This is the third track of Billy Joel's six album 52nd Street, which was released in 1978. This was the A-side of the single, along with 52nd Street (song) on the B-side. Chicago band members Peter Cetera and Donnie Dacus helped Joel with the back up vocals and the outro of the song. This song is thought to be a tribute to comedian Richard Lewis. At the end of the song, you can hear Joel say "Azula".
