New Delhi traffic crossing...
Road leading to Old Delhi and Chandni Chowk, originally meaning moonlit square or market, is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi, now in central north Delhi, India. Built in 17th century by Shah Jahan and designed by his daughter Jahan Ara, the market was once divided by canals to reflect moonlight, now closed, yet it still remains one of India's largest whole sale markets. New Delhi 1st April Peaceful March for Freedom of 7 Bahai Leaders in Iran - Computer.m4v
12 countries of the world called for unconditional release of the 7 Bahai leaders and other prisoners of conscience on 1st April. In an initiative coordinated by human rights organization United4Iran, the image of the seven was widely displayed on Sunday 1 April -- on mobile billboards, buses, bicycles, a canal boat, banners and T-shirts. The billboard/banner image of the Baha'i leaders was a mosaic of smaller photographs of hundreds of people currently jailed in Iran including journalists, trade unionists, politicians, student and women's activists, and religious leaders.

David Guetta - Live In India, New Delhi 9th March 2012
David Guetta Live in New Delhi 9th March 2012: David Guetta's First leg of his tour to India. It was a DJ set of 2hours. Setlist Included covers by artists like Avicii etc etc. Fair amount of turnout, well anticipated by the crowd. As the grapewine was doing rounds that David would be having a full set performance which to our amaze was just a false news by the organisers, hence in my opinion passes were over priced. Well managed post Metallica fiasco with 3 levels of security and barricading/Frisking, it was a booze free concert hence the SPONSORs sold apple juice mixed with coke ;) . Delhi promises to keep it cool and calm. Folks expect more of live acts in the coming time. No, passes weren't sold out and was just a HOAX. I guess this gimmick doesn't work every time, Janta is smarter. Few Quotes by David Guetta "I didint know people knew my songs in INDIA" "I am very excited to finally get to play in India, I know my music has been heard and supported for many years, but until now its been impossible to get there. This will be a very special tour, I am Sure" Video Compiled by Khalid Wani & Aaquib Wani Edited by HK.

Tibetan youth self-immolates in New Delhi
Tibetan youth self-immolates in New Delhi
New Delhi: A Tibetan protester lit himself on fire at a demonstration on Monday in the Indian capital ahead of a visit by China's President. The protester was engulfed in flames as he ran near the speakers at the rally near the Indian Parliament. Fellow activists beat out the flames with Tibetan flags they were carrying, while others poured water on him. The protester, identified as Jampa Yeshi, was being treated for severe burns at a New Delhi hospital, a Tibetan organiser said. Chinese President Hu Jintao is expected to arrive in India later this week for a summit meeting. More than 600 protesters, carrying banners and posters marched across New Delhi to a central plaza near the Indian Parliament to hold a protest the visit. Some carried posters saying "Tibet is burning" and "Tibet is not part of China". At the protest venue a big poster with Hu's face with a bloody palm print on it said: "Hu Jin Tao is unwelcome" at the summit. At least 30 people in Tibetan areas of China have set themselves on fire over the past year to protest Beijing's rule over their homeland. The Dalai Lama has blamed China's "ruthless policy" for the self-immolations, while China accuses the Dalai Lama of stirring up trouble. China says Tibet has always been part of its territory. Tibetans say the Himalayan region was virtually independent for centuries. Monday's was the second self-immolation in India in recent months. Last year, a young Tibetan exile set himself on fire outside the Chinese ...
