Disorder (band)

Disorder are a hardcore punk band that formed in the Bristol area of the United Kingdom in 1980, and has existed with varying line-ups to this day. Disorder are a band who aligned with politically charged punk bands .

History

Disorder formed in 1980 in Bristol. The original line-up was Steve Curtis (vocals), Steve Allen (guitar), Nick Peters (bass guitar), and Virus (drums), although Steve Robertson soon replaced Peters, and this line-up recorded the first two EP's by the band. The band sent a demo tape to local punk label Riot City Records, but the label opted not to sign them, and instead they formed their own Disorder Records label along with Heartbeat Records and Riot City boss Simon Edwards. A series of events led to line-up changes: Robertson split up with girlfriend Beki Bondage (of Vice Squad) and began glue-sniffing. Virus got into trouble with the police over the ownership of his new drumkit, and Dean also left, later to be employed as a toilet cleaner in Taunton. He was replaced by Taf (Phil Lovering, formerly of The X-Certs), who took over bass guitar duties. Taf would be the only constant member of the band in the years that followed, which saw an ever-changing line-up. Disorder were part of the "protest punk" movement, and were one of the bands that spearheaded the Bristol punk scene in the early 1980s. The BBC DJ John Peel described their early singles as sounding like Triumph Bonneville motorbikes.

+/- (band)

+/-, or Plus/Minus, is an American indietronic band formed in 2001. The band makes use of both electronic and traditional instruments, and has sought to use electronics to recreate traditional indie rock song forms and instrumental structures. The group has released two albums on each of the American indie labels Teenbeat Records and Absolutely Kosher, and their track "All I do" was prominently featured in the soundtrack for the major film Wicker Park. The group has developed a devoted following in Japan and Taiwan, and has toured there frequently. Although many artists append bonus tracks onto the end of Japanese album releases to discourage purchasers from buying cheaper US import versions, the overseas versions of +/- albums are usually quite different from the US versions - tracklists can be rearranged, artwork with noticeable changes is used, and tracks from the US version can be replaced as well as augmented by bonus tracks.

!!! is a dance-punk band that formed in Sacramento, California, in 1996 by lead singer Nic Offer. Its name is most commonly pronounced "Chk Chk Chk" ([/tʃk.tʃk.tʃk/]). Members of !!! came from other local bands such as The Yah Mos, Black Liquorice and Popesmashers. They are currently based in New York City, Sacramento, and Portland, Oregon. The band's sixth full-length album, As If, was released in October 2015.

Background and history

!!! is an American band formed in the summer of 1995 by the merger of part of the group Black Liquorice and Popesmashers. After a successful joint tour, these two teams decided to mix the disco-funk with more aggressive sounds and integrate the hardcore singer Nic Offer from the The Yah Mos. The band's name was inspired by the subtitles of the movie The Gods Must Be Crazy, in which the clicking sounds of the Bushmens' Khoisan language were represented as "!". However, as the bandmembers themselves say, !!! is pronounced by repeating thrice any monosyllabic sound. "Chk Chk Chk" is the most common pronunciation, which the URL of their official website and the title of their Myspace page suggest is the preferred pronunciation.

Disorder (2015 film)

Disorder (French: Maryland) is a 2015 French drama film directed by Alice Winocour about a home invasion starring Matthias Schoenaerts and Diane Kruger. It was screened in competition in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.

The film will be released on 25 March 2016, in the United Kingdom by Soda Pictures.

Plot

Vincent (Matthias Schoenaerts), is an ex-soldier suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. He is hired to protect the wife of a wealthy businessman while he's out of town at their luxurious villa, Maryland, in the French Riviera.

On 1 October 2014, Deadline reported that Matthias Schoenaerts and Diane Kruger would co-star in the film.

Filming began in the French Riviera on 15 October 2014. Most part of the film takes place in the Domaine la Dilecta at the Cape of Antibes. The beach scenes were shot at the Plage de Passable in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. A car chase scene was shot in Col d'Èze on 14 November 2014. Production completed on 11 December 2014.

Disorder 6 (ディスオーダー 6, Disuōdā 6) is a suspense visual novel developed and published by 5pb. for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is a sequel to Dunamis 15 in Suspense-fiction Adventure series, and it was released in Japan on August 22, 2013, featuring six chapters and 8 endings.

Story

One rainy night, a young man wakes up in what appears to be a warehouse. On his right arm is an attached handcuff. The chain is connected to the left hand of a mysterious girl named Shiina. She seems to call him by the name Jō, but she doesn’t remember anything. In fact, neither of them have any recollections of anything prior to their awakening.

“What exactly am I?”

Without a single idea of what’s going on, the two of them search for an exit. Before long, they come across the corpse of a woman wearing a white robe.
