Donald L. "Don" Monson (born April 1, 1933) is a former college basketball head coach and the father of head coach Dan Monson. He was a high school head coach for 18 seasons and college head coach for 14 seasons: five at Idaho and nine at Oregon. He was selected by his peers as the national coach of the year in 1982.
Born in Menahga, Minnesota, Monson moved with his family when he was in the second grade to Coeur d'Alene in northern Idaho. During his sophomore year at Coeur d'Alene High School, the Vikings won the state title under longtime coach Elmer Jordan, defeating Burley 53–43 in far-away Pocatello. Monson graduated in 1951 and then attended the University of Idaho, where he lettered for three years in basketball and graduated in 1955.(team photo)
After a stint in the military, Monson was a successful high school coach in Eastern Washington, a head coach for 18 seasons from 1958–76, compiling a record of 266–134 (.665). Monson first led Cheney High School, where he stayed for nine seasons with a record of 105–69 (.603). While in Cheney, southwest of nearby Spokane, he earned a master's degree at Eastern Washington State College. In 1967, Monson moved southwest to Pasco, where he led Pasco High for nine seasons and posted a 161–65 (.712) record.
Brian Hugh Warner (born January 5, 1969), known professionally as Marilyn Manson, is an American musician, songwriter, actor, painter, multimedia artist, and former music journalist. He is known for his controversial stage personality and image as the lead singer of the band Marilyn Manson, which he co-founded with Daisy Berkowitz and of which he remains the only constant member. His stage name was formed by juxtaposing the names of two American cultural icons, namely actress Marilyn Monroe and murderer Charles Manson.
He is best known for his band's records released in the 1990s, most notably Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals, which along with his public image earned him a reputation in the mainstream media as a controversial figure and an allegedly negative influence on young people. In the U.S. alone, three of the band's albums have been awarded platinum and three more went gold, and the band has had eight releases debut in the top ten, including two number-one albums. Manson has been ranked number 44 in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by Hit Parader, and has been nominated for four Grammy Awards.
Thomas Spencer Monson (born August 21, 1927) is an American religious leader, author, and the sixteenth and current President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). As president, Monson is considered by adherents of the religion to be a "prophet, seer, and revelator." A printer by trade, Monson has spent most of his life engaged in various church leadership positions and in public service.
Monson was ordained an LDS apostle at age 36, served in the First Presidency under three church presidents and was the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles from March 12, 1995 until he became President of the Church. He succeeded Gordon B. Hinckley as church president on February 3, 2008.
Monson has received four honorary doctorate degrees, as well as the Boy Scouts of America's Silver Buffalo and the World Organization of the Scout Movement's Bronze Wolf—both awards the highest given in each organization. Monson is a member of the National Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America, the organization's governing body.
The Drugs were a five-piece Australian alternative rock band from Sydney. Formed by Ian Baddley in 1999, they released their first single, "Pop Song", in 2000. Their debut album, Music's in Trouble, was released in 2002. Their second album, The Very Next Of, was released in 2004.
They disbanded in 2005, but reunited in 2008 for a national tour before disbanding again in 2009. A documentary about the band, Masking Agents, has been made and was released in November 2011.
They appear as guest vocalists on Jewish punk rock band Yidcore's album Fiddlin on Ya Roof.
Their back catalogue, except for The Very Next Of and "Burger King", was released in 2006 on iTunes.
Their members' names are pseudonyms as revealed in the documentary Masking Agents.
The Drugs formed in 1999. Their first single, "Pop Song", was released in 2000, closely followed by the EP The Only Way is Up. In 2002, The Drugs won an ARIA for The Only Way is Up and recorded two singles, "Metal vs. Hip Hop" and "The Bold and the Beautiful"; the latter was performed on Rove Live with a The Bold and the Beautiful cast member Ronn Moss pretending to play the bass guitar. Their debut album, Music's in Trouble, was released in October to positive acclaim. The album consists of the two singles, 10 new tracks, two bonus tracks from the Only Way is Up EP and four filler tracks. The third single, "Burger King", was released for free online.
A music video or song video is a short film integrating a song and imagery, produced for promotional or artistic purposes. Modern music videos are primarily made and used as a marketing device intended to promote the sale of music recordings. There are also cases where songs are used in tie in marketing campaigns that allow them to become more than just a song. Tie ins and merchandising could be used in toys are marketing campaigns for food and other products. Although the origins of music videos date back to musical short films that first appeared in the 1920s, they came into prominence in the 1980s when MTV based their format around the medium. Prior to the 1980s, these works were described by various terms including "illustrated song", "filmed insert", "promotional (promo) film", "promotional clip", "promotional video", "song video", "song clip" or "film clip". Since the creation and increased popularity of YouTube, mainstream artists now promote new music videos by releasing trailers of short promos on the site for their upcoming song and music video. Consequentially, YouTube has been converted into a social media platform for celebrities and artists to market themselves to their fans and audiences.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3Zsvml57PE is a video describing how to learn more about the Mormon Church. On February 4, 2008, President Thomas S. Monson was announced as the 16th President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). He selected President Henry B. Eyring and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf as his counselors in the First Presidency. This is the news conference when that took place.
Interview with Stephen, Mormon Apologist (Formerly Rommelator on YouTube). Stephen and I discuss the question of how far a Mormon prophet can go and yet still be a true prophet. Apparently, it doesn't matter how black the banana is --- it's not bad fruit unless it also has an official Dole sticker on it. --- Thinking about this issue more, I wonder about a situation where Monson would say from the Conference pulpit, "This *is* official doctrine." Even that, given the standards of minimalist Mormon apologists, would not yet constitute official doctrine. So Monson could hypothetically announce from the Conference pulpit that it is official doctrine that Jesus was a sinner, integrate it into all the correlation material and manuals, integrate it into required curriculum at BYU and institu...
Hatice Güleryüz talks to director Shaun Monson about "Earthlings," the epic documentary that brings to light the hideous atrocities perpetrated by a speciesist society.
Funny Moments with President Thomas S Monson who presides over The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Although Conference is spiritual, there are some humorous moments with it.
On December 26, 2004, CNN's Larry King interviewed President Gordon B. Hinckley of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on issues "from faith and forgiveness in the world today to the myths and realities of his own church." In this clip, Larry King asks President Hinckley about his feelings on gay marriage or alternative options for gay couples. http://in1820.com In two high-profile segments, one on ABC's World News Tonight and the other on ABC's Nightline Friday, reporter Dan Harris spent nine minutes telling about the LDS Church, including reports on the new Draper Temple and interviews with Elder M. Russell Ballard and Elder Quentin L. Cook. In a 30-second piece on ABC World News Tonight Harris focused briefly on temples, baptism for the dead, families and Proposition 8. The eight minute and 30 second "Faith Matters" piece on Nightline begins with this: "Ever since the first Mormon temple was built more than 150 years ago, they have been the subject of speculation and suspicion. The temples are imposing structures where private and sacred rituals are performed, and where outsiders are almost never welcomed." Harri...
http://in1820.com Chatting With The LDS Church President 'Round The Spit 'n' Shine LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson spends time with one of Utah's best shoe shiners. It's just one of the beehive state's public places that President Monson spends some time. 2News' Ron Bird talked with Monson at a downtown hotel. It is unusual considering most LDS presidents are only seen at semi-annual conferences, events, dedicating a temple or greeting U.S. Presidents. Ron found him getting an old-fashioned shoe shine. "This is where I get my shoes shined," said Monson. "When I don't do them myself," he added. President Monson struck up a friendship with shoe shiner Elvis Mendez about five years ago. "He just started coming in and kept coming back for more," Elvis said. As yo...
