cole accepted Lawler's challenge to a match at WrestleMania, only if he could have his own personal trainer at ringside with him and if he could choose the special guest referee for the match. Cole then revealed his trainer to be Jack Swagger. On the March 7, 2011 episode of ''Raw'', Cole announced that he had chosen John "Bradshaw" Layfield (JBL) as the referee for the match, but before he could sign the contract, Stone Cold Steve Austin interrupted and delivered a Stone Cold Stunner to JBL, and then signed the contract himself, making him the referee for the match. From the March 14 episode of ''Raw'', Cole began announcing both ''Raw'' and ''SmackDown'' inside a glass booth which he called the Cole Mine. Later that night, Cole invited Brian Christopher, Lawler's son, to the ring to reveal the truth about Lawler. Christopher confronted his father and told him he was ashamed to use the name "Lawler" and accused him of being absent from most of his life. Jim Ross then interrupted and confronted Cole and called him a "rat bastard". Jack Swagger attacked Ross and put him an Ankle Lock. Cole also followed suit.During following weeks he criticized the WWE Divas saying they should not be in the WWE.

At WrestleMania, Lawler won the match by submission, using the ankle lock submission hold that Cole and Swagger had used on him during the last few weeks leading into the event. While celebrating his victory with Stone Cold, the anonymous Raw General Manager reversed the decision, due to Stone Cold physically getting involved in the match by pushing Cole, thus, making Cole the winner by disqualification. A month later at Extreme Rules, Cole teamed with Swagger to defeat Jim Ross and Lawler in a Country Whipping match. Lawler challenged Cole to one last match at Over The Limit. Cole initially declined, but Swagger was provoked into agreeing to the match on Cole's behalf. A week later, Cole announced that the match would be a "Kiss My Foot" match. During the signing, Cole and Swagger's alliance ended when Cole insulted Swagger, causing him to walk out on Cole, who then tried to beg Lawler for forgiveness. At the pay-per-view, Lawler defeated Cole. After the match, Eve Torres and Jim Ross would come out and get their retribution on Cole. Eve Torres delivered her signature moonsault to Michael and Jim Ross covered Michael's face in barbecue to humiliate Michael Cole. Bret "The Hitman" Hart would then return and put Cole in his signature submission move, the Sharpshooter, to help Lawler make Cole kiss his foot.

Return to commentating (2011)

On the May 23 edition of ''Raw'', the night after Over The Limit, Cole said he regretted his behavior over the past few months and offered Lawler a full apology, which Lawler accepted, and soon enough, Cole returned to being a commentator. Despite this, he continues his heel run as he still favors villains like The Miz, Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio and questions some of the actions by fan favorites to regain control in a match. He also started liking the divas matches, saying they are his favourite but continues to show his dislike towards Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres.

On the May 30 episode of ''Raw'', Cole would insult Alex Riley during an in-ring interview, which caused Riley to attack Cole. Miz would save Cole by attacking Riley from behind, but was also blindsided by Riley. A week later, after John Cena and Riley defeated Miz and R-Truth, Cole would announce that the Anonymous ''Raw'' General Manager had reversed the ruling, due to Steve Austin physically assaulting The Miz during the match, thus, making Miz and Truth the winners instead (because Cena and Riley are both disqualified). Austin would bring Cole into the ring hit his signature ''Stone Cold Stunner'' on him, followed by Cena hitting an Attitude Adjustment finishing move on him. Austin would then pour beer all over Cole while celebrating with Cena and Riley.

On the June 20 ''Power to the People'' episode of ''Raw'', Cole was voted as the opponent for Vickie Guerrero in a dance-off, hosted by Matt Striker. Cole would imitate the signature worm of Scotty 2 Hotty and the signature ''Spin-a-Roonie'' of Booker T. Cole would win the dance-off for receiving the most amount of boos (originally to be most amount of cheers, Striker changed it to boos when both Vickie and Cole were just booed). On the July 25 episode of ''Raw'', after Triple H announced the return of Jim Ross on commentary, Cole became angry with the decision, which led to Triple H giving Cole the choice to quit or stay. After Cole agreed to stay, Triple H announced Cole would have a match and would have the rest of the night off commentary. Cole (forced to dress and mimic Triple H) was defeated by Zack Ryder in a squash match. Later that same week on ''SmackDown'', Cole stated that he was not quitting and he was going to continue to commentate on ''Raw'' alongside Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

Personal life

Coulthard graduated from Webutuck High School in 1984 and attended the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in Syracuse University. Coulthard says that his favourite country to visit is South Africa. Coulthard loves twitter.

Coulthard is married to a woman named Yolanda and the couple have two sons, named Calvin and Mark. Coulthard's oldest son, Calvin, also works for WWE in the television production department.

Beside doing commentary in the WWE video games, he will be featured as a playable superstar in ''WWE '12'' in his WrestleMania 27 gear. He was previously only available for in-game use via cheat devices such as Xploder.

Vickie Guerrero (born Vickie Lara; April 16, 1968) is an American professional wrestling personality, manager, shifting authority figure and occasional wrestler. She is the widow of the late professional wrestler Eddie Guerrero, currently signed to WWE on its Raw brand. She had previously been on the SmackDown brand, where she served as the Official Consultant to SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long. She had also served as acting general manager, but was storyline fired after Teddy Long returned on Smackdown's 600th episode to reclaim the General Manager position.

Career

World Wrestling Entertainment/ WWE (2005–present)

Eddie's death and early feuds (2005–2006)

In 2005, Vickie Guerrero began to make cameo appearances during the feud between her husband Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, which had escalated when Eddie promised to reveal a secret concerning Mysterio's son, Dominick. Vickie was on the July 14 episode of ''SmackDown!'' with two of Eddie's three daughters to stop Eddie from revealing Mysterio's secret. Eddie promised not to reveal the secret should he lose to Mysterio at The Great American Bash, though that turned out to be another one of his character's trademark lies, as Eddie revealed that Dominick was really his biological son. Vickie later reappeared at SummerSlam to convince Eddie to put a stop to his war with Mysterio and not to go through with the "Custody of Dominick" ladder match that night. When that failed, she cost him the match by pushing over the ladder he was on as he was about to win. On November 13, 2005, Eddie Guerrero died of heart failure in his Minneapolis hotel room and was found by his nephew Chavo. On-screen, this led to Rey Mysterio, Eddie's real-life friend, getting more screen time and higher profile matches, including defeating Kurt Angle and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 22 for the World Heavyweight Championship.

In 2006, approximately seven or eight months after Eddie's death, Vickie started appearing more prominently in more controversial storylines. She first asserted herself during a feud between Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero when Chavo accused Mysterio of being "nothing but a leech living off the blood of the Guerrero name" on the August 4 episode of ''SmackDown!''. Subsequently, she acted as peacemaker between the two former friends until she seemingly inadvertently interfered in their match at SummerSlam in 2006, costing Mysterio the match. She then officially betrayed him by siding with Chavo and hitting Mysterio in the back with a steel chair on the following episode of ''SmackDown!'', becoming a heel in the process. On the September 1 edition of ''SmackDown!'', she declared herself Chavo's business manager and Mysterio an "insignificant chapter" in her past. At No Mercy, Chavo lost to Mysterio in a Falls Count Anywhere match. On October 20, Rey Mysterio lost an "I Quit" match against Chavo after interference from Vickie.

On October 27, 2006, Chris Benoit became involved in the storyline. He tried to figure out what Vickie was doing with Eddie's estate while also defending the WWE United States Championship in a rivalry with Chavo. At Survivor Series, Chavo kicked out of an attempted sharpshooter, causing Benoit to knock Vickie off the ring apron and on her head, causing her to begin to wear a neck brace and blame Benoit for "intentionally" hitting her. At the end of December, she interfered in a US Championship match between Chavo and Benoit, which caused Chavo to lose and Benoit to retain the title. As a result, Chavo shouted "If you wanted me to win the title, then stop getting me disqualified," before pushing Vickie over.

SmackDown! General Manager and Feud with Theodore Long (2007–2009)

In May 2007, Kristal, the on-screen girlfriend of General Manager Theodore Long, convinced him to give Guerrero an interview for the position as his assistant. A week after the interview, Vickie was given the job. On the June 29 edition of ''SmackDown!'', Vickie acted as interim general manager of ''SmackDown!'' while Long was planning his wedding with Kristal. She was soon named the maid of honor at Long and Kristal's "wedding". On the September 21 edition of ''SmackDown!'', from Long's hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, Long suffered a kayfabe heart attack during his wedding to Kristal before they had legally wed. The following week, Vince McMahon named Vickie the new General Manager. On the November 23 edition on ''SmackDown!'', she "punished" Edge for his interference in the championship match at the Survivor Series by making him the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, before revealing that she had begun a romantic relationship with him and had facilitated his "plan" to regain the belt. Later in the night, as she stood alone in the ring, after watching Chavo be attacked by the Undertaker. He performed a Tombstone Piledriver on Vickie. After being off-air for several weeks, she returned on December 14 as a villain and in a wheelchair, making biased matches in favor of Edge which led to him winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon.

In early 2008, she formed La Familia with her nephew Chavo, Edge, the team of Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, and later, Bam Neely. One of her first acts as part of the new group was to help Chavo win the ECW Championship from CM Punk. At the Royal Rumble, Vickie interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship match between Edge and Rey Mysterio, allowing Edge to retain his title. On the subsequent airing of ''SmackDown'', Edge proposed to Vickie, who accepted, but the event was interrupted by Mysterio. After Vickie had helped Edge to retain his championship for almost 4 months, he eventually dropped the title to The Undertaker. This started a feud between Edge and the Undertaker, with Vickie giving Edge numerous title opportunities and placing The Undertaker in difficult matches. On the May 2 edition of ''SmackDown'', she stripped The Undertaker of his championship after deciding that his new gogoplata (dubbed Hell's Gate) submission hold was too dangerous and made a match between The Undertaker and Edge for the vacant title with the stipulation that Undertaker would be banished from the WWE if he lost. Following interference, Edge won the match and Vickie 'banished' Undertaker. However, Edge lost his title shortly afterwards to CM Punk. On the July 4 edition of ''SmackDown'', Edge took his frustrations for losing the World Heavyweight Championship out on Vickie by telling her the wedding was off. The next week, however, Edge re-proposed to Vickie after ''SmackDown!'' had gone off the air. On July 18, at the wedding reception (the wedding had occurred off-screen before the show) Triple H came out and showed a video of Edge cheating on Vickie the day before with Alicia Fox, the wedding planner. The storyline continued at The Great American Bash when Fox attempted to hand Edge the WWE Championship belt to use as weapon, but was stopped with a clothesline by Vickie. Edge attempted to spear the referee to delay the match, but hit Vickie instead. Triple H used this distraction to recover and hit a Pedigree to retain his title. On the July 25 edition of ''SmackDown'', Edge attempted to get Vickie to forgive him, but instead she announced the return of his former enemy The Undertaker, whom Edge would face at SummerSlam in a Hell in a Cell match. This started a slight face turn for Guerrero. A few weeks later, as revenge, Edge attacked the members of La Familia and tipped Vickie from her wheelchair. The Undertaker refused to accept her apology for his banishment, but Vickie stated that she was not afraid of him. She also stated that at Unforgiven, she would force him to apologize to her, but at Unforgiven when The Undertaker did not comply, the Big Show knocked him out and Vickie spat in his face. This turned Vickie back to a heel. Big Show then aligned himself with Vickie, and for the next two weeks they continued to gloat at how they beat The Undertaker. After Undertaker attacked Chavo, Vickie pleaded with Undertaker for forgiveness for her actions. Undertaker, however, once again hit her with a Tombstone Piledriver, forcing Vickie to rely on both a neckbrace and a wheelchair again. Over the following weeks, Vickie put the Undertaker in matches against the Big Show that seemed impossible for him to win. The feud ended after Big Show lost to Undertaker in a casket match.

At Survivor Series, during a match for the WWE Championship between the champion Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov, Vickie came out to the arena making the announcement that "he's here". Edge's music was then played and he came out to compete, making it a triple threat match. At the end, he won the championship, and as he went to the back, he greeted Vickie with a hug. On the December 5 edition of ''SmackDown'' they shared a kiss, thus reinstating their on-screen relationship. On the special December 8 edition of ''Raw'', Vickie and Edge won a Slammy Award for the Couple of the Year.

Raw General Manager and departure (2009)

On February 23, 2009, she was appointed the interim General Manager of ''Raw'' during Stephanie McMahon's absence. On the following edition of ''Raw'', Guerrero announced that Edge would be facing The Big Show for his World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXV. On the March 9 edition of ''Raw'', John Cena showed footage of Vickie cheating on Edge with The Big Show after Guerrero had added Cena to the World Heavyweight Title match through blackmail of revealing the secret affair, making it a triple threat in the process. At WrestleMania XXV, Edge lost the World Heavyweight Title to Cena after Cena pinned Show after Cena delivered the Attitude Adjustment to Edge onto the Big Show. On the April 6 edition of ''Raw'', Guerrero was given the choice of either being General Manager of ''Raw'' or ''SmackDown''. She then announced that she would move to ''Raw'' in order to become its new General Manager, subsequently resulting in her being separated from Edge. However, The Big Show and her nephew Chavo were also moved to ''Raw'' during the 2009 WWE Draft and Supplemental Draft, respectively.

After being insulted for a few weeks by being made fun out of her weight by Santino Marella, Vickie, with help from William Regal, won the "Miss WrestleMania" crown from Santina Marella, Santino's "twin sister", in a no disqualification match sanctioned by Chavo on the May 18 edition of ''Raw''. On June 7 at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, Vickie lost her "Miss WrestleMania" title to Santina in a hogpen match with Chavo Guerrero by her side. The following night on ''Raw'', Vickie announced her resignation as Raw's General Manager. After her announcement, Edge came out and told Vickie that he was sorry for saying disrespectful things about her, only to reveal that he only married her so she could help him in World Championship matches, and now that she quit, she was useless to him in his endeavors to become the champion again. He then told Vickie that he wanted a divorce, leading to her suffering from a nervous breakdown. In reality, Vickie had requested to leave the WWE so that she could spend more time with her family.

Return to SmackDown and Alliance with LayCool & Dolph Ziggler (2009–2011)

Guerrero returned to WWE on the ''SmackDown'' 10th Anniversary special episode on October 2, where she introduced her storyline boyfriend, then-heel, Eric Escobar, who she would be managing on the SmackDown brand. On the November 20 episode of ''SmackDown'', Guerrero was named as a ''SmackDown'' consultant by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. The following week after Escobar failed to capture the Intercontinental title from John Morrison, Vickie lost it and ended their relationship. Escobar claimed that he can't take it any more because he only went out with her for power, mirroring what Edge admitted as to why he married Vickie on the June 8 edition of ''Raw''. Guerrero then put him in a handicap match with The Hart Dynasty the following week and the week after put him in another handicap match against Chris Jericho and The Big Show. The storyline was soon dropped when Escobar was released by the WWE. Guerrero began involving herself in the already heated rivalry between WWE Women's Champion Mickie James and Michelle McCool and Layla, taking the sides of Team Lay-Cool after Mickie accidentally doused her with cottage cheese. On the February 26 edition of ''SmackDown'', Guerrero acted as Special Guest Referee for a title match between James and McCool, ultimately costing James the title after slapping her. Two weeks later she got involved in a match between WWE Women's Champion Michelle McCool and Tiffany causing Tiffany to win the match by DQ. After the match, Michelle McCool and Layla began to beat down Tiffany until Beth Phoenix made the save, in the process, delivering a clothesline to Vickie Guerrero. two weeks later, Guerrerro appeared, in a 5-on-1 handicap match with Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Team LayCool, against Beth Phoenix. Guerrero mainly hid behind Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Team LayCool, letting her partners do the dirty work until Phoenix was weakened and Guerrero made the pin, winning the match. It was announced after that she would compete in a ten diva tag team match at WrestleMania. At the WrestleMania XXVI 10-Diva Tag Match, Guerrero's team was victorious when Guererro herself climbed the turnbuckle and gesturing to the sky connected a "frog splash" in an apparent tribute to her late husband Eddie. Only this time, her feud with Beth Phoenix became obvious. On April 2, Phoenix and Tiffany defeated Michelle McCool and Layla, who had Guerrero in their corner. On the May 10 edition of ''Raw'', Guerrero was named the permanent general manager of the Raw brand for the second time, but then resigned on the same night after being intimidated by Randy Orton. Although not the general manager, she returned to SmackDown as the Consultant that Friday on May 14 and forced Phoenix to face Team Lay-Cool in a handicap match, which Layla won to achieve her first WWE Women's Championship.

In June she began a romance storyline with Dolph Ziggler and began accompanying him to the ring. On the August 31 episode of WWE NXT, it was announced that Vickie Guerrero would be the pro originally for the rookie Aloisia in the Season 3 Diva's edition of NXT, but due to certain circumstances, Aloisia was sent to FCW, one of WWE's developmental territories and was later released. Vickie was assigned a new NXT rookie, Kaitlyn which she begin a feud with. On October 5, she was defeated by Kaitlyn in a rookie vs pro match. Kaitlyn was caught backstage kissing Vickie's boyfriend Dolph, which added more fuel to the fire. On the November 5, 2010 edition of SmackDown, Guerrero tickled Kaitlyn when she pinned her with her foot on the bottom rope. Kaitlyn went on to win NXT and later joined SmackDown.

Feud with Edge and Kelly Kelly (2011)

In January, she became the acting General Manager of SmackDown after Theodore Long was found unconscious backstage. At the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Kelly Kelly attacked Guerrero during the Edge vs. Dolph Ziggler match. On the February 4th episode of SmackDown, Ziggler and Lay-Cool lost to Edge and Kelly in a two-on-three handicapped mix tag match for the World Heavyweight Championship. At the end of the match, Guerrero fired Kelly, and announced a championship match will be commenced between Edge and Ziggler, and announced that Guerrero will be the special guest referee of the match. On the following week, while officiating the world championship match, she attempted to use the spear but failed to use it to Edge and kay-fabe injuring her ankle. While Vickie was down, Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers replaced Vickie as referee. While she was down, Edge speared Ziggler even though the spear was still banned but it should not have been banned. Edge won the match but a laid down Vickie insisted that Edge did not retain the title. On Smackdown's 600th episode the following week, she stripped Edge for the title and fired him. Later that night, there was a coronation for Dolph Ziggler as World Heavyweight Champion. However, the returning Theodore Long revealed that he was once again in charge and that Vickie and Dolph were the culprits behind his assault, thus making an impromptu match between Dolph and a reinstated Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship, in which Edge won. After the match, Long fired Dolph (kayfabe) from the WWE. As a result of Dolph being fired, his spot in the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event was vacated. At the event, Big Show was revealed as his replacement. On the February 25, 2011 edition of SmackDown, Theodore Long announced that a match would take place with Edge and Kelly Kelly facing Vickie and Drew McIntyre. Vickie lost the match, and was then fired (kayfabe) from her role as official consultant by Teddy Long. After being fired by Teddy Long, Vickie Guerrero appears in FCW show along with her daughter.

Return to Raw (2011–present)

On the March 7, 2011 edition of ''Raw'', Guerrero and Ziggler made their return to the brand, with Vickie managing him in a singles match defeating John Morrison. After the match, the anonymous ''Raw'' General Manager informed Vickie that Dolph Ziggler had indeed been hired, but they did not hire her yet. The general manager then continued by issuing a match between her and Trish Stratus for the following week, with the stipulation being if Vickie wins, she would be hired. The following week, Vickie defeated Trish in a No Disqualification match with the help of team Lay-Cool.

Right after defeating Stratus in the No Disqualification match, Guerrero challenged Stratus, John Morrison, and that week's ''Raw'' guest star Snooki, who had slapped Guerrero earlier in the night, to a six person mixed tag team match against Lay-Cool and Ziggler at WrestleMania XXVII in which the trio accepted. On the March 21, 2011 edition of ''Raw'', Guerrero, LayCool, and Ziggler lost to Stratus and Morrison in a 4-on-2 handicap match. At WrestleMania XXVII, Vickie Guerrero's team of Lay-Cool and Ziggler were defeated by Snooki, Stratus, and Morrison.

While still being the manager and kayfabe "girlfriend" of Dolph Ziggler since the loss at WrestleMania XXVII, Vickie appeared as Tyson Kidd's manager for the June 9, 2011 edition of ''Superstars'', only for Kidd to be defeated by Yoshi Tatsu. During this time period, Kidd had been looking for a manager to lead him to success, giving chances to several past and present WWE talents. This was the only time Guerrero had managed Kidd, and went on to continue her storyline involvement with Ziggler.

At the Capitol Punishment PPV, Dolph Ziggler won the United States Championship from Kofi Kingston, with the help of Guerrero. On the next nights edition of ''Raw'', Ziggler retained the championship from Kingston by disqualification. On the same night, Vickie would then go on to lose the dance contest to Michael Cole, despite Cole receiving the most boos. Even after kissing Matt Striker while dancing, Cole would go on to win via impersonation.

In August, Vickie sought out a new client in Jack Swagger, but she argued with Dolph later on.

Personal life

Vickie married Eddie Guerrero after three years of dating. Together they had two daughters. Their first daughter Shaul Marie Guerrero (born October 14, 1990). and Sherilyn Amber Guerrero (born 1995)Eddie Guerrero also had another daughter; Kaylie Marie Guerrero (born 2002) with a woman named Tara Mahoney. He was separated from Vickie at the time, however Eddie had split from Tara before Kaylie was born. He reconciled with Vickie soon afterward, and they renewed their wedding vows.

Yu Dafu () (December 7, 1896—September 17, 1945). Born in Fuyang, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, was a modern Chinese short story writer and poet.

Early years

Yu Dafu's father died at when he was only three, leaving the family poverty-stricken and destitute. He received a number of scholarships through the Chinese government and went on to receive a traditional Chinese education in Hangzhou. Chronologically he studied in Jiangxing-Fu Middle School (before he came to Hangzhou), Hangzhou-Fu Middle School, Yuying Academy (育英学堂, formerly of Zhejiang University).

In 1912, he entered Hangchow University (later its major part merged into Zhejiang University) preparatory through examination. He was there only for a short period before he was expelled for participation in a student strike.

He then moved to Japan, where he studied economics at the Tokyo Imperial University between 1913 and 1922, where he met other Chinese intellectuals (namely, Guo Moruo, Zhang Ziping and Tian Han). Together, in 1921 they founded the ''Chuangzao she'' 創造社 ("Creation Society"), which promoted vernacular and modern literature. One of his earlier works ''Chenlun'' 沉淪, also his most famous, published in Japan in 1921. The work had gained immense popularity in China, shocking the world of Chinese literature with its frank dealing with sex, as well as grievances directed at the incompetence of Chinese government at the time.

In 1922, he returned to China as a literary celebrity and worked as the editor of ''Creation Quarterly'', editing journals and writing short stories. In 1923, after an attack of tuberculosis, Yu Dafu directed his attention to the welfare of the masses.

In 1927, he worked as an editor of the ''Hongshui'' literary magazine. He later came in conflict with the Communist Party of China and fled back to Japan.

Second Sino-Japanese war

After the start of the Second Sino-Japanese war, he returned to China and worked as a writer of anti-Japanese propaganda in Hangzhou, and later in Zhejiang. From 1938 to 1942, he worked as a literary editor for the newspaper Sin Chew Jit Poh in Singapore.

In 1942 when the Imperial Japanese Army invaded Singapore, he was forced to flee to Sumatra. Known under a different identity, he settled there among other overseas Chinese and began a brewery business with the help of the locals. Later he was forced to help the Japanese military police as an interpreter when it was discovered that he was one of the few "locals" in the area who could speak Japanese.

In 1945, he was arrested by the Kempeitai when his true identity was finally discovered. It is believed that he was executed by the Japanese shortly after the surrender of Japan.
