A shocking confrontation with a six-year-old student was caught on video and now the kindergarten teacher could be facing assault charges.
It happened at Riverdale Elementary School in Mount Blanchard which is located south of Findlay in Hancock County.
The boy's father Anthony Nelson is sharing the surveillance video with the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, as well as 13abc.
Nelson is angry the school district suspended the teacher for ten days without pay. Nelson believes she should never set foot in a classroom again.
"Every time I see that video, I want to walk away," says Anthony Nelson, a father of three who lives in Wharton.
Nelson is sharing surveillance video of his 6-year-old son Ian at school.
It shows the kindergartner walking down the hall. He goes into the bathroom.
Moments later you can see his teacher Barb Williams greets him as he exits the bathroom by grabbing him and lifting him off the floor against the wall twice. It's a confrontation on Wednesday, May 7th, captured on the school's surveillance camera system.
"I would love to rip her apart, but that's not right," says Nelson.
Ian's father wants Williams' teaching license revoked.
"If I went to the school and if I were to do to her what she did to him, I'm going to be in jail," says Nelson.
Nelson says the district told him Ian was in trouble because he went to the wrong bathroom.
"I wouldn't expect an adult to be treated like that let alone a six year old child," says Nelson.
The Superintendent of Riverdale Local Schools says Williams has been a teacher in the district for 14 years.
"She has great evaluations," says Eric Hoffman, the Superintendent of Riverdale Local Schools. "Parents request her."
The district suspended the kindergarten teacher for ten days without pay. That's the last ten days of the school year.
"These things shouldn't happen at our school," says Hoffman. "That's why we had to take the disciplinary action. You send us your children and that's not what we're supposed to do."
Ian's dad says his son never told him what happened in that hallway and doesn't want to talk about the video.
"I'm sad for my son and how he feels," says Nelson. "I'm angry, so angry and would love to see retribution out of this."
The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is investigating what happened in that school hallway. Once completed, the report will be handed over to the prosecutor's office to determine if criminal charges will be filed.

MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Adam Clements) - Students in Madison Township are returning Wednesday to the scene of a shooting that left two teenagers shot and two others injured.
The school district's superintendent, Curtis Philpot, said this morning went well. "I'll tell you what, I think Tuesday's walk-through paved the way for a successful and pretty normal morning. There were a lot of parents hugging their kids and you sensed the emotion in those cars when the kids were being dropped off. We had all of our staff, well not all of our staff, but we had our staff on buses this morning, greeting kids and I think our kids felt comfortable coming back to school."
Tuesday night, students, teachers, parents and basically anyone involved with the school, was invited to walk through the halls, classrooms and even the cafeteria where the shooting took place.
Fourteen-year-old James Austin Hancock is accused of walking into the school's cafeteria with a loaded .380 caliber hand gun and firing. Two fellow students were shot, another two hit with shrapnel. All four are expected to recover. Local 12 obtained the the radio transmissions between the first responders. "You're going to have a patient here with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, small caliber. The patient is stable. I've got two helicopters en route. They're probably going to get here the same time you are.."
Hancock took off running, but was tracked down and arrested almost immediately. Superintendent Philpot said he wants to talk to Hancock and find out why this happened.
Hancock faces charges of attempted murder, felonious assault, inducing panic and making terroristic threats. Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones has an idea of the motive but hasn't shared it publicly yet. He says he wants to push for the teen to be tried as an adult.

MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Adam Clements) - Students in Madison Township are returning Wednesday to the scene of a shooting that left two teenagers shot and two others injured.
The school district's superintendent, Curtis Philpot, said this morning went well. "I'll tell you what, I think Tuesday's walk-through paved the way for a successful and pretty normal morning. There were a lot of parents hugging their kids and you sensed the emotion in those cars when the kids were being dropped off. We had all of our staff, well not all of our staff, but we had our staff on buses this morning, greeting kids and I think our kids felt comfortable coming back to school."
Tuesday night, students, teachers, parents and basically anyone involved with the school, was invited to walk through the halls, classrooms and even the cafeteria where the shooting took place.
Fourteen-year-old James Austin Hancock is accused of walking into the school's cafeteria with a loaded .380 caliber hand gun and firing. Two fellow students were shot, another two hit with shrapnel. All four are expected to recover. Local 12 obtained the the radio transmissions between the first responders. "You're going to have a patient here with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, small caliber. The patient is stable. I've got two helicopters en route. They're probably going to get here the same time you are.."
