Tom Novy (born Thomas Reichold) is a DJ and producer from Munich, Germany. He was the author of several club hits including "Without Your Love" and "Your Body". The latter has reached the top 40 of the ARIAnet Singles Chart in July 2005, and the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart in December 2005. The song was the 142nd highest selling song of the year in the UK.

Novy started producing music in 1994 when he signed for the Munich based record label, Kosmo Records, with his first record, "I House U", a cover of the Jungle Brothers' "I'll House You", with lyrics by Novy. His original tracks ran more along the subgenre of European-flavoured progressive house, until he started working with Eniac, better known as co-producer of DJ Tomcraft. Since then, Novy has moved to a Chicago-style garage house sound, usually vocalized.^{[citation needed]} After a few more tracks on his own, Novy has once more taken on a studio partner, Adrian Misiewicz of DJ Manga.

James Todd Smith (born January 14, 1968), better known as LL Cool J (an abbreviation for Ladies Love Cool James), is an American rapper, entrepreneur, and actor from Bay Shore, New York. He is known for romantic ballads such as "I Need Love", "Around the Way Girl" and "Hey Lover" as well as pioneering hip-hop such as "I Can't Live Without My Radio", "I'm Bad", "The Boomin' System", and "Mama Said Knock You Out". He has released thirteen studio albums and two greatest hits compilations, including 2008's Exit 13, the last for his record deal with Def Jam Recordings. He has also appeared in numerous films, and currently stars as NCIS Special Agent Sam Hanna on the CBS crime drama television series NCIS: Los Angeles.

As he grew older, Smith found a way to escape the effects of his abuse, and his bullying attitude: hip-hop music. He fell in love with it at the age of nine, and by 11 he was writing lyrics and making his own songs with some DJ equipment his grandmother gave him to stop him riding motorcycles or doing karate. Before too long, LL was an established member of the Hip-Hop community in his area. He gained notoriety through his many rap battles against well-established MCs, including the battle against Chicken and Porn that rocketed him to fame.

Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter who is currently signed to Asylum / Atlantic Records. Sheeran broke through commercially in June 2011, when his debut single "The A Team" debuted at number 3 on the UK chart.

Sheeran was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire to Irish and English parents, before moving to Framlingham, Suffolk; he is a cousin of TV journalist and presenter Gordon Burns. He learned guitar at a very young age, and began writing songs during his time at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham. His early childhood memories, referred to in a interview on the Zane Lowe show, included listening to Van Morrison on his countless trips to London with his parents and going to an intimate gig with Damien Rice in Ireland when he was 11. He also opened for Nizlopi in Norwich in April 2008 after being one of their guitar technicians. Sheeran began recording in 2005, which led to the release of his first EP, The Orange Room EP. Sheeran also released 2 albums, a self-titled one in 2006 and Want Some? in 2007. He moved to London in 2008 to play gigs, starting off in very small venues, playing every day, to as little as five people. In 2008, he auditioned for the ITV series Britannia High.

Brantley Gilbert (born January 20, 1985 in Jefferson, Georgia) is an American country rock music singer-songwriter. He has released two albums, both on the Average Joe's Entertainment Group label. His songs have also been recorded by Colt Ford and Jason Aldean. In December 2010, he left Average Joe's label to join Valory Music Group, where he has charted "Country Must Be Country Wide". A deluxe edition of Halfway to Heaven was released on September 13, 2011, two months before "Country Must Be Country Wide" reached number one on the Hot Country Songs charts.

His first album, Modern Day Prodigal Son, was originally set to be released in 2006. After signing with Average Joe's Entertainment in mid-2009, he finally released the album.Halfway to Heaven, followed in 2010. In February 2011, he signed with Big Machine Records' Valory Music Group division. He then re-released Halfway to Heaven as a deluxe edition with additional tracks.

Gilbert decided to become a singer after an almost fatal car accident when he was nineteen, he survived with a DUI as his worst problem from it. Brantley Gilbert has written songs that Colt Ford and Jason Aldean have cut. The songs "Dirt Road Anthem" (co-written and originally recorded by Colt Ford) and "My Kinda Party" were both released as major hits for Aldean from his 2010 album My Kinda Party; they were both recorded by Gilbert himself on his first album "Modern Day Prodigal Son" and revisited in his second album "Halfway to Heaven". Aldean also cut Brantley Gilbert's "The Best of Me", which is available on the Wal-Mart exclusive and iTunes release of his 2009 album Wide Open.
