We decided to take on the ultimate Australian 4WD adventure and head up Queenslands Cape York Peninsula to Australias most northern point.
There are a number of ways you can tackle this drive experience. You can take on the OTT or OTL (Old Telegraph line track) where you will experience the great remote wilderness of Australia. This track starts at Bramwell junction and finishes at the Jardine River. There are two bypass roads that allow travellers to get from the Peninsula Development Road to The Tip without having to navigate all of the creek crossings and rough roads. They pass mainly through the highlands to the east and west of the route, and are heavily corrugated which makes for a rough drive.
If you decide to take on the challenge of the OTT there are a number of creek crossings along the way, some more challenging than others. Along the way the track reconnects with the Bypass road so you can bypass some of the more challenging crossings if need be.
Palm creek, Gunshot, cockatoo creek are some of the more challenging crossings we take on, however there is some pretty spectacular places you will come across on the track like the beautiful elliot falls, twin falls and fruit bat falls all of which provide a great place to cool of or camp for the night.

Purpose built as Australia’s capital city, Canberra is a 3-hour drive from both the snowy mountains and the beautiful beaches of New South Wales. It is a city which honors Australia’s past and shapes its future.
With an expansive bush beauty, a relaxed attitude and colorful events, Canberra is far more than a political capital. Designed for a young nation that was just finding its feet, this city is home to many of the country's most important stories; stories that have come to define what it means to be Australian.
At the heart of Canberra’s creation story is Lake Burley Griffin. A long-standing rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne meant that neither one could be the nation’s capital. Instead, in 1911, the government launched an international design competition seeking a master plan for a brand new city.
The victor, Chicago architect Walter Burley Griffin, won with a garden city design focused on a man-made lake which fits perfectly within the landscape.
When, the nation’s Governor General stood in a dusty paddock in 1913 and announced the name of the new capital, he told the nation that the city had, lying before it, a splendid destiny.
Over 100 years later, that destiny has been fulfilled in a city that preserves the great chapters of Australia’s history and continues to write the future pages of the nation’s story.

Welcome to Austin, home to nearly 900,000 people. The capital of Texas attracts a number of young, talented university students, which has prompted a good-natured culture war between the newcomers and the city’s longtime residents. So far, the latter group seems to be winning, thanks to their dedication to the Keep Austin Weird campaign. You’ll find elements of this movement throughout the city in the shape of various art installations, eclectic eateries, and murals.
An Austin tour means an adventure in the Live Music Capital of the World, home to festivals celebrating all kinds of tunes. Whether you’re here to listen to blues, country, or a little bit of rockabilly, you’re bound to find exactly what your musical palette desires in this quirky town.
Austin is proud of its citizens, and throughout the city you’ll find monuments of ranchers, prominent musicians, and Civil War heroes. Many of these monuments are located in Austin’s numerous parks, making it an excellent place to get in touch with nature. If relaxing by a fountain seems a little too bohemian for you, visit South Congress Avenue. “SoCo” is a veritable paradise anyone who loves vintage threads and just the right amount of “weird” that makes Austin unique.
Don’t worry about keeping yourself fed – as you’ll notice in your Austin sightseeing adventure, you’ll find a food truck on every street, and bistros, cafes, and restaurants just waiting for you to dive in and sample their culinary offerings.
Whether you’re here for music, food, or to take in the local art scene, you’ll find no shortage of things to do in downtown Austin. Have you been to any of its famous festivals?

Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City, on the southern tip of Vietnam, is one of South East Asia’s emerging boom cities. Still affectionately known by many as Saigon, this is Vietnam’s largest city and its economic engine room.
Ho Chi Minh City has an irrepressible soul and an entrepreneurial energy that hums day and night. Despite almost a century of colonialism and brutal conflict, today this city is renowned for its warm hospitality, which even extends to former foes. A youthful enthusiasm flows through this city, just like the stream of scooters, motorbikes and cars that flow endlessly through its chaotic streets.
In Ho Chi Minh City, it feels as though the future has arrived… and yet the past is never far away. Wide boulevards built during the French colonial era are lined with cutting edge skyscrapers, while jasmine scented temples gently rub shoulders with chic rooftop bars
More than 9 million people call Ho Chi Minh City home and the dynamic energy of its streets is part of its charm. The city is divided into a series of numbered districts and District One is where almost all of the city’s main attractions can be found.
As the sun goes down, find yourself a seat at one of Ho Chi Minh City’s famous rooftop bars, a perfect way to soak up the buzz of the city.
Dynamic, chaotic and energizing. Ho Chi Minh city may have burst onto the world stage as a battle zone but today, there is no better destination to plug in to the pulse of 21st century Asia.

Travel video about destination Malaysia.
Malaysia is an exotic world located in the Far East, full of tradition and history. We begin our journey in Malacca, the oldest city on the southwest coast of the Peninsular Malaysia that boasts six hundred years of history. Both Portuguese and Jesuit settlers lived here for a hundred and thirty years and introduced their culture to the region. The city’s history dates back to 1403 when Hindu prince, Paramesware of the Sri Vijaya Realm in Sumatra, established a sultanate. The Chinese-dominated area of the city extends across the opposite banks of the river where the mainly two storey residential and business premises are densely packed together. In contrast, the Cheng Hoon Temple is one of the oldest temples in Malaysia and nearby is the Kampung Kling Mosque which is of ancient Sumatran design. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s modern capital city, is relatively young. It originated in the middle of the nineteenth century at the junction of two rivers. Chinese pioneers discovered an abundance of minerals here. Since then, however, things have much improved and Kuala Lumpur is now one of the cleanest cities in the world with two steel towers as its unmistakeable landmark, connected by an impressive bridge. Since 1926, tea has been cultivated in the Cameron Highlands where the mild and rainy climate is ideal for its growth. British surveyor, William Cameron, discovered this region in 1885 and soon afterwards its wooded hills were transformed into tea plantations that now attract tourists from all over the world. Sarawak is located in Borneo, the third largest island on the planet. We start our journey through this Malayan federal state, in the northwest of the island, in the capital, Kuching. The British Empire had various buildings constructed in the city but its ethnic groups were content to remain within their own surroundings. Malaysia is like a magnificent fairy tale, a melting pot of various cultures and ethnic groups amid abundant tropical vegetation. Although Malaysia has changed, it has not forgotten the rich traditions of its indigenous tribes yet it is now a country that is travelling into a new age.

Cairns is a regional city in the far north of Queensland, Australia, founded 1876. The city was named after William Wellington Cairns, then-current Governor of Queensland. It was formed to serve miners heading for the Hodgkinson River goldfield, but experienced a decline when an easier route was discovered from Port Douglas. It later developed into a railhead and major port for exporting sugar cane, gold and other metals, minerals and agricultural products from surrounding coastal areas and the Atherton Tableland region. As of June 2012, the population is approximately 153,075.

Macau, considered by many to be the Las Vegas of the Far East, is only a short ferry ride away from Hong Kong, China. When we decided to visit we thought we'd spend most of our time checking out casino; however, what we discovered was a city with a unique colonial history (Portuguese) and some of the best street food in all of Asia. In terms of attractions, most people who come to visit Macau may only come for the gambling. That's a shame. Attractions such as Senado Square and the ruins of Saint Paul Cathedral await those who explore its old city quarters. With architecture that seems as though it belongs more in Portugal or Brazil you'll find this city is east meets west in many regards. For those with adventurous taste buds regional culinary delights such as Macau egg tarts, pork chop buns and almond cookie are on plentiful display. We simply couldn't stop eating Macanese street delights during our brief stay in Macao. The following is a top attractions travel guide offering a snapshot of the best things to do in Macau in terms of cuisine and travel:

Rising from the waters of Venice Lagoon is the Italian city of Venice, a city like no other.
Begin your visit in the central district of San Marco, and walk upon one of the world’s great squares, St Mark’s Square. The square is surrounded by some of the city’s finest jewels such as St Mark’s Basilica, St Mark’s Campanile and Doge’s Palace.
Just outside stand the Columns of San Marco and San Teodoro. From here, journey along one of the world’s great aquatic thoroughfares, The Grand Canal. Glide past elegant palazzos; once the homes of wealthy merchants, today many of these palaces house important museums and galleries.
Known as The City Of Bridges, Venice has hundreds to explore. The Accademia Bridge links the San Marco district to the Accademia Gallery, and offers some of the Grand Canal’s finest views. The oldest of the Grand Canal’s four crossings is the Rialto Bridge, which today still serves as the gateway to the Rialto Markets. The most famous of all is the Bridge of Sighs, which connects Doge’s Palace to the historic prison.
Venice is a city to get lost in, so put away your map and let her surprise you. Discover waterfront promenades of The Zattere and the sleepy canals and spacious piazzas of Castello. On the tiny island of Murano, glassmakers have been creating works of incredible delicacy and color for over 700 years. Further across the lagoon, the island of Burano is famed for its brightly colored houses and exquisite lace.
Venice has shone her light into the far corners of the world for over one and a half thousand years. Just remember, this city smiles upon those who linger. So stay for a few nights, or stay for a month, and savor every moment she has to offer.

https://www.expedia.com/Taipei.d180030.Destination-Travel-Guides
Taipei is the glittering capital of Taiwan, and one of the hottest travel destinations in all of Asia. When you visit this thriving city, you’ll find collections of stunning futuristic buildings interspersed with ancient Chinese temples and traditions.
One of these temples, Longshan, is located in Wanhua, the city’s oldest neighborhood. This is where you come to find good fortune, good health, and spiritual advice of all sorts. Once you’ve attained the guidance and wisdom you may not have realized you sought, head to 228 Peace Park, where you will find the memorial to the 1949 uprisings that eventually led to Taiwan’s independence.
Don’t worry about getting around the city; the Taipei Rapid Transit System, or MRT, will take you just about anywhere you need to go. Hop on it to pay a visit to the National Palace Museum, where you’ll find a giant collection of Chinese art and artifacts. There’s over half a million pieces related to ancient Chinese royalty here, and you can spend days exploring them all.
To plan out your next move, make your way to Taipei 101. This is one of the world’s tallest buildings, and you can soar to the top for a breathtaking view of the city and pick out the next place you’ll visit. Do you see Elephant Mountain? It’s not far from the downtown area, and it’s a short climb to the top for another look at Taipei. Keep up with the nature theme and make your stop the Taipei Zoo, where you’ll meet the largest menagerie of animals in Asia.
Cap off a day of Taipei sightseeing and adventure at Shilin Night Market, where you can join the locals in finding that next great meal or landing a spectacular bargain.

25 Things to do in Warsaw, Poland | Top Attractions Tourism Guide Video Transcript:
Well hello and welcome to Warszawa. This week we are exploring the Polish capital. We've already been here a few days and it has been amazing. It has been such a pleasant surprise and unlike any part of Europe we've traveled in so far. So yeah, this week we're going to be highlighting 25 things to do around the city and we're excited to show you what it is all about.
We came to Warsaw with little to no expectations and the city completely surprised us. Our week in the capital was spent sampling Polish cuisine, learning about the city's past through museums and historical tours, and also dabbling in a bit of the nightlife. Warsaw is quickly rising through the ranks and we think it won't be long before travellers are flocking en masse. So if you're planning a trip to Poland, don't skip over the capital because there is more to Warsaw than meets the eye.
This is part of our Travel in Poland series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Polish culture, Polish arts, Polish foods, Polish religion, Polish cuisine and Polish people.

In this travel video travel guide to Malaysia, I travel to Malaysia's capital city, Kuala Lumpur, and to Terangganu, the country's second-largest city.
I start off my trip by exploring Kenyir Lake, located just west of Terangganu, which is actually the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia (it's the size of Singapore). I head to the far end of the lake by speedboat to go trekking into the hilly jungle where I come across a school of hungry fish waiting for eager tourists like myself to provide them with a cheap snack. I then head back on the lake to explore the many islands that call this lake home.
Next, I head back onto the water -- this time onto the ocean -- to do a little squid jigging as part of the first annual Terengganu International Squid Jigging Fest. Squid jigging, for those of you that don't know, is the act of fishing for squid by hand with a line and hook, something I have questionable skill doing.
Back onto dry land, I explore the market in Terangganu, one of the best places to find fresh seafood in the entire country, and try some of the region's favorite desserts and iced coffee.
For the second half of the video, I head east to the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, where I -- what else? -- find some street food in the famous Chow Kit neighborhood, followed by a little more food in Kampung Baru, a sleeping Malay enclave flanked by the city's downtown tower.
I then take the monorail (!) to explore the Petronas Towers and the KL Tower, two of the city's most famous landmarks, followed by dinner in Jalan Alor, the city's famed outdoor street food district.
Finally, it's time for a little rest and relaxation back on the west coast of Malaysia at the island of Redang, one of the country's most beautiful tropical islands, where I get to experience what beach life is like in Malaysia.

As the longest, thinnest country in the world, Chile stretches all the way from the borders with Bolivia and Peru in the north, 4,500ks to Tierra del Fuego in the south, and yet at its widest point it, in the Atacama Desert, is only 400ks across. Sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the towering Andes, this fascinating Latin American country is home to the world’s driest desert, arguably the continent’s most stunning national park, an impressive wine region and, on Chiloe Island, the home of the potato! An economically sound country that is fast become a first world nation, Chile has a huge amount to offer the modern traveller.
Unless coming in overland, most trips to Chile will start here in the nation’s capital, Santiago.
Although most guidebooks will tell you Santiago is not as exciting at Rio or as elegant and enchanting as Buenos Aires, and should be used only as a gateway to the rest of the country, I feel it is an interesting place to explore for a day or two. Like many large Latin American cities it suffers somewhat from schizophrenic urban design where the city’s impressive colonial past is often dwarfed and obscured by its more ugly modern present; tenement towers and, since its rise as a regional economic powerhouse – Chile has the highest GDP per capita in South America – glass fronted office blocks. But there are still some great sites to check out including the Plaza de Armas, the Palacio Modera, the city’s main museum, and the Mercado Central, where you can enjoy a delicious seafood lunch, beneath a roof that was actually made in Birmingham! Santiago also has some lovely hotels and is famous for its excellent dining.
But Santiago is unlikely to form the main reason for your visit to Chile, that is much more likely to lie either in the far north, in the Atacama region or in the far south in Patagonia.
From Santiago, and starting in the very south of the country in Chilean Patagonia, is Puerto Aranas, entry point for what is arguably the continents most impressive national park, Torres del Paine. Deriving its name from the bull-like horns of the park’s most impressive mountain, Torres del Paine covers a quarter of a million hectares, is home to some spectacular and varied accommodation, and is a great place to hike, horse ride or just enjoy the scenery.
ADD PLENTY OF SHOTS HERE
Moving north, we come to the beautiful Lake District around the towns of Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas. Here, up the Puelo River valley, you can do some wonderful horse riding as well as walking and kayaking. A short distance off the coast you also have Chiloe Island, which along with stunning coastal walks is also famous for being home of the potato. And further still off the coast, in fact more than 2,000 miles into the Pacific Ocean, is the extraordinary Easter Island… a land shrouded in mystery with its dramatic stone head carvings, Easter Island is one of the most remote inhabited islands on the planet.
Heading further north other notable places are the beautiful coastal towns of La Serena and Valparaiso – just a stone’s throw from the capital Santiago – and the wine district of Coquimbo where some of the country’s leading wines are manufacture
And here in the far north of the country, lies the truly extraordinary Atacama Desert. Bordering Bolivia, Peru and Argentina, is a region that’s renowned as being the driest place on earth.
Sitting in the rain shadow of both the Andes and the Chilean Coastal Range, the Atacama Desert is renowned as being the driest place on earth. It is also the region that has been driest for longest, with some suggesting a continuous arid area here dating back at least three million years. Some of the soil has no life at all, a situation NASA has exploited to test instruments for Mars missions. And, due to its otherworldly landscapes, it has been used as a location on numerous space films including Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets.
Forming the northern chain of Chile’s ‘Ring of Fire’ the region is framed by a spectacular girdle of volcanoes and plethora of fascinating geographical phenomenon.
A country fast emerging as a first world nation, Chile offers today’s traveller a safe location with some great accommodation, fine dining and world-class wines. But first and foremost she offers some of the most varied and impressive landscapes anywhere on earth.

Houses standing on piles in the water of the canals, the floating market and temples with their glistening mosaics are all living memories from the past, but the skyscrapers standing on the bank of Cho Praya and the luxury cars speeding on the highway are all forerunners of the new century. Old and new, rich and poor, backwards and ultra modern; Bangkok is a place of controversies. In the buzzing of the 8 million metropolis the Royal Palace and the buddhist monasteries are the islands of peace and silence. One can see a 5 and a half ton Buddha statue, temples covered with marble, mirrors and gold, and relics each more beautiful than the previous one. We can take a trip from Bangkok to the ruins of the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, the famous bridge of the River Kwai, but the beaches of Pattaya are not far either.

Travel video about destination Casablanca in Morocco.
Casablanca, a city of many faces, Oriental yet modern. From being a former Berber settlement to today's commercial metropolis, around 80 percent of Moroccan industry is concentrated in Casablanca, the country's financial, technological and commercial centre and also Africa's largest seaport.
Jutting into the sea is the Hassan II Mosque. 'It was He who created Heaven and Earth in six days!', this paragraph from the Koran inspired Hassan II to build his momentous mosque that extends for nine hectares, a superlative construction that could comfortably accommodate the entire Petersdom in Rome.
Casablanca is a large city surrounded by many ancient villages where life has changed little since ancient times.
The Stade Mohammed V is the centre of Casablanca and is located between the old Medina and the new town with its large residential districts. Several administrative buildings, mosques and Art Deco buildings are situated in the vicinity of the Stade Mohammed and there's also a pedestrian-only shopping mall. The head offices of numerous banks, insurance and commercial companies are located within the modern and flamboyant city centre with its imposing skyscrapers.
The souks contain a labyrinth of alleys and each usually has its own specialty. The souks are the perfect place for those who wish to experience typical Morocco as the aromas and sounds of their narrow alleys are far more descriptive than any travel guide.
Casablanca captivates all those who experience it. This former coastal city of seafarers and pirates is today both lively and contemporary with all the atmosphere and flair of a bygone time.

Darwin is the capital of the Northern Territory, in the “top end” of Australia.
Traditionally the home of the Larrakia People, Darwin was settled by Europeans in 1869. The city’s isolation has meant that its population has always been low, which is just the way its laid-back residents like it.
On Thursdays and Sundays, locals and visitors head to the Mindil Beach Markets to shop, dance and enjoy foods from all over the world. At sunset, head down to the beach as the sun dips into the Arafura Sea, then catch a movie under the stars at the Deck Chair Cinema.
Learn about the city’s military history, at the Defense of Darwin Experience and the Australian Aviation Heritage Centre. At the Darwin Museum and Art Gallery, discover the region’s local cultures and unique natural environment.
To experience the Northern Territory’s most fearsome residents, pay a visit to Crocodylus Park and Crocosaurus Cove, home to some of the largest captive saltwater crocodiles on the planet.
There are over 20 national parks in the Darwin region, including popular Litchfield National Park. Just an hour and a half from Darwin, Litchfield is set around a sandstone plateau, crisscrossed by deep, narrow gorges filled with monsoon forests, waterfalls and croc-free swimming holes.
Kakadu National Park is a three-hour drive from Darwin. Half the size of Switzerland and home to one-third of Australia’s bird species and some of the world’s oldest rock art, Kakadu is more than a national park, it’s a national treasure.

The Chinese is one of the worlds oldest civilizations. The capital, Beijing with its 11 million inhabitants is now a modern city with skyscrapers, highways and shopping malls. Its several ancient monuments are all oases of silence. The Tien’anmen square is possibly the largest and most famous square of the world. The former imperial palace, surrounded by wall was called ‘the forbidden city’ because a commoner could not enter here. At least that beautiful is the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven, where pieces from the ancient artist await the visitors. When in Beijing, one must not forget the Buddhist temples, and the zoo, where the very rare panda bears are living. Let us not forget about the gastronomical part of China, since the country’s cuisine is one of the best on Earth. From Beijing we can travel to the old capital, Xian, where the famous clay soldiers can be seen. The Ming Dinasty Tombs are only 50 kilometres far from Beijing, but the Great Wall of China is not far either.

Edinburgh, a city that is often mispronounced by first time visitors, was the first city we visited on our adventure tour around Scotland. Flying in all the way from Bangkok to visit Edinburgh for the New Year's Celebration of Hogmany was a fitting way for us to end 2013 and celebrate 2014. Having had a taste of Europe earlier on in the year in the form of visiting Finland, Estonia and Bulgaria we were thrilled to have the opportunity to come and visit Scotland's culture capital (Edinburgh) for the first time during the most festive time of the year. Arriving a few days before Hogmanay, we spent our mornings, afternoons and evenings trying to explore as much of Edinburgh as we possibly could. As a very pedestrian friendly city – with most of its main attractions located in the downtown core – we found ourselves wandering around aimlessly for hours on end marveling at the magnificent castles, old architecture and Christmas themed markets. To escape the winter chills we'd often pop into local pops to down some warm drinks and devour a plate of savory Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we tried eating a deep-fried Mars bar for the first time. For those unacquainted, basically it is just a chocolate bar dipped in batter and then deep fried in a chipper. It comes out all melted and gooey, which actually enhances its tastes considerably; however, at the cost of taking something already unhealthy and making it far less nutritionally viable. As a side trip we checked out the Looney Dook, where a bunch of mad men, women and children dash like crazy – wearing ridiculous costumes – into the freezing cold waters of the Firth of Forth. Finally, for a bit of downtime, we relaxed in our hotel room and gave ourselves the challenge of eating all kinds of different Scottish food and cuisine for the first time. Some of the most distinct things we tried included Irn Bru, Tablet and Scottish Whisky. Overall, our time in Edinburgh was brilliant and the following is a top attractions travel guide offering a snapshot of the best things to do in Edinburgh, Scotland during your next vacation to this world class city that is home to some of the most fascinating and quirky festivals.

Take a trip into the Far East by walking north from Leicester Square into Chinatown, the bustling hub of London’s East Asian community. Whether you’re looking for authentic Chinese shopping or a bite to eat, Chinatown will reward you with goods and flavours you can’t find elsewhere.
Budding chefs can find Chinese vegetables and authentic Eastern ingredients at Chinese supermarkets, while tired shoppers can relax at a reflexology specialist or investigate traditional Chinese medicine. Meanwhile, if you have an appetite for sushi or Szechuan, satay or stir fry, Chinatown has almost eighty restaurants offering cuisine from across the Far East.

London's Chinatown Great Travel Guide in London,England,UK Tourist Attraction. Traveling: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiPG42heME8d5G9MZJrU6wQ

Lets Play Galactic Civilizations 3 (1.5) ~ Episode 2 ~Lets get this party started!
***********IMPORTANT************
With 1.5 there was a bug/glitch relating to sound. As in, there was none. For some reason HDMI drivers for a small number of people got all bent and decided to not do audio at all. I didn't really notice until after the first episode and didn't get it fixed until the 4th episode. Luckily there was not a lot of combat and other noise...I guess.
Still, its fixed

It was pretty intense since the AA and the Stingers combined made it very hard for us to survive.
EoD was a beast and we wouldn't get so far without our passenger Akiba_972 who repaired our heli and used Javelins against the mobile AA and Vodnik. I also put an ammo pack + med kit on the Venom.
Hope you enjoy(ed) it! :)
(You might hate the Rock 'N' Roll part but it really fits to the Venom^)

The last time Sleater-Kinney played the 9:30 Club, a transformer threatened to blow in the midst of a summer heat wave. Or maybe the Washington, D.C., club just couldn't handle Corin Tucker's pipes. That was nine years ago, on a goodbye-for-now tour that caught the trio at the top of its game. The show was rescheduled and taped for NPR Music, and we had our closure, crossing fingers that it wouldn't be the last we'd hear from Corin Tucker, Carrie Brownstein and Janet Weiss.
In the intervening years, all three put their energies into other projects, musical and not, sometimes even with each other. But Sleater-Kinney has an electric chemistry of its own. As Brownstein says, "I really think Sleater-Kinney is a singular band with no clear predecessor or successor, so I don't think we started out creating music that you could see the palette of colors that we were using, and maybe draw a lineage."
On the first night of a two-night gig at the 9:30 Club, Sleater-Kinney went all-in with its set list. Tracks from the band's monster of a new album, No Cities To Love, felt natural alongside songs like "Oh!" and "Words And Guitar," obliterating the band's timeline by demonstrating a catalog that's always present, always on fire. -- LARS GOTRICH

Diego Rosa continued Astana’s run of form in the late-season series of Italian one-day races, with victory at Milan-Turin. Rafal Majka (Tinkoff-Saxo) came home in second after giving chase on the final climb while Rosa's teammate Fabio Aru took third place.
Astana took control of the bunch on the first of two late ascents of the Superga, setting a fast pace to bring back a number of speculative attacks, before shedding more off the back on the descent. The Kazakh team looked confident going into the final kilometres and, after nullifying yet more attacks, Rosa launched his move on the final climb with just over three kilometres to go.
There was some indecision in the bunch as to who would chase, and Wout Poels (Team Sky) finally made a move. After realising that this move was a dangerous one, Majka set off in chase. He caught Poels easily but Rosa was too far up the road already and he would have to settle for second. Thibaut Pinot (FDJ) looked good for third heading into the final kilometre but was caught and passed by Aru, clearly delighted for the victory of his teammate and domestique.
“Today was a really nice race for me. I’m from Torino and there were lots of people here for me. The team is really strong at the moment. This is a very beautiful victory and in Torino it is perfect,” Rosa said after the stage. “Normally I work for the team but today was a good opportunity for me. Now I will look forward to Lombardia.”
How it happened
The 156-rider peloton rolled out of San Giuliano Milanese just after midday as the series of Italian one-day races continued ahead of Il Lombardia this weekend. The race saw a number of riders returning to action after length layoffs, notably Richie Porte, who has been out of competition since the end of the Tour de France. Tre Valli Varesine winner Vincenzo Nibali wouldn’t be riding, however.
Samuele Conti (Southeast), Alessandro Malaguti (Nippo Fantini), Nicolas Lefraçois (Novo Nordisk), Luca Chirico (Bardiani CSF) and Daniel Teklehaimanot (MTN Qhubeka) got away after eight kilometres of racing. Averaging 45kph in the first hour, the breakaway had a lead of over five minutes at one point.
Led by Movistar and Astana, the peloton kept them at close quarters and the gap never grew much more than that. The two teams looked eager to ensure the race came back together before the finish and set a blistering pace on the front. With 40 kilometres remaining the five out front had 3:26 but less than 10 kilometres later that had been cut down by two minutes. The catch seemed inevitable by then and despite a last-gasp surge from Malaguti it was gruppo compatto with 26km remaining.
With the break safely back in their ranks, Team Sky took the front of the peloton with world time trial champion Vasil Kiryienka using his turn of speed to shed a few riders. Following his teammates’ lead Leopold Konig attacked on the final ascent of the Superga before the finish. In the form of Paolo Tiralongo, Astana claimed responsibility for chasing down the Czech rider and brought him back.
The bunch, still led by Astana, had been severely diminished by the time they reached the flat again with only around 30 riders remaining. The ceasefire ended when they hit the bottom of the Superga once again. Matteo Montaguti (AG2R-La Mondiale) ignited things, swiftly followed by Majka. The Polish rider didn’t get too far before they were both brought back.
There were a number of speculative moves but it was Diego Rosa (Astana) that made the most effective with just under three kilometres to go. Having already dragged back another move, Majka went to the front to drag him back. The Tinkoff-Saxo rider had no initial reaction when Poels went with two kilometres remaining but managed to peg him back and set off in chase of Rosa.
Inside the barriers, Rosa could almost smell the finish line and victory. He put in one final dig to avoid getting caught and had plenty of time to celebrate as he crossed the line.

Still, its fixed now. Episode 4 will have game sound but episodes 1 2 and 3 will not. Apologies in advance!
*******************
Greetings and salutations everyone! Here is my second episode! Still doing a lot of foundation building as well as getting my war machine up and running! Woo!
Still at war with two peeps but that seems far for the course.
I am getting friendly with the Icoianians though, so maybe....maybe I might have an ally later? Wouldn't that be neat!
Apologies for the weird 8ish minutes of blacks at the end....no idea what happened there.
As always, I play as the Imperiurm of Man
42 enemies
Default settings on most everything EXCEPT:
Insane Galaxy size
Genius level opponents.
The new ride is here! Hop aboard! I have my eyes set on RULING DA GALAXY!
Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe!
