Brad Wilk (born September 5, 1968) is an American musician, best known as the drummer of the American rock bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave.
Wilk was born on September 5, 1968, in Portland, Oregon to a family of Polish-Jewish descent.
He lived in Chicago during his childhood, and then later settled in Southern California. Wilk started to play the drums when he was 13 years old. Wilk has stated that his biggest three influences are John Bonham, Keith Moon, and Elvin Jones. Wilk was also apparently a huge Van Halen fan in his youth, having seen the band live when he was 13.
Wilk's success as the drummer of Rage Against the Machine came from the failure of a different band; he once auditioned for a band called Lock Up, who released one album (titled Something Bitchin' This Way Comes) through Geffen records in 1989 and broke up when the album received little media attention upon release. Former Lock Up guitarist Tom Morello was looking to pick up where Lock Up left off and start a new band, and contacted Wilk, who was playing with the band Greta, to see if he was interested in playing the drums. A short while after, the duo met Zack de la Rocha, a rapper, and through de la Rocha met bassist Tim Commerford (a childhood friend of Zack's) and Rage Against the Machine was born. After frequenting the L.A. club circuit, Rage Against the Machine signed a record deal with Epic Records in 1992. That same year, the band released their self titled debut. They achieved a phenomenal amount of mainstream success and released three more studio albums.

David Eric "Dave" Grohl (born January 14, 1969) is an American rock musician, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter, who is the lead vocalist, guitarist, primary songwriter and founder of the Foo Fighters, prior to which he was the drummer in the grunge band Nirvana. He is also the drummer and co-founder of the rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures. Grohl has additionally written all the music and performed all the instruments for his short-lived side projects Late! and Probot, as well as being involved with Queens of the Stone Age numerous times throughout the past decade. He has performed session work (as a drummer) for a variety of musicians, including Garbage, Killing Joke, Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, Slash, Juliette Lewis, Tenacious D, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Lemmy Kilmister.
As a child, Grohl's family relocated from Warren, Ohio, to Springfield, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C. Three years later, when Grohl was six, his parents divorced, and Grohl grew up living with his mother.

Mark Stoermer (born June 28, 1977) is an American musician, best known for being the bassist for alternative rock band The Killers. In 2011 he released his debut solo album Another Life.
Mark Stoermer was born in Texas to an Australian father and an American mother, they moved to Las Vegas when Stoermer was three years old. His father was a big band style musician. Stoermer graduated from Chaparral High School in 1995, where he played trumpet in the Jazz ensemble. His early musical influences included Hip-hop bands such as Public Enemy and N.W.A. and later rock bands such as Nirvana, The Beatles and Pink Floyd. Stoermer began playing lead guitar for a number of local bands including Habit Rouge and The Negative Ponies. It was while playing with The Negative Ponies that he met Dave Keuning and Brandon Flowers who were performing as an early incarnation of The Killers. He was a fan of the band's unique sound and was often present at the band's gigs. In September 2002 he was offered the opportunity to become the band's permanent bass player, he accepted and completed the band's line up along with Ronnie Vannucci Jr.. Before The Killers got signed, Stoermer worked as a medical courier. Stoermer also studied Philosophy at UNLV and took music classes while in the marching band there.

It is also the first studio album with Osbourne since Never Say Die! (1978), and with Butler since Cross Purposes (1994), the first since Never Say Die! not to feature longtime keyboardist Geoff Nicholls, and the first since The Eternal Idol (1987) on the Vertigo label (outside the US and Canada).
Black Sabbath's original line-up first began work on a new studio album in 2001 with producer Rick Rubin.[9] The album's development was delayed because Osbourne was in the middle of finishing his eighth solo album Down to Earth, and the rest of the band members eventually went on to pursue other projects, including GZR and Heaven & Hell. When Black Sabbath announced the end of their hiatus on 11 November 2011, the band announced that they would restart work on a new album with Rubin.[10] In addition to original members Osbourne, Butler and guitarist Tony Iommi, they were joined at the recording sessions by drummer Brad Wilk, of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, following original drummer Bill Ward's decision to not participate in the reunion, due to a "contractual dispute".[8] The album became available for streaming on iTunes on 3 June 2013.[11]

I Rage Against the Machine (abbreviati spesso in
Rage o R.A.T.M.) sono un gruppo musicale rap metal
statunitense, formato a Los Angeles nel 1991 da Tom
Morello e Zack de la Rocha. Famosi per aver
mescolato con successo generi come hip hop, hard
rock, heavy metal, funk ed alternative rock, sono
considerati tra i maggiori esponenti del rap metal e
del rapcore, e anche uno dei gruppi che di più hanno
influenzato il nu metal.
Si distinguono per l'impegno politico, orientato a
sinistra e per le battaglie a favore delle minoranze
etniche, contro il capitalismo e la globalizzazione,
tutti temi che De la Rocha mette in evidenza nei
testi delle proprie canzoni. Fino ad oggi hanno
venduto quasi 25 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo.
Rage Against the Machine è stato inserito al 368º
posto nella lista dei 500 migliori album di tutti i
tempi stilata dalla rivista Rolling Stone.
La copertina dell'album rappresenta l'immolazione
del monaco buddista Thích Quang Duc, che si diede
fuoco per protesta contro il trattamento riservato
agli osservanti la religione buddista, sotto il
governo del Vietnam del Sud (filoamericano).
L'album esprime l'energia e la rabbia dei quattro,
con pezzi di immediata presa dopo i primi ascolti,
come Bombtrack, Take the Power Back e Know Your
Enemy.In altri pezzi, la band riesce a creare un
lento crescendo di potenza e rabbia, come nel caso
di Settle for Nothing e Bullet in the Head, mentre
in altri l'ossessiva ripetizione di parole (Freedom)
o di intere frasi la fa da padrona (Killing in the
Name: "Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me").
Sulla traccia Know Your Enemy la seconda voce è di
Maynard James Keenan, cantante dei Tool. Il testo
della canzone Freedom è stato scritto per protestare
contro l'incarcerazione dell'attivista politico
Leonard Peltier.Durante la registrazione dell'album,
il chitarrista Tom Morello ha utilizzato tecniche
particolari per cambiare radicalmente il suono
emesso dalla sua chitarra ed ottenere determinati
effetti sonori, fino quasi a far sembrare che siano
stati utilizzati dei sintetizzatori. Alla fine delle
note di copertina dell'album il gruppo ha infatti
inserito la scritta "no samples, keyboards or
synthesizers used in the making of this record", che
tradotto significa: "nessun campionatore, tastiera o
sintetizzatore è stato utilizzato durante la
realizzazione di questo disco".
Il disco si piazzò al posto numero 45 nella
classifica dei top 200 di Billboard.
Il pezzo Wake Up è presente nella colonna sonora del
film Matrix del 1999 con Keanu Reeves, mentre
Killing in the Name è presente nel videogioco Grand
Theft Auto: San Andreas.

The band was formed by New York City guitarist Edgey Pires and vocalist Delila Paz.
In January 2013, they released a 5-song EP titled New York, 'I Do Mind Dying. Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello introduced the band to his bandmate, drummer Brad Wilk, who subsequently joined the band. Their debut album, We Will Reign, was released on August 19, 2014. The album was produced by Brendan O'Brien and Brendan Benson.
The band made their network television debut on August 27, 2014, playing "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Indian Blood" on the Late Show with David Letterman. They will be opening for Robert Plant in the fall to support his Lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar tour.
Capital Chaos TV can be seen on Comcast/Surewest Channel 18 and AT&T; U-Verse Sacramento at 11:00 PM every other Saturday.
