Things We Do

Things We Do is the first album from the band Indigenous, released in 1998 under the Pachyderm Records label.

In 1999, Indigenous won three Native American Music Awards for this record, including two top honors: Album of the Year and Group of the Year.

A video for the lead single and title track, directed by Chris Eyre (acclaimed director of Smoke Signals), won the American Indian Film Festival award and was shown three times at the Sundance Film Festival. The track "Now That You're Gone" peaked at #22 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, making Indigenous one of the first Native American bands to break into that realm. Amazon.com named the band Blues Artist of the Year. Indigenous was featured on broadcast shows such as NPR's All Things Considered, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, CBS Saturday Morningand Austin City Limits. B.B. King became a self-proclaimed fan, and invited the band to join his Blues Festival Tour.

Angela McCluskey

Angela McCluskey is a Scottish singer-songwriter based in California. She performs as a solo artist and as a member of the folk rock group Wild Colonials. McCluskey has also provided vocals for Curio and recorded the European dance hit and US Mitsubishi commercial hit "Breathe" among other songs with Télépopmusik (on albums Genetic World and Angel Milk). Angela also sang "Beautiful Things" for American Express and more recently her voice can be heard on the Schick Quattro commercial singing "I’m Not the Girl". Her songs have appeared on the soundtracks for the films Rachel Getting Married, Sherrybaby, The Beat That My Heart Skipped. Her music has also been featured in the TV series Grey's Anatomy.

Biography

Angela McCluskey was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 28, 1967. She went to London, and found work as a publicist, and then in the video department of EMI Records. In 1993, McCluskey relocated to Hollywood, California.

She is married to composer Paul Cantelon who she met around 1992 in London where he was playing piano in a restaurant.

Bon Homme County, South Dakota

Bon Homme County (pronounced BAHN'-uhm) is a county located in the U.S. state of South Dakota. As of the 2010 census, the population was 7,070. Its county seat is Tyndall.

Bon Homme County is the point of origin for the Siberian alien, Salsola kali, a type of tumbleweed, first reported here in 1877, probably introduced in a shipment of flax seed from Ukraine.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 582 square miles (1,510 km²), of which 564 square miles (1,460 km²) is land and 18 square miles (47 km²) (3.1%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 7,260 people, 2,635 households, and 1,786 families residing in the county. The population density was 13 people per square mile (5/km²). There were 3,007 housing units at an average density of 5 per square mile (2/km²). The racial makeup of the county was 95.51% White, 0.62% Black or African American, 2.99% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.18% from other races, and 0.62% from two or more races. 0.58% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. 41.3% were of German, 19.8% Czech and 9.9% Dutch ancestry.
