Proud to be a Sikh (Punjabi Movie) - Official First Look HD 1080p
The movie is based on the life of a gursikh professor who comes to INDIA with lots of aspirations and feelings for his heritage and culture, as he had to leave the country during 1984. But as soon as he enters the city he comes across a very different environment and culture among sikh youth. Also few incidents occured which left him in shock and made him to find out what that reason was which shook the roots of sikhi in mere 20-25 years and which took more than 500 years for our Guru Sahibaan and Gursikhs to nurture. "Proud to be a sikh" is about the journey of that gursikh professor in making sikh youngsters aware and feel proud for their identity and rich heritage , the difficulties he faced during this journey, and how he emerges victorious in the end. "Proud to be a sikh" is about clarifying the society the true image of a sikh and not the one which they have projected in their minds based on false media propaganda and other misunderstandings. "Proud to be a sikh" is about the lifestyle of a true khalsa in which he displays both the qualities of being a saint and sipahi in required conditions. Sikhs believe in a single formless God - The turban has been an important part of the Sikh culture since the time of the First Guru. - The turban is a symbol of spirituality and holiness in Sikhism. - The turban is also a symbol of honour and self-respect.. - Our martyrs, preferred to be beheaded ( khopri ) but did not let cut their hair and did not change SIKH religion.

Sikh Motorcycle Club Surrey, BC - Official Song - Released Vaisakhi 2012
Club Website: www.sikhmotorcycleclub.com Title: Sikh Motorcycle Club De Munde Singer: Parmjit Pamm Music: Amdad Ali Lyrics: Bobby Jajewala Club Website: www.sikhmotorcycleclub.com Sikh Motorcycle Club was established in 2002 when a Surrey Radio Broadcaster, Harjinder Singh Thind, invited a small group of motorcycle enthusiasts to make a documentary on Sikh motorcyclists who wore turbans. Today, there are approximately 110 members in the Club. Sikh Motorcycle Club is the only one of its kind in Canada. In the Province of BC, Sikhs are legally allowed to ride motorcycles while wearing a turban according to the Provincial Motorcycle Act. The mission of the club is motorcycle safety, helping injured motorcyclists in cooperation with AIM (Association of Injured Motorcyclists), and enhancing the communication with mainstream societies to bring awareness about Sikhs and Turbans. The Club has a commitment to participate and outreach to other community organizations. Also, the Club holds annual family gatherings to encourage the cohesion of the Club members. It was Mr. Avtar Singh Dhillon who campaigned single-handedly to earn the right to ride a motorcycle with a turban in BC for Sikhs. In the summer of 2003, Avtar Singh Gill, Harjinder Singh Thind, and Malkiat Singh Rai started meeting on a regular basis to ride motorcycles as a group under the name, "Royal Enfield Riders." A few months later, a large number of Sikh motorcyclists held a meeting and inaugurated "Sikh Motorcycle ...

What Sikh Wants Khalistan !! Khalistani slogans all over the world
What Sikh Wants Khalistan !! Khalistani slogans all over the world
Khalistan is the Sikh homeland. By definition it means land of pure people. Currently it is under Indian government's control. Many people have different opinions about how to free Khalistan. Some people are just totally confused. So the purpose of this video is to explain why Khalistan is needed, how to free it and what free Khalistan will be like. First, it is important to talk about why Khalistan is needed. Khalistan is not a destiny, it is a necessity. Guru Gobind Singh Ji said: "Raj Bina Nahin Dharam Chale Hain, Dharam Bina Sab Dalle Malle Hain" which literally means that sovereignty is a MUST in order for a religion to survive; otherwise religion perishes. Now you can understand that even Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself has said it. There are many reasons why we (Sikhs) need Khalistan. I will give you some reasons starting from the beginning. We shouldn't live with Hindus for many reasons. Hindus have always betrayed Sikhs. From the time of Gurus, Hindus have always been against Sikhs. You can't find a single name of a Hindu who was loyal to Sikhs. During two holocausts in the 18th century and many wars against Mughals, Sikhs did not receive any help from Hindus, not even from Rajputs and Marathas. It was Hindus who betrayed Sikhs and helped British army to take over Punjab, Khalistan which included all of Pakistan and some of the Indian states like Kashmir, Haryana and Himachal Pardesh. For doing this Hindu Dogras got Kashmir and the rest of the country became part of ...

Sikh Protest in India (Leaked footage of Police Killings) - #Rajoana
Please also see: www.youtube.com Also join: http A protest took place on the 29th March 2012 in the north of india, Gurdaspur (Punjab). A small group of Sikhs were protesting against the death penalty, which was ordered to be given to Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana, and was to be carried out on the 31st March 2012. A group of students had gathered and sat reciting Satnam Waheguru (The Lord's Name according to Sikh philosophy) in a peaceful manner. The indian police opened fire with AK-47 assault rifles on the unarmed civilians. As a result Bhai Jaspal Singh, a 17 year old engineering student was killed and Bhai Ranjit Singh was critically inured as shown in the video. www.itv.com India is known as the world's largest democracy, however always seems to treat minorities in this manner. Sikhs, Muslims and Christians are minorities in india and are silenced with bullets. Since 1984, human rights groups have estimated that approximately 50000 Sikhs have been killed by the indian government in extra judicial killings, unofficial figures go into 250000. It first started with Sikhs protesting for equal rights in india, which resulted in thousands being killed. Amnesty International were banned from entering the northern state of Punjab to investigate these atrocities. The Sikh community are protesting and raising awareness on human rights violations by india to prevent another Sikh genocide from taking place. Please share this video to highlight how a minority is being silenced.

Nishkam - Life, Love and Service: A Sikh perspective.
Nishkam - Life, Love and Service: A Sikh perspective.
This short film shares the concept of NISHKAMTA -- selfless service. It aims to educate and inspire viewers to learn more about the Sikh Dharam and practise the core values discussed. The film shows glimpses of volunteers lovingly installing Guru Granth Sahib Ji (the sacred collection of poems and hymns which Sikhs revere as their holy scriptures and eternal Guru) in the Guru's Darbar (Court) and also rare coverage of an 'Amrit Sanchar' (initiation ceremony) in which the participants dedicate their lives to the Sikh Dharam's inner principles (truth, contentment, compassion, humility, optimism) and outer uniform (the 5 Kakars and Dastar). The filming took place at the Gurudwara served by GNNSJ on Soho Road in Handsworth, Birmingham, UK, in 2012. It captures members of the congregation praying, singing God's praises and serving others - three activities which take place in every Gurudwara around the world. The narration is that of Bhai Sahib Bhai (Dr) Mohinder Singh (Chairman, Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha -- GNNSJ) talking passionately about some of the Sikh Dharam's core principles. About: GNNSJ is a multifaceted Faith Based Organisation encouraging the practise of the Sikh Dharam. It has been working in the UK, India and Kenya informally since the 1950s and formally as a registered UK charity (no.508470) since 1978. Bhai Sahib Bhai (Dr) Mohinder Singh is third in line of spiritual leaders of this organisation. For further information email info@gnnsj,org Filmed by ...
