PLEASE Make a Response Video! Mirror this Video. First 10 Minutes www.youtube.com Viacom owns the Video Sharing web site called Spike.com ( Until Recently ifilm). CHECK THIS BLOG! DancedWithTheDevil.blogspot.com Spike.com is LOADED with YouTube user videos! And Viacom is suing YouTube over the early copyrighted clips? Spike.com has uploaded YouTube user videos, and has done so consistently since YouTube began RIGHT UP TO THE PRESENT. Viacon's Spike.com CLAIMS to view EACH and EVERY video uploaded to ensure that NO copyrighted content gets posted. Then why do they constantly allow well known and famous, YouTubers, ( and Everyday YouTube users, LIKE YOU) to get posted on their Video Sharing Site!!!!!. Also, the Dark, Copyright Past of iflim Spike begins to be revealed. Why did NBC have the Late Night Material Removed in 1985? We know that Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog clips were removed, but HOW MUCH MORE? How many Total Views?

Google must divulge the viewing habits of every user who has ever watched any video on YouTube, a US court has ruled. The ruling comes as part of Google's legal battle with Viacom over allegations of copyright infringement. Digital rights group the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) called the ruling a "set-back to privacy rights". The viewing log, which will be handed to Viacom, contains the log-in ID of users, the computer IP address (online identifier) and video clip details. While the legal battle between the two firms is being contested in the US, it is thought the ruling will apply to YouTube users and their viewing habits everywhere. The UK's Premier League association is also seeking class action status with Viacom on the issue, alleging YouTube, which was bought by Google in 2006, has been used to watch football highlights. Following the launch of its billion-dollar lawsuit, YouTube The US court declined Viacom's request that Google be forced to hand over the source code of YouTube, saying it was a "trade secret" that ...

YouTube vs. Viacom The Battle Explained
YouTube vs. Viacom The Battle Explained
In which Hank argues with Hank about the Viacom v YouTube lawsuit. Important points: 1. Yes, YouTube knew that copyrighted clips were being uploaded. 2. Viacom once tried to buy YouTube 3. Viacom's Spike.com steals videos from independent video creators constantly. 4. Viacom wants YouTube to manually approve every video on the site, which would destroy YouTube In my opinion, YouTube should pay some reparations to Viacom based on the amount of views on content owned by Viacom. YouTube should continue to develop it's Content ID system, which has proved to be better at identifying copyrighted material than manual identification. Viacom should drop the suit, and settle out of court for something like $3 CPM of views on copyrighted clips.

Viacom PWNED on Piracy
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Coulton gave spike's predessor permission to upload the video. (See extensive annotations.) However, viacom OWES ME sixty cents, because, hilariously, they pirated THIS VIDEO. Ask Viacom where my sixty cents is: www.viacom.com Jonathan Coulton's Flickr video: www.jonathancoulton.com Where Is Jonathan Coulton's 37 dollars? In which John Green examines the complicated relationship between Viacom and piracy: Viacom has filed a lawsuit against YouTube seeking more than a billion dollars in damages for the copyright infringement that was rife in the early days of YouTube. But John proves that spike.com, which is owned by Viacom, has been placing ads against content that doesn't belong to them for years, including Jonathan Coulton's brilliant music video "Flickr." This video includes a snippet of "Flickr," which is--like this video--released under a Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike Creative Commons license. All of which is to say: Viacom, if you steal my video like you stole Coulton's, I will sue you.
