Fox News Attacks Google As Anti-Church?
Fox News Attacks Google As Anti-Church?
150+ Fox News Bias videos at www.youtube.com When "Fox and Friends" spun a story that Newsbusters had already spun from an article in Christianity Today on Google's exclusion of religious, political, and other possibly controversial groups from discounts under its Google Apps non-profit program, the Fox News anchors made 3 factual errors in under a minute to support a false claim that Google's non-profit restrictions exclusively target religion and churches, as I show in this video. The clips I use of Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade come from a segment of Fox News' August 26, 2011, broadcast of "Fox and Friends" (which I have not found available online) The image I use of the Google search for "thou shalt not give discounts to churches" comes from the page at bit.ly The images I use of the Newsbusters article titled "Google Won't Give Churches Same Break It Gives Other Non-Profits" come from the page at bit.ly The images I use of the Christianity Today article titled "Google Cuts Churches Out Of Nonprofit Program" come from the page at bit.ly The image I use of restrictions under Google's Non-Profit program comes from the page at bit.ly

Google News Has Archived The New York Times, TIME magazine......New Timeline Charts are Cool...Beet.TV Explores How Publishers Maximize Their Google News "Juice" Google News, the aggregation platform for news from thousands of news sources, has a short shelf life. After news stories are posted, they expire after 30 days. However, all these stories, plus millions of older articles never posted, reside on Google News Archives. Last summer, Google announced plans to archive major news sources. It recently completed most of The New York Times and all of TIME magazine as Josh Cohen of Google News told me in this interview. Besides the searchability of all this content, there is a very cool tool that allows a graphical display of search results. Check out this chart of Barack Obama's news coverage. As far as we can determine, the charts have been introduced late last year to little attention. It's cool. Go ahead, "Google News Chart" yourself! In the interview, Josh explains how Google works effectively with publishers who have subscription services or pay walls, explaining how special Google links to The Wall Street Journal and Financial Times provide visitors with a free, one story "snack." -- Andy Plesser Posted on Friday, March 21, 2008
