Hey guys, you're here today with Andra Carmina from http://www.tarotforbeginners.com. I'm going to take you through a little journey beginning with the Major Arcana which is comprised of the first twenty-two cards of a regular tarot deck. Okay? We're going to start with the Fool today, which is considered to be the card number zero of the Major Arcana. Sometimes it can also be card number twenty-two because, as I'll show you in a minute, it can be represented as an ending and a new beginning of something as well. It's kind of like a change in levels or change in life where something ends and something new is beginning. Let's get started. The Fool is card number zero. I have here a few variations of the different Fool cards in various decks. The three that I chose, the first one is the Rohrig tarot which is my personal deck that I work with. It looks like this. I'm just going to show you quickly. You'll also have the pictures there so you can see it more clearly. Basically, it's the deck that you will be seeing me work with throughout. I have other ones that I will show you as well. Here we have the Shadowscapes Tarot and also the Deviant Moon tarot. Each of these we're going to go into them in more detail. Let's break it down little bit by little bit and then we're going to go back to these so you can see all of these different elements. All right? The card meanings. The Fool can be card number zero, which is the beginning or starting point in the journey, or it can also sometimes be card number twenty-two which is the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one. Depending on how you want to interpret that, it really can mean new beginnings but also the ending of something and beginning of something else. All right. Here we have, so I said new beginnings, new adventures. If you look at the card you see that this person is sort of leisurely strolling around and excited for whatever is next. They want new adventures. They want excitement. They're just kind of taking things as they come. Going with the flow of things. It's also about not having all the details and not really caring. So, you're kind of going forward anyway, regardless of whether you have all the pieces that you need. In this case when we start something we usually don't know everything that is coming up, right? That's why I put here that there's a bit of an energy of aloofness, being foolish, naïve, innocent, carefree, looking at the world with rose glasses. Typically when we start something new, whether it's moving somewhere, a new relationship, a new business venture, anything like that what happens is we tend to make it more positive than it really is because we don't have all the details or the pieces that it involves. It's only when we take that leap that we're actually going to find out these things or they will be revealed to us as we go along. Now, I did put there some warning signals. Again, it says, pay attention. Look at danger signs. Listen to your intuition. Notice that this person is about to fall off a cliff. It's just reiterating that. Notice how this person is looking up, right? They're not really looking ahead, they're not really looking around them to see maybe there might be potential dangers. Hence again, the literal meaning of the Fool which is don't be foolish. Look at what you're getting yourself involved into or do your research. Make sure you have all the details in place, et cetera. Foolish behavior, again, look before you leap. Take some caution, look around. This is illustrated here by the dog who's a faithful friend. It could also be your intuition. Something there that's kind of giving you a warning. Just pay attention. Negative meanings, it could mean restlessness. Always going on about new adventures, new things, moving around a lot. Looking for the next thing. It can also have a negative meaning here. Let's go to the three cards that I was showing you here. I don't know if you can see my mouse of not. If we start with the Fool in Rohrig tarot, we see here a person who is both old and young at the same time. This is really showing that duality between letting go of something that is old and then starting something new. The card is kind of divided into half. On the left hand side we also see here that there are the elements of caution that I was talking about. In the previous card we saw it as a dog who's trying to get the person's attention. Here it's more about the tiger and the crocodile. Again, it's showing danger, signs or signals.
