Perfection is, broadly, a state of completeness and flawlessness.
The term perfection is used to designate a range of diverse, if often kindred, concepts. These concepts have historically been addressed in a number of discrete disciplines, notably mathematics, physics, chemistry, ethics, aesthetics, ontology, and theology.
The form of the word long fluctuated in various languages. The English language had the alternates, "perfection" and the Biblical "perfectness."
The word "perfection" derives from the Latin "perfectio", and "perfect" — from "perfectus." These expressions in turn come from "perficio" — "to finish", "to bring to an end." "Perfectio(n)" thus literally means "a finishing", and "perfect(us)" — "finished", much as in grammatical parlance ("perfect").
Many modern languages have adopted their terms for the concept of "perfection" from the Latin: the French "parfait" and "perfection"; the Italian "perfetto" and "perfezione"; the Spanish "perfecto" and "perfección"; the English "perfect" and "perfection"; the Russian "совершенный" (sovyershenniy) and "совершенcтво" (sovyershenstvo); the Croatian and Serbian "savršen" and "savršenstvo"; the Czech "dokonalost"; the Slovak "dokonaly" and "dokonalost"; the Polish "doskonały" and "doskonałość."
The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3-Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M.
M3 models have been derived from the E30, E36, E46, E90/E92/E93, and F80 3-series, and sold with coupe, saloon and convertible body styles. Upgrades over the "standard" 3-Series automobiles include more powerful and responsive engines, improved handling/suspension/braking systems, aerodynamic body enhancements, lightweight components, and interior/exterior accents with the tri-colour "M" (Motorsport) emblem.
The last M3 coupe was produced in Germany on 5 July 2013, replaced by the F82/F83 M4 Coupe and convertible starting with the 2015 model year, but the M3 name will remain in use for the saloon version.
The BMW M3 remains the only car ever to have earned more titles than the venerable Porsche 911 in Motorsport, and also is the most successful touring, and grand touring car ever to have participated in racing.
Based on the 1986 model year E30 3-Series, the E30 M3 used the BMW S14 engine.
The BMW E36 is a compact executive car which was produced by BMW from 1990 to 1999. It was introduced in October 1990 in the 4-door sedan body style. The model range was later expanded to include the coupe, convertible, station wagon ("Touring") and hatchback ("Compact"). The BMW E46 replaced the E36 sedans in 1998, however the E36 coupe and station wagon models remained in production until 1999, the convertible models remained in production until 2000 and the hatchback models remained in production until 2001.
The hatchback body style, known as the BMW Compact, was introduced in 1994 starting with the 318ti, being very popular in Europe but largely unsuccessful in North America. The "Touring" estate was sold in Europe from 1995, but was not available in the United States. Even though the BMW factory was producing its own E36 convertibles, the Baur "Top Cabriolet" conversion was also available.
The E36 was a successful model which laid strong foundations for the BMW E46's success in subsequent years. For every year of its production, the E36 was named in Car and Driver Magazine's "10 Best Cars" list (see Car and Driver Ten Best). Additionally, the E36 M3 was named Car and Driver's best handling car for over $30k in 1997.

In Episode 04 of the Quest for Perfection on the 1997 BMW E36 M3 sedan, I remove the broken, dry-rotted, and failing front windshield cowl and replace it with a brand new cowl replacement kit from ECS Tuning. The kit for the sedan comes with two cowl pieces, compared to one single cowl piece for both coupe and convertible. All kits includes grommets and fasteners to complete the job. I remove the windshield wiper arms, airbox grill, old cowl, clean underneath where tow decades of dirt and grime have found a home, then install the new cowl. But all does not go according to plan and I run into trouble about 90% of the way to completion. If you listen to my advice, follow my steps, and pay attention to the mistakes I made, chances are you're removal and replacement experience will go smoot...
In Episode 03 of the Quest for Perfection on the 1997 BMW E36 M3 sedan, I remove the old, failing, and broken rear rubber window seal trim and replace it with a brand new seal from ECS Tuning. The seal comprises two pieces and takes just needle-nose pliers, plastic body panel pry tools, and some decent patience to perform this DIY garage project. I show you how to remove your existing seal without breaking the glass, walk through cleaning all of the rain gutters of dirt, soil, and debris, and how to properly install the new rubber window seal parts to create a perfect water-tight fit that will not leak moisture at any point in the future. If you take your time, and do things right the first time, you should never have to perform this project a second time. Do it once, do it right! E36 M...

In Episode 02 of the Quest for Perfection on the 1997 BMW E36 M3 sedan, I remove the MOMO aluminum cue-ball shift knob from the previous owner as well as the leather shift boot. We thoroughly clean and recondition the shift boot, clean the shifter area of the car, and then install the new ZHP shift knob. Normally you pull straight up on the OEM shift knobs to remove them, but some aftermarket shift knobs like MOMO use small allen screws to attach to a shift linkage in order to be adaptable to all types of cars. If you have an aftermarket shift knob and try to simply pull it off, chances are there are allen screws that will prevent you from removing the knob. Check for screws, loosen them, and the knob should slide off. Attach the new OEM shift knob with the groove centered on the groove ...

In the first episode of the Quest for Perfection for the new-to-me 1997 BMW E36 M3 Sedan, I tackle the trunk area of the car and clean/detail the carpets and wheel well areas -- including the spare tire and accessories. Perfection is not reachable, but we'll see how far we can recondition and preserve this 56,000-mile car back to as new as possible with old fashioned elbow grease, repair, and resilience. ***LIKE THIS VIDEO*** https://youtu.be/wopX1jt2GgY ***SUBSCRIBE TO THIS CHANNEL*** http://www.bit.ly/1kBh8u2 ***VISIT OUR WEB SITE*** http://www.chrisworld.tv http://www.chrisworldtv.com ***FOLLOW ON SOCIAL MEDIA*** Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ChrisWorldTV Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chrisworldtv/ ***IMPORTANT LINKS*** Porsche: http://www.porsche.com Rennlist: http://ww...
