Sri Lalitha sahasranama stotram-1
Lalita sahasranama is a sacred Hindu text for the worshippers of the Goddess Lalita Devi, ie the Divine Mother, in the form of her and the male gods' feminine power, Shakti. Lalita is the Goddess of bliss, an epithet for Parvati. Etymologically, "Lalita" means "She Who Plays". It is supposedly one of the most complete stotras, one need only recite it to gain total salvation. The names are organised as in a hymn, ie in the way of stotras. This hymn occurs in the Brahmanda Purana. It is a dialogue between Hayagriva, an (avatara) of MahaVishnu and the great sage Agastya. Lalitha sahasranama was composed by 8 vaag devis (vaag devathas) upon the command of Devi Sri Lalitha. The 8 vaag devis are - Vasini, Kameshwari, Aruna, Vimala, Jayinee, Modhinee, Sarveshwari, Koulini. This depicts us the truth "One can worship Lalitha only if she wishes us to do so". The slokas are organised in such a way that, Devi is described from "Head to Feet" (kEsAdhi pAdham). Lalita Sahasranamam is held as a sacred text for the worship of the Divine Mother, Lalita, and is also used in the worship of Durga, Kali, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Bhagavathi, etc. It is a principal text of Shakti worshippers. Lalita Sahasranama names the various attributes of the Divine Mother, and all these names are organised in the form of a hymn. This Sahasranama is used in various modes for the worship of the Divine Mother. Some of the modes of worship are parayana (Recitations), archana, homa etc. The sloka is organised based <b>...</b>

Secret Knowledge of Ancient vedas in Hindusim
The Vedas (Sanskrit वेद véda, "knowledge") are a large body of texts originating in Ancient India. Composed in Vedic Sanskrit, the texts constitute the oldest layer of Sanskrit literature and the oldest scriptures of Hinduism The class of "Vedic texts" is aggregated around the four canonical Saṃhitās or Vedas proper (turīya), of which three (traya) are related to the performance of yajna (sacrifice) in historical (Iron Age) Vedic religion: the Rigveda, containing hymns to be recited by the hotṛ or chief priest; the Yajurveda, containing formulas to be recited by the adhvaryu or officiating priest; the Samaveda, containing formulas to be chanted by the udgātṛ. The fourth is the Atharvaveda, a collection of spells and incantations, stories, predictions, apotropaic charms and some speculative hymns The various Indian philosophies and sects have taken differing positions on the Vedas. Schools of Indian philosophy which cite the Vedas as their scriptural authority are classified as "orthodox" (āstika). Other traditions, notably Buddhism and Jainism, which did not regard the Vedas as authorities are referred to by traditional Hindu texts as "heterodox" or "non-orthodox" (nāstika) schools.

Dr. Subramanian Swamy speech about his book "Hindus under Siege" (Full)
Hinduism is the oldest spiritual tradition of this world and is all about liberty and freedom to carve one's own path to divine. It has no concept of apostasy or blasphemy or even conversion! But without any push towards conversion it is winning hearts and minds of people all over the world by it's teaching, love and philosophy alone. Liberty is gr8est asset of humanity and no liberty is gr8er than liberty of choosing your Gods/Goddesses or none!!That is Hinduism-Liberty and Liberation!! Hinduism is not just a faith. It is the union of reason and intuition that can not be defined but is only to be experienced. Evil and error are not ultimate. There is no Hell, for that means there is a place where God is not, and there are sins which exceed his love. Hindu texts laugh at religions as being the dogma of self-righteous fools and emphasize on Dharma-the righteous way. Hinduism is just a convenient label for the worlds oldest spiritual and philosophical tradition. Aum chant
Omh/Aum, a symbol of Hindu faith, is one of the most sacred symbols in Hinduism. Studies have shown that this sound has healing and relaxing effects. The symbol comes from Devnagiri, a script based on Sanskrit, from which many Indian and other languages have emerge Aum is commonly pronounced as a long or over-long nasalized close-mid back rounded vowel, though there are other enunciations pronounced in received traditions. It is placed at the beginning of most Hindu texts as a sacred exclamation to be uttered at the beginning and end of a reading of the Vedas or previously to any prayer or mantra. The Mandukya Upanishad is entirely devoted to the explanation of the syllable. The syllable is taken to consist of three phonemes, a, u and m, variously symbolizing the Three Vedas or the Hindu Trimurti or three stages in life ( birth, life and death ). Though ostensibly in some traditions it is polysyllabic and vocalized as a triphthong, the Omkara is held to move through and contain all vowels possible in human speech. download link for the full mp3: www.easy-share.com
