Air Conditioning Cymru
Air conditioning systems are a way of cooling, dehumidifying and cleaning the air in the home or office. There are various types of air conditioning systems which all have different purposes and ideal uses. Most people believe that air conditioning is only used in countries with hot and humid climates, this is far from the case and air conditioning in the UK and Wales is increasing in popularity especially as our summers get hotter due to global warming.
If you run a business and employ others it is your legal duty to ensure that your employees are able to work in a safe environment, this also includes temperature. Making sure your employees are cool throughout the hot temperatures of the summer will mean they are more productive.
Air conditioning simply takes the hot air from the room using a compressor, the compressor then pumps the air around a cooling coil and pumps out the cool air which controls the temperature of the room. There are filters and water tanks in the air conditioning system. When the air is pumped into the system the filters will catch any dust, debris, allergens and pollens and stop it being redistributed into the air. As air is cooled it is dehumidified and any water is then collected and stored in the tank in the air conditioning tank.
With the more advanced air conditioning systems with climate control and a thermostat you can choose the exact temperature you wish and the system will pump the appropriate amount of air to achieve this target.
