Jimmy Wales - Two Views of the "Wiki" Concept
Complete video at: fora.tv Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales contrasts two predominant views surrounding the "wiki" concept: the "Emergent Phenomena" model and the user "Community" point-of-view. ----- Vision: Wikipedia and the Future of Free Culture Vision is one of the most powerful forms of long-term thinking. Jimmy Wales, founder and president of the all-embracing online encyclopedia Wikipedia, examines how vision drives and defines that project and its strategy - and how it fits into the even larger world and prospects of "free culture." "The design of Wikipedia," said its founder and president Jimmy Wales, "is the design of community." When Wikipedia was started in 2001, all of its technology and software elements had been around since 1995. Its innovation was entirely social - free licensing of content, neutral point of view, and total openness to participants, especially new ones. The core engine of Wikipedia, as a result, is "a community of thoughtful users, a few hundred volunteers who know each other and work to guarantee the quality and integrity of the work." Wikipedia, already enormous, continues to accelerate its growth. It is one of the top 20 websites, with 5 billion page views monthly. As an encyclopedia, it is larger than Britannica and Encarta combined and is now in so many languages, only 1/3 of the total Wikipedia is in English. Don't ever trust Wikipedia!!!
Dont ever trust wikipedia. Jimmy Wales(who used to run porn sites ) a storng supporter of the zionist lobby in America. Dont ever trust a crook like him. "Wikipedia is an internet encyclopedia, that anyone can edit and add information. Wikipedia claims it's articles are based on a totally neutral point of view(as the claimed). It's size is formidable, at 2.5 billion views a month." But Once you get below the surface, you find moderators that follow an agenda, which clearly takes a Pro-Jewish point of view. The project of wikipedia is an attempt to control student research on the Internet. For example any subject Googled will show Wikipedia as one of the first entries. Type in the word Bolshevik, and the first entry is Wikipedia. Explore their version, and you won't be the slightest mention that the movement was a JEWISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, that was responsible for 20000000 deaths. Therefore Wikipedia's claim: ~ 'We are an internet encyclopedia with a neutral stance' ~ is absurd.

msm media lies
tonight on the six pm news kalb must have used two town talk stories for news. the first one was a story the town talk posted to their website at 12:34 pm cst captioned: "ethics hearing for lawson and brown postponed until march." kalb anchor dale hoffman, begin the bit by stating "published reports." we weren't able to record the "published" part but if you play with the video timer bar you can hear when mr. hoffman said "...reports." although, whoever wrote the script for that bit was very clever in writing "reports" in the plural, the town talk story and a central la politics blog post "lawson & brown ethics hearing continued!" time-stamped 11:54 am cst are the only "published reports" to be found. furthermore, a search of the state ethics board website returns only the letter to councilman myron lawson and bridgett brown both dated 23 october 2007. next is a wikipedia story. kalb must have culled this story as well from the town talk website as this morning they have a story by mandy m. goodnight captioned "false information about pineville, bolton getting new principals spread online." what kalb doesnt tell you is that if you go to the wikipedia entry for kalb-tv and click on the "revision history of kalb-tv" tab and then scroll down you will find that on for instance 10 and 19 april 2007 an ip# 12.5.1.207 resolves to a computer registered to ...media general. this would appear to be a violation by media general/kalb of, including but not limited to, wikipedia's <b>...</b>

Wikipedia editors question site's blackout
Can the world live without Wikipedia for a day? The shutdown of one of the internet's most-visited sites is not sitting well with some of its volunteer editors, who say the protest of anti-piracy legislation could threaten the credibility of their work. "My main concern is that it puts the organisation in the role of advocacy, and that's a slippery slope," said editor Robert Lawton, a Michigan computer consultant who would prefer that the encyclopedia stick to being a neutral repository of knowledge. "Before we know it, we're blacked out because we want to save the whales." Wikipedia has shut down access to its English-language site for 24 hours . Instead of encyclopedia articles, visitors see information about the two congressional bills and details about how to reach lawmakers. It is the first time the English site has been blacked out. Wikipedia's Italian site came down once briefly in protest to an internet censorship bill put forward by the Berlusconi government. The bill did not advance. The shutdown adds to a growing body of critics who are speaking out against the legislation. But some editors are so uneasy with the move that they have blacked out their own user profile pages or resigned their administrative rights on the site to protest. Some likened the site's decision to fighting censorship with censorship. One of the site's own "five pillars" of conduct says that Wikipedia "is written from a neutral point of view". The site strives to "avoid advocacy, and we <b>...</b>

SW:TOR - Jaesa-Light (Sith Warrior Companion)
~SPOILERS~ This is Jaesa Willsaam's storyline during the Sith Warrior campaign. This is being played with the point of view of a Light Sith. Jaesa is one of few SW:TOR companions who are influenced based on the player's alignment. Jaesa is voiced by Rachael Leigh Cook. Warning: She is NOT a romance option if she joins you as a light-side companion. There are other videos floating around that show scenes of Jaesa-Dark and her romance. I, personally, do not like her dark-side version. She is repulsive and does not hold a candle to a heart-felt romance like Ashara's, Vette's, or Kira's. If you liked Jaesa's light-side story and wished that she was a fully romanceable option (Light and Dark), please go to the Star Wars: The Old Republic Official forum and let your voice be known! Remember that talking about her is a big spoiler to many and to use the "spoilers" forum for elaboration. Thanks! Anaconda **All footage is from content copyrighted by Electronic Arts. Spawn Point - Mushrooms
In this series we examine conclusively which blocks mobs do or do not spawn on. Although the minecraft wiki can supply answers to many of the questions this series will ask there are two issues with this: 1. The wiki can be edited by anyone and filled with speculation, and; 2. Many people will refuse to believe certain facts on the wiki unless they are presented with hard proof (which can be difficult to come by). That's where this series comes in - it provides irrefutable proof of what mobs can and can't spawn on. If you have been in this position, this app is for you! The Art of War is a Chinese military treatise that was written by Sun Tzu in the 6th century BC and is one of the oldest and most successful books on military strategy in the world.. He taught that strategy was not planning in the sense of working through a to-do list, but rather that it requires quick and appropriate responses to changing conditions. Planning works in a controlled environment, but in a competitive environment, competing plans collide, creating unexpected situations. en.wikipedia.org Art of War As strategy is important in war, so it is very important in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling and MMA. Just ask all the UFC MMA fighters that face off against anyone from Greg Jacksons camp! Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu living legend Rickson Gracie said it best when describing flow: The weight, the momentum, the transition from one movement to another thats the amazing thing about it. You must allow yourself to go like automatic pilot, you dont know exactly where youre going until the movement happens because you can not anticipate whats going to happen.you must allow yourself to be at the zero pointin the neutral point, and be relaxed and connected with the valuations, so you pretty much flow with the go.and this is the <b>...</b>

My everyday makeup routine
Amazing music by the danish band "Blue Foundation" with "Save This Town". This is actually about a place in Copenhagen called Christiania. Quote from Wikipedia. - "Freetown Christiania (Danish: Fristaden Christiania) is a self-proclaimed autonomous neighbourhood of about 850 residents, covering 34 hectares (85 acres) in the borough of Christianshavn in the Danish capital Copenhagen. From an official point of view, Christiania is regarded as a large commune, but its relation to the authorities has a unique status in being regulated by a special law, the Christiania Law of 1989 which transfers parts of the supervision of the area from the municipality of Copenhagen to the state. Christiania has been a source of controversy since its creation in a squatted military area in 1971. Its cannabis trade was tolerated by authorities until 2004. Since then, measures for normalising the legal status of the community have led to conflicts, and negotiations are ongoing. Among many Christiania residents, the community is known as staden ('the town'), short for fristaden ('the freetown')" The government of Denmark wants to close this special place down. Many citizens of Copenhagen disagree, and are quite upset about these plans. And that's why "Blue Foundation" are singing about saving "this town". On a personal note this track reminds me of the sweet summer, sunshine, happy people hanging out at the sidewalkcafé's in my beloved capital of Copenhagen. Enjoy.

Prime Minister Abe of Japan Participates in a Joint Press Availability with President Bush (2007)
thefilmarchive.org April 27, 2007 Shinzō Abe (born 21 September 1954) was the 90th Prime Minister of Japan, elected by a special session of the National Diet on 26 September 2006. He was Japan's youngest post--World War II prime minister and the first born after the war. Abe served as prime minister for nearly twelve months, before resigning on 12 September 2007. He was replaced by Yasuo Fukuda, beginning a string of Prime Ministers who could not keep the office for more than one year. The Asahi Shimbun also accused Abe and Shōichi Nakagawa of censoring a 2001 NHK program concerning "The Women's International War Crimes Tribunal". The "tribunal" was a private committee to adjudicate comfort women; about 5000 people including 64 casualties from Japan and abroad attended. The committee members, who claimed to be specialists of international law, claimed that Emperor Hirohito and the Japanese government were responsible for the use of comfort women. The TV program, however, did not mention the full name of the tribunal and keywords such as 'Japanese troops' or 'sexual slavery', and it also cut the sight of the tribunal, the host grouping, statements of the organizer, and the judgement itself. Instead, it presented criticism against the tribunal by a right-wing academic and his statement that 'there was no abduction of sex slaves and they were prostitutes'. On the day following the Asahi Shimbun report, Akira Nagai, the chief producer and primary person responsible for the <b>...</b>
