Pink Floyd - High Hopes (Live In Gdansk)
Beyond the horizon of the place we lived when we were young In a world of magnets and miracles Our thoughts strayed constantly and without boundary The ringing of the division bell had begun Along the long road and on down to the causeway Do they still LIVE there by the cut There was a ragged band that followed in our footsteps Running before time took our dreams away Leaving the myriad small creatures trying to tie us to the ground To a life consumed by slow decay The grass was greener The light was brighter With friends surrounded The nights of wonder Looking beyond the embers of bridges glowing behind us To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again Dragged by the force of some inner tide At a higher altitude with flag unfurled We reached the dizzy heights of that dreamed up world **** Encumbered forever by desire and ambition There's a hunger still unsatisfied Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon Though down this road we've been so many times The grass was greener The light was brighter The taste was sweeter The nights of wonder With friends surrounded The dawn mist glowing The water flowing The endless river The grass was greener The light was brighter The taste was sweeter The nights of wonder With friends surrounded The dawn mist glowing The water flowing The endless river Forever and ever

Scorpions - Wind of Change [Gdansk, Poland_04 June 2009]
The concert titled "It started in Poland " took place in Gdańsk shipyard 04 June 2009 to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the first free elections in Eastern Europe. Gdańsk Shipyard is a large Polish shipyard, located in the city of Gdańsk. The yard gained international fame when Solidarity (Solidarność) was founded there in September 1980. In 1980 Gdańsk was the arena for events that changed the face of the world. A strike by 17000 ship builders saw Solidarity (Solidarność), led by shipyard electrician Lech Wałęsa, recognised as the first non-communist trade union in the then Soviet Eastern Bloc. The move was one of the first successful steps that led to the eventual collapse of communism, across Eastern Europe. In Poland on 4th June, 1989 the first free elections to Parliament were held in the whole communist world which marked the begining of the end of communist rule in Eastern Europe. Later that year in November the Berlin Wall came down..... setlist: 1. Coming Home 2. Loving You Sunday Morning 3. Is There Anybody There 4. The Zoo 5. Coast To Coast 6. Send Me An Angel 7. 321 8.
