*Just so you know (for those who don't), I sing bass 2 (lowest bass) lowest note that I had to do for this song is a low A natural, an A2 I think? (first A on the first space of the bass line staff).... INFO 2009 Kentucky Chapters ACDA (American Choral Director Association) Fall Convocation presents: The 2009 All-State Middle and Jr. High School SATB Choir, with the direction of Dr. Christopher Aspaas Performing 1 of the 6 songs performed by the Choir (2nd of two of my favorite songs), "The pasture" - Arr. Z. Randall Stroope ; Text - Robert Frost ABOUT: No. 2 from "Where the Earth Meets the Sky". The pastoral and European influences in Robert Frost's writings lend themselves to the American setting of "The Pasture". - Colla Voce DISCLAIMER: 2009 - recorded/manufactured by: Soundwaves Recording - Huron, OH Recorded: November 7, 2009 at the University of Kentucky 2009 Kentucky Chapters ACDA (American Choral Director Association) Fall Convocation - Copyright *I made this video to show my friends what we've sung (at least one of them) in the trip. I had fun on the trip, had fun singing, and had fun being taught by our great director... With this song, I'd think you'd agree the same way.

Summer Pasture
Summer Pasture
In the high grasslands of Tibet... change is coming. Summer Pasture is a feature-length documentary about a young nomadic couple living with their infant daughter in the pastures of eastern Tibet. With unique access to an area seldom visited by outsiders, Summer Pasture offers an rare window into a highly insular community and a sensitive portrait of a family at a time of great transition. Locho and his wife Yama live in Dzachukha, eastern Tibet nicknamed 5-most by the Chinese for being the highest, coldest, poorest, largest, and most remote area in Sichuan Province, China. They depend on their herd of yaks for survival, just as their ancestors have for generations. In recent years however, Dzachukha has undergone rapid development, which poses unprecedented challenges to nomadic life. Summer Pasture evolves as an intimate exploration of Locho and Yama's personalities, relationship, and the complicated web of circumstances that surrounds them. Over its course we witness their travails with illness, infidelity, and the dissolution of their community. In the face of mounting obstacles, Locho and Yama gradually reveal the personal sacrifice they will make to ensure their daughter's future. Through its subtle observation of Locho and Yama's character, Summer Pasture provides a deeply personal account of what it means to be a nomad in a swiftly modernizing world, and a universal story of family survival.

Sheep in desert pastures need a shepherd to lead them. There is sufficient grass, but it is sparse. Sheep left on their own will wander searching for grass and eventually die. Staying close to their shepherd is a matter of life and death. This clip is an excerpt from Ray Vander Laan's full-length Faith Lessons™ Vol. 12, Walking with God in the Desert. Green Pastures- Fernando Ortega
Green Pastures by Fernando Ortega: Troubles and trials often betray us Causing the weary body to stray But we shall walk beside the still waters With the Good Shepherd leading the way Those who have strayed were sought by the master He who once gave his life for the sheep Out on the mountain still he is searching Bringing them in forever to keep Going up home to live in green pastures Where we shall live and die nevermore Even the Lord will be in that number When we shall reach that heavenly shore We shall not heed the voice of a stranger For he will lead us onto despair Following on with Jesus our Savior We shall all reach that country so fair Going up home to live in green pastures Where we shall live and die nevermore Even the Lord will be in that number When we shall reach that heavenly shore

The St.Joseph Community Chorus, under the artistic direction of Frank D. Thomas and founded in 1980, presents interesting, challenging and diverse programs of choral music from the classical to contemporary throughout the Midwestern United States. The Chorus enjoys a rich history of outstanding choral performances in many beautiful settings. In addition to its three-concert season, the Chorus collaborates with the St. Joseph Symphony each year performing such works as the Haydn Creation, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Britten's War Requiem, Vaughan Williams' Sea Symphony, and Verdi's Requiem. The Chorus has also performed exchange concerts with other community choruses and has performed on the Moberly, MO Performing Arts Series as well as at the Mound City State Theater Arts Association and the Hiawatha Arts and Theatrical Society. In February 2005, the Chamber Choir premièred three Anthony Glise works with the Chorale Divertimento from Lille, France on the St. Joseph Performing Arts series. The Chorus has toured Great Britain and Eastern Europe participating in the Innsbruck Choral Festival. It has performed at state and regional conventions and premièred commissioned works by internationally known composers such as John Bacharet, Donald Patriquin and Stephen Paulus as well as local composer Michael Mathews. From within the Chorus, a select Chamber Choir was created in 1987. The chamber ensemble, invited frequently to perform at public and private events during the year, performs ...

Greener Pastures EP5 Racing: Featuring Patrick Switzer and John Barnet
With the Greener Pastures filming section in Switzerland coming to a close, we were all ready to get to Kozakov and join the party. Oh yes, and practice the course with the best racers in the world, especially now that we had become comfortable with the European style road construction in a group dynamic. The 3Heads have filmed Kozakov Challenge since 2009, and with their experience and ability to speak the language makes it an extremely exciting event to cover. We couldn't be happier being part of making the event well known again through high quality media, and this time highlighting the Greener Pastures riders. A bonus for the project, five Greener Pastures riders placed in the top ten! Congrats! 1st - Patrick Switzer 4th - James Kelly 6th - George Mackenzie 7th - Ramón Königshausen 9th - Kyle Martin The Greener Pastures tour was exhausting, yet an invaluable adventure to remember because of the people, the skating and the life experiences in a foreign land. It is an absolute pleasure to expose the phenomenal free-riding in Switzerland. Yet, let it be known that European style road construction is some of the most dangerous to ride. If you decide to visit, talk to the locals and more specifically Samy at Roll Laden Skate Tours to help plan your trip, and be informed of the laws and the best places to skate. Be cautious, and ride with locals! Roll Laden Contact: nopain@nobrain.ch @ roll-laden.tv Please visit www.skategreenerpastures.com for background information on the ...

Opening Up a Mini Pasture (Part 1)
Opening Up a Mini Pasture (Part 1)
Access to the old barn here was blocked off by fencing so we opened up the area and the barn to our cows and donkey. As a bonus, this ended up providing them with shelter and more pasture. We found a few interesting things in the barn and a neat eco-system of thousands of grasshoppers and giant garden spiders in the mini-pasture.
