Oak Mountain State Park was a blast and the BUMP community welcomed us with open arms to experience the 28th annual Bump N Grind Festival. I had a decent idea of what to expect in regards to trails, but I was still blown away by how rad this place was! Mason and I were lucky enough to get a guided tour from Shane Richardson @shaneridesmtb . He took us on some killer stuff, but we both absolutely DUG Tails and Lightning. Now I know what you're thinking, "of course you guys loved the flow trails," but these two complimented the others so well and were built to damn near perfection! The day ended with some incredible pizza at Cappella. Day 2 was all about finding flow at Cahaba River Park and finding our climbing legs out at Double Oak. Both places provided a unique experience; Cahaba with more XC flow and some fun little jumps. Double Oak provided a solid buy in climb but rewarded with some of the most amazing views I've seen and some solid chunky descending.
