A video showcasing the classic game Duke Nukem 3D with the High Resolution Pack (which can be downloaded at this address: hrp.duke4.net HRP is still in the beta-stage, so there are still characters and plenty of textures that need to be remade. This video are showing a big part of the opening level of Episode 1, with the HRP plenty of the world-textures have been replaced with a much more higher-resolution texture as well as all of the weapons/key cards and also the characters have gone from sprites to completely 3D, including Duke Nukem himself. eduke32.com

Duke Nukem 3D for Android - Review (Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch)
Download: www.smartkeitai.com In this video, we review the 15-year old classic first-person shooter game known as Duke Nukem 3D. If you were a gamer back then, then you know this game helped boost the FPS genre of gaming. If you're a younger gamer and missed this one, then this will be a history lesson. For its time, Duke Nukem 3D pushed the limits with vulgar and graphic visuals and language. This Android port costs 99 cents in the Android Market, which unlocks the first episode of levels, then you can get more through in-app purchases. Note: Duke Nukem 3D is also available for the iPhone. Game Description: Los Angeles. Under attack by aliens intent on stealing our chicks for breeding. Duke Nukem springs into action dealing damage like only he can, making his "insightful" comments along the way. If you've never played a Duke game, this is your chance to see why he's been a fan favorite since 1991, with over 18 original Duke Nukem games since that time. Duke Nukem is not the typical faceless hero -- he's an in-your-face hero who has a personality that doesn't quit. Yes, it's a B-movie plot, but that's what makes it fun! Game Features: * Optimized for all newer multi-touch devices * Native support for large tablet sized devices such as the Xoom * Dual stick or new "drag to look" controls * Installs to SD by default * Includes Episode 1 * Episode 2 and 3 available via Google In App Billing This game was demoed on the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch. Hey gamers it's Andrea Rene for Clevver Games. If you didn't get enough alien ass kicking action in Duke Nukem Forever then you're in luck! It was announced that a Danish studio called Interceptor has been given the thumbs up from Gearbox to create a remake of the classic Duke Nukem 3D! . The game will be released later this year and will be powered by the Unreal Engine-3. Original Duke voice actor Jon St. John will return to record original material for the reboot and there will be a full multiplayer element. Players wills see classic maps from the 1996 game like Hollywood Holocaust with support for 16 players. Modes include Dukematch, Capture the Babe, and a pseudo-Horde mode where gamers can play as Duke, Assault Trooper, Pig Cop or General Graves. . Duke Nukem 3D - High Resolution Pack v3
This is the third version of HRP - addon for classic FPS game Duke Nukem 3D. There are many improvements - 3D models, hi-res textures, detail mapping (which makes hi-res textures look even more hi-res), glowmaps (which makes some parts of models skins glow in dark places). You can get this from hrp.duke4.net . Some updates can be found earlier on http . You will need the original game. If you don't own full version, you can download shareware version of www.3drealms.com - this means addon even works with shareware version! Video quality is much worse here

Duke Nukem 3D
Duke Nukem 3D is a first-person shooter developed by 3D Realms and published by Apogee Software in 1996. It is a sequel to the platform games Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem II published by Apogee. An expansion pack, Plutonium Pak, was released in November 1996. Duke Nukem 3D features the adventures of the titular macho Duke Nukem (voiced by Jon St. John), who fights back an alien invasion on Earth. Reception of Duke Nukem 3D has been largely positive. Reviewers praised the interactivity of the environment and the humor within the game. However, the game's erotic elements and portrayal of women have incited controversy. Levels were also designed in a fairly non-linear manner such that players can advantageously use air ducts, back doors and sewers to avoid enemies or find hidden secrets, which also makes the levels well suited to deathmatch. These locations are also filled with objects with which the player can interact, that either benefit the player in some form (light switches make it easier to see, while water fountains and broken hydrants provide some health points) or simply provide a touch of diversion (tipping strippers provokes a humorous quote from Duke and sometimes a provocative reveal from the dancer). Duke Nukem 3D features multiplayer. In 1996 at the time of its release, Internet-based gaming was just beginning. Duke Nukem 3D did not support the TCP/IP client/server model, instead basing its network play on the IPX LAN, modem or serial cable. Duke Nukem 3D ...

This is the end movie of Episode 3 of Duke Nukem 3D - "Shrapnel City". "It's down to you and me, you one eyed freak!" After defeating the The Cycloid Emperor, the final boss (not including Atomic Edition version), Duke Nukem once again proves himself as a man of honor that keeps his word, as he kicks the Cycloid's eye though the stadium gate and scores. "The last thing that's gonna go thru your mind before you die... Is my size 13 boot!" [This is the PC version] [Thanks to DOSBox team for creating the 8th wonder]

Duke Nukem 3D Comparison (PLaystation vs Sega Saturn vs Nintendo 64)
I can't really think of any other game that appeared on all three of these systems. There are games that appeared on the PS1 and Saturn, the N64 and the Saturn, and the PS1 and the N64, but this is the only game I can think of off the top of my head that had a port to all three. Doom doesn't count, because Doom 64 was a completely different game. All footage in this vid is taken on their original consoles running original copies of each game. Anyway, this is a video comparison of Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown on the PS1, Duke Nukem 3D on the Sega Saturn, and Duke Nukem 64 on the N64. To be honest, I wasn't a PC gamer growing up, so I have only played small bits of the PC original Duke, so I'm not an expert on which is it the most true to the PC. As for which version is the best, well, each has it's appeal. I really can't choose. The N64 version has coop, and split screen multiplayer which is good, and it adds new areas to some of the levels (not to mention edited redesigned areas, but that's not a big deal), but the lack of music kind of drives me crazy. The PS1 version zips by, but has some framerate issues. It also has a remixed soundtrack, but for some reason, the sound in the game is muffled. I could be my personal copy, but it doesn't come in to loudly on my TV for some reason. The PS1 version supports link cable multiplayer. The Saturn version looks better and has a more stable frame rate than the PS1 version, but is slowest paced version. It's the one I'm most used to ...

First Level of Duke Nukem 3D in Minecraft
Alright, so here's the scoop. I was playing Minecraft near religiously. I was a regular on The Shaft podcast's Minecraft Server. I had recreated the first level of Duke Nukem 3D in their server, and was about to create a video proving I had done so when the server crashed and rolled back to days before I had even started it. It took me over 20 hours to create that beast, so I was pretty damn upset. Upset to the point of not ever playing Minecraft again for the next six months. Finally, I decided to remake this beast (Single player, this time in order to remove the threat of a rollback) and I admittedly did use some mods to make the process easier, but I feel I've earned it, what with having to build this massive project twice over. So please, enjoy the video showcasing it. Keep in mind, I didn't bother showing the secrets in the video (All of the ones from the game are here with even more subtle references and bonus secrets) So if you'd like to try the map yourself, give it a download at the link below and drop it in your Minecraft Saves folder!
